Astrid was nervous as she went to Max's car with him. She was scared getting in but laid down in the back seat, shaking in fear. It was so weird to have someone like her for a change. Astrid wasn't even used to going to the pokemon center at all. She had not even had her shots so it was amazing she wasn't already dead.

Max got his car to start and drove to the Pokémon center and parked in it and told them that he got a Pokémon that is badly hurt. her carried her inside " it will be okay Astrid they will take care of you" at first they thought he was her master but know he was not as he was far too caring to leave any Pokémon like this. he ends up getting a hotel room to rest and came by to the center to check up on her

Astrid was hooked up to some IVs shaking as she was in a kennel that was big enough for her to move some. She was so scared that she didn't know what to do. She looked so scared as she laid in the kennel. She whimpered when she saw the door opening and nurse Joy coming in the room. She wasn't expecting for Max to enter the room. Astrid was not sure what to do as Nurse Joy opened the kennel for Max. You could see she was wagging her tail a tiny bit as she looked up at him with longing eyes.

Max walked into the room and knee down smiling at Astrid. he take out something from his backpack and it was a pokéball that had gold trim and Astrid's name on it. "seeing how I was the one to bring you here. they allow me to take you as my Pokémon. would you want me to be you're...friend" he said trying to find the right word and rolled it out to her. if she would touch it and go inside she would be his Pokémon

Astrid tilted her head before she saw the pokeball. She sniffed at it and went inside after pushing the button with her nose. She then stayed inside but got scared and came back out on her own before she tried to stand but fell back down. "She'll be able to go home by tomorrow. She just needs to save her strength for now." Nurse Joy said smiling as she helped Astrid lay down on the bed again. Astrid whimpered wanting Max to stay with her.

Max reach down to pet her head and smiled " i will be back first thing in the morning. i need to move those boxes into our home" he said and give her a kiss on the forehead. happy to see her getting better. it was hard for him to leave her alone for this night and could not stop thinking about if Astrid was doing alright.

Overnight, Astrid was taken off of fluids and was doing really well. She was able to walk on her own with the cast on her wounded and broken leg protecting it. The cast was a pinkish purple and only made Astrid look so cute. The next morning, she was up and was eating her food, which nurse Joy was glad to see. Astrid would lay in her kennel just staring at the door, waiting for Max to get there and take her home. She was being released sooner than normal because she was doing so well. Though she was still shy around everyone that passed by when Max wasn't around. Astrid perked her ears every time someone would enter but if it wasn't Max, she would huddle in the corner until they passed by.

Mad had a hard time getting there but he made it at noon and was showed his way to Astrid and smiled at her. he couldn't sleep very will and reach down taking her into his arms " told you I would come back for you" he said to her. he walked her outside to his car and put her into the back seat " why do all of them look the same" he laughed and got into the driver seat

Astrid's tail wagged as she saw Max. Once she was in the backseat of his car, she laid down. She then tilted her head when he asked why all of them look the same, she wondered what he meant. She had never been to a pokemon center so she didn't know what he meant.

Max felt like he was getting a creepy stare at from the nurse and headed home. he sighed to himself and better not ask this again close to a pokemon center. once at his house. he opened the door for her and then the front door wanting to her to walk into the house on her own. he had everything ready. a bed next to his and rolled his eyes knowing she is going to lay down on his bed not caring about the pet bed

Astrid went right over to the pet bed. She thought being on the furniture was a bad thing. She then laid down on her bed, not wanting to get in trouble. She then looked at Max as she laid there before she let her leg lay on the soft edge of the bed so she could be comfortable before she wagged her tail at Max.

Max sat down onto his bed petting the side of it for Astrid to be at his right side. he feel like taking a nap right now and rest his head onto the pillow. he looked at the time right now and smiled lightly " really don't have much for today. lucky it's a good time for a nap" he laughed a bit to himself

Astrid moved to where she was laying next to his bed before she nudged his hand onto his head as it was dangling off the bed. Then she heard what he said before she laid her head down once he finished petting her before she fell asleep for a nap, having been up since dawn.

Max close his eyes and rubs the back of her head. he started to have a odd dream and buried his face into her fur. after a few hours later he started to wake up slowly with light from the window blinding him

Astrid woke up a few minutes after he did. It was close to Dinner time about now. She was looking around the house before she looked outside and saw another pokemon sniffing around the yard. it was another one of Max's pokemon. She whimpered a bit and went to Max laying next to him in her bed and started shaking as she buried her face in his chest.
