Sherbert Lullaby I told Syl I would take whatever position is left over after others chose and I ended up with the Guardian. But! If you want it, go ahead. I'm more interested in making a Scholar or Citizen!

Hey there.
Welcome to the guild. We've just started the "Exclusive Opening" where four volunteers have taken on the responsibility of being "The First" to step into the world of Krishna. Behind the scenes, I'm still working on game systems, open storylines and other little perks to the guild. One of our members, Sherbert Lullaby, is looking to start a "Prequel" roleplay which will flesh out the history, habits and culture of some of the races and their characters. Roleplay is currently closed in the main story, but I'm interested to see some "Prequel" roleplay. I'm occupied with main system creation, so anyone can feel free to take the reigns on starting the Prequel if interested.

Sherbert Lullaby Let's figure out what kind of characters we're gonna make! What race did you have your eye on? cat_blaugh I am leaning more towards the Umbrah. Is there a specific race you need? And For class I would like crafting Citizen if Possible.

Well I love playing the villain in stories, but either way would be fun I think! We could be childhood friends in the beginning and try to figure out how we will become rivals? Scholar or Citizen are fine with me, depends on if you have a preference.

So a question for you boss: For rp purposes what Kind of world are we coming from? What I am asking is what kind of technology are we leaving behind and I may have missed it in my readings somewhere, but are we here voluntarily or not?

The world we're in is fairly low tech, more a fantasy setting than anything so that's probably a pretty safe assumption to go off, though it has purposefully been left fairly open for the players to shape the history and back story of the races.
As for the people being brought through the portal the reason for that and the willingness of those chosen is definitely a mystery for the time being. I'm sure all will be revealed in due time.

So what if I had an Umbrah Character that Worked as a Renaissance fair re-enacting a Barrel maker / Wine maker in a fairly advanced world? Would that be logical? I am just trying to figure out if I were an Umbrah character I assume I would be from a specific world and if so I am just trying to figure out what kind of world so I can properly transfer that to my characters disabilities of being thrown into an unknown situation with absolutely no technology.
