As Nkechi walks into the nearest town to find Binka some sweet eats, he he brings up his character screen/ skill list. "It seems that boar helped me level up a bit. I didn't even notice." He says as he adds 10 points to his physical recovery. "Pweyahh! Pweyah!!" exclaims Binka. "I know you're hungry binka. You see me searching. Just a little more patience please." He requests. Walking further into town he noticed a sweet shop. Full of cakes, canollis*, cookies and brownies. "Binka... We're here." At that moment a small black blur blazed into the bakery. Nkechi already knowing what happened looked into his cargo pocket where binka was. Obviously her whereabouts were clear. Binka's at the counter squeaking in excitement at the baker. "Calm down, Calm down." Nkechi says as he pets his companion on the head. "Ma'am if you would be so kind as to getting me a bakers dozen of your sweetest sugar cookies. I would really appreciate it." He said with a smile. After receiving the treats and handing over the coin for said treats, they took refuge under a shady tree and enjoyed the fruits of their victory.
"Are you enjoying yourself?" He asked Binka as he got no response due to her scarfing down sweet after sweet. "After we are done eating its back to training. We've got to be better." Nkechi says. "I wonder where we'll go though? Maybe the plains." He ponders. "Pweyahh!" shouts Binka with satisfaction. Very full and very happy. Nkechi picks her up, places her on his right shoulder and gives her a quick nuzzle. "Let's do some more training." He says calmly as he begins walking. After walking for about 30 minutes he notices a silver haired gentleman resting by a tree. Binka can't take her eyes off him. It actually looks like Binka may be familiar with this person. Or maybe she senses something in him that she either likes or dislikes. She hops off Nkechi's shoulder and runs straight to the silver haired gentleman. "Binka!! With ME!!!" He exclaims trying to withdraw her, but to no avail. Binka is in noticeable distance of the silver haired man.
Hectic was snoring very loudly and woke to the sound of his snot bubble popping. He stretched very dramatically and opened his eyes to a small Hegdehog. "Hello." he said. He scratched it under his chin and stood to open his stat window. "I'm level 3. I've gone up two levels. I have 20 stats to distribute." he pondered. "I'll put 10 in physical strength and 10 in Phys. Def." he said upgrading himself. "Since I'm a Brawler or Monk, or whatever, it would make sense for me to upgrade my magic at all. But Mag. Def would be a good idea since they could counter me long range." he thought. "Sounds good. I'll farm more EXP and upgrade my Mag. Def." he said. He ran off to fight Boars once again to upgrade himself.
Just before he reached the Mob Area he realized something. I don't have any skills or buffs. Let me check." he said opening his window. "Hmm. Iron Fist? 5% increase in strength when this ability is used. 15 second cooling period and consumes 2 Stamina each use. Ok. I'll get that one and I'll get Wood Skin. Increases my Phy. Def by 10% when less than half health. It's a Passive Skill so I don't have to activate it. Unlike Iron fist which is an Active Skill. Alright, let's fight Boars. He ran up to an unsuspecting Boar and got into position. "So you instantly know how to use the skill? Awesome!" he , too.said his fist glowing. The Boar was defeated, but it dropped nothing. "Hmm, bad luck today. He went on to defeat more Boars and level some more. After a few grinding sessions. He looked to his stats. "Ok, I leveled 3 times. And Iron fist is Level 3 now. Plus, Wood Skin is Level 2. Not bad. Also, made a decent chunk of change. It was really difficult having to rest to regain my Stamina to use Iron Fist. So, I should put points into Stamina. I leveled 3 times so I have 30 points so I'll put 15 in Stamina. And 10 in Phys. Atk plus 5 in Mag. Def." he said as he coordinated himself. He exited the Mob Area and stretched. Man. Having skill is a pain. It's alot of work to get decent training. But having a bunch of skills would mean I would have to learn alot. That's too much like work, too. There's no avoiding this crap." he smiled.
Nkechi catches up to Binka, picks her up and continues to say "What gives?! Why did you run off like that?!" No response was given from Binka. She just stared into the direction that the silver haired character. He looks at her with a puzzling look. "She's not even paying any attention to me. What's happening?" He thought. He places Binka on top of his head, to ensure there would be no running off, making sure she is well balanced. He swiped open his skills and stats menu to check progress. "Let's see what we've learned.." he says as he swipes past 2 new skills. Tamer Skill: ~Stun Roar lvl 1: Paralyze an enemy for three seconds. 20 sec recharge Companion Skill: ~Bash lvl 1: This skill requires no effort from the beast tamer. This is an auto-set skill for the companion. The companion will engage in combat with its tamer. Damage:3 (+2 every lvl)
"Excellent, not necessarily a power move, but enough to give me a slight advantage on opponents." He said as he snapped his screen away. "Also Binka can assist me in battle now. That means she can level up, which means she'll grow with me. This is excellent." He thinks to himself as he looks up, smiling at Binka. "Let's go try them out."
Back into the forest they went. Eager to try their new skills. "Binka can you try to sense a few bore in the area?" He asks "Phweyah" she said as she nodded. Beginning to glow a light green hue for a few second she squeaked in confirmation. "Pweyah Pwey." Nkechi's sense of smell picked up three creatures. "I found them too Binka. Let's get them." He said as he ran into the tree line. "I didn't know I had an adept sense of smell. with her perception and my smell we're ready for surprise attacks. Things are going great." He thought to himself as he burst into an open field within the forest. SEEING: 2x lvl 2 Boar 1x Giant Raven
"Of course there are flying creatures. Ok that's fine." Nkechi says as he puts Binka on the ground. "You ready? Or do you wanna sit this one out?" He said as he looked at his companion. Waiting for reassurance he turns his head to his enemies. "This won't be so bad on my own." He says as he begins to crack his knuckles and neck. He turns back into Binka's direction and noticed she wasn't there. She went ramming head first into the lvl 2 boar. "Wait...WAIT!!" he yelled. He noticed the giant raven going in for an attack on Binka. "STUN ROAR!!" he exclaimed as he reacted to the Giant Raven. Paralyzed in its tracks, Nkechi Lunges at the beast. Claws ready. Landing a devastating blow to its abdomen. "Don't You Touch Her." He said as the beast went flying into a nearby tree. Five seconds has passed and the Stun Roar skill still had five seconds until recharge. Nkechi looks over to Binka and notices that she has the upper hand on the boar she engaged. Smiling, until the 2nd boar initiated Binka. A shiver goes up Nkechi's spine and struggles to think of a plan. "I don't know what to do. I won't be able to reach her in time and my Stun Roar needs to recharge. She's gonna get hurt." Nkechi said in a panicked state. He began to glow a dim red. His muscles grew twice their size. He grabs the giant raven that he recently assaulted, and hurled it at the attacking boar with all his strength. "I'm not gonna make it... I'm not gonna make it.... it's gonna get her." At that moment Binka jumps off the head of the boar she was attacking sensing the oncoming attack from the other boar. "I can't believe I forgot about her ability already. Fuhehe..." He laughed. The raven impacted the 2nd boar, in succession hit the 1st boar. Causing all of them to disappear and turn into loot bags and exp. He emits a black hue. "Hm... Looks like a level up." He said as he opened his character menu. "It seems i went up 4 levels." He says as he reads the description. "30% percentage of companion EXP will be added to the tamers upon leveling up, not after every battle." and continues to read "Fighting in a horde battle will reward extra EXP upon ending combat.""Interesting" he stated. "That means you leveled up. Let me check my companion menu." He says as he swipes Binka's screen open. "New Skills" he selected
~Granite Pellets: The companion fires tiny shards of granite at opponent. Auto technique. (Only 1 auto technique can be on at once. unless stated differently) Damage: 8 (+ 2 next lvl) "Old Skills" ~Bash: Damage 5 (+2 next lvl)
"Well let's take a look at my new skills." He selects his menu. New Skills: ~Ape Spirit: A buff that increases your physical attack, physical defense and speed by 10% (15% next lvl) ~Nimble: Auto technique that allows the tamer to change his direction on a dime, even in mid-air. Much like a cheetah. No recharge required. ~Bear Stomp: Tamer stomps target with enough force to crack ground. Recharge: 20 seconds. "Let's distribute these stat points. I have 40." He ponders at the stat menu. "Let's apply 5 points to Phys. Atk, 15 to Phys. Def, 5 to A/A, 10 to speed and 5 to Stamina. That should work."
"All of this is amazing. Looking forward to find a few opponents. Actual players, but one day at a time." He closes his menu and lays back first against a thick branch on a tree. "Time for a litlle rest." He says as he closes his eyes.
Michael smiled a bit as he saw all the different players in the fields fighting. It was amazing, he never thought this could be possible in his lifetime, but here he was playing the very game he wished for for so long. "Alright let's get down to business!" He told himself then pulled out his beginner sword and ran into the fields to find something to fight. Eventually he found exactly what he wanted, several boars, luckily there wasn't many people in the area he was in now so he could farm nice groups of monsters without getting interrupted. He took on one boar at a time, easily beating them, although not without a bit of damage. But once he finished off the group he had managed to level up twice. So he opened up his stats and skills menu and took a moment to decide that he'd put five pints in Physical attack and Physical defense then put four in speed and the rest in stamina. He smiled a bit as he hit confirm then went to check his skills. He had a decent amount of points to spend but wasn't sure what to use them on. So he took a few moments to decide that he wanted to save up some more points and maybe gain some more levels to get some better skills. He then closed the menu, finalizing everything he picked, and went deeper into the fields wondering if anyone would be there already.
Thaddeus seemed as if he were soundly asleep with the headgear equipped. His grandmother wandered into the room, smiling as she turned the light off and wandered back towards the stairs. Her cane helped movement greatly.

Song In My Head: POAH Wandering around the field, Nox spotted a clearing between a hill, and a flatland descent beyond that. Atop the hill was a sort of sign, implying that a town was nearby. He raised his brows before taking some steps towards the direction opposite of it. If a town is that way, then the mobs are the other way... He thought, before the sudden surprise attack of a boar. Violently, it charged at his side with its tusks outspread, but he barreled to the side. A weak display of his weak agility, but it was convenient for escape. Nox quickly shifted upwards, removing his sword from its away-position and rushing towards the Level 2 Boar which barely uttered a second chance to look at him before he performed an upwards slash between its mid-section, then a downwards stab into the head, which caused the Boar to shriek like any pig would, then dissipate, leaving nothing but a small pouch of coins. He glanced down at it, opened up his item menu, and examined it. I've got a hundred coins... and I just obtained ten... Alright. This is definitely going to be an interesting experience; I've never felt more alive playing a game... Before he could respond, another boar charged from the side, nicking his leg with one of the tusks, violently He groaned, actually feeling some of the pain of his leg being sliced. "Agh!" He yelped, before he shifted around the other direction, bringing the blade to a plunge deep into the boar's head when it shifted back for a second charge. He ripped the blade upwards as hard as he could, tearing the sword from the boar's skull. He lost ten HP from the attack, but it could have been worse. Then, it got worse. Suddenly, a pack of four boars charged towards him, his eyes widening in surprise of the sudden attack. "What the-- Ah!" he shouted, as he jumped upwards to dodge the first boar, using the second boar, which charged at the same time as the first, as a foot stool to avoid the others.
The third boar began to growl at him, and he shook his head, steadying himself for the next attack. Two boars charged him once more, from different directions, so he barrel-rolled out of the way, allowing the boars to charge into each other. When they did so, they hit each other at full-pace, slamming their heads together and creating a ripple of confusion and stun between them. The other two boars snorted before they realized what had happened to their other companions. During this period, Thaddeus swiftly ran around the confused boars, towards the other two, performing a sliding slash across one of the unstunned boar's heads, then aggroing the other unstunned boar to force it to charge at him. But he quickly rolled out of the way, causing it to slam into the stunned boars. Sheesh! The wounded boar which was slashed had been slashed near its eyes, giving it trouble to see. It rushed around frantically, charging into the rest of the boars, conveniently. As soon as that occurred, Thaddeus rushed towards the quad, sending numerous slashes throughout the entire group. Before he knew it, there were two more small pouches of coin on the ground. He panted lightly.
He noticed the black cloud that appeared over him, and glanced upwards to notice the 'Level Up' words appear, then fade out. Suddenly, a menu appeared in front of him, asking if he wanted to turn the Pain Receptors into a lower state, or off in general. ... They simulated pain to be transmitted to your brain? That's weird... He tuned it downwards to a lower level, not shutting it off. That action would either turn out to be a regretful decision, or something that would make him stronger. Opening the skill menu, he realized that he had twenty points available for disposal into his stats, which made him smile. Five points were put into his agility/acrobatics, and the rest were put into his Stamina. What was that about...?He asked himself, before he noticed that the hill he stood near had a hole in the ground. He slowly backed away from it, unsure as to whether he wanted to know what was in there or not, or whether the boars had been coming from that to attack him.
"Oh, there's so many more people here now. It's like every time I blink there's another person." he yawned. He looked to the fields to see a male character skillfully handling Boars. "A bit dancey for me, but I like the way he moves." he said as he approached the man. He got close enough and used the Observe option on the character. "Excuse me, Mr. Nox?" he called out. He slowly approached him and stood a respectable distance. "I like the way you handled those Mobs. Care to do some Grinding? You're a new character like me, right?" he smiled. Hectic decided he needed to find a party sometime soon. Like a group of people who could compensate for his weaknesses and he could do the same for them.
"With both of us, we should be able to take on the Mob Boss. Judging by how these games go it shouldn't be any higher than level 10." he said extending his hand for a friendly greeting. A few Boar invaded the area attacked Hectic. "Guh!" he muttered. "Whoo! Good thing for Wood Skin, huh." he laughed. He held the Boar in place with his left arm and hand as he placed his stance wide. He exhaled and raised his right fist. "Iron Fist!" he shouted. His fist began to glow a light orange and he crashed it into the Boar. The Boar disappeared and dropped...nothing. "What again?! Gah! If these things don't drop coins for me I'll never be able to buy anything." he rubbed his head frantically. He looked back to Nox. "Heh, sorry about that. So what do you say? Team up with this noob and take on some baddies?" he offered his hand out again.
Blaze heard the loud sound of thumping approaching her now. She turned her head in the direction of the noise, waiting to see the source. In no less than 5 seconds, 2 large beasts appeared, charging after her. A level 6 or higher, she assumed. She always loved a challenge. She drew her sword and waited for them to get closer. Once they reached her, she struck, attacking their assumed weak spots. They both dropped after a short fight, gaining her a large amount of experience. A small ping had appeared, signifying her leveling up. She was level 5 now. Perhaps it was time for her to start leveling up again, after all, she didn't want to get left behind.
Blaze spent almost an hour leveling up her avatar, making her pull ahead quite far. Of course, with each level up it was harder to gain experience, especially since she had been challenging monsters in such a low leveled area. After entering her new points into her stats, she took a look around the area. New players were popping up quite often, making her realize that she must have looked weird being a level 10 in a newbie area. She sighed and began to leave the field, heading towards the towns.
Michael smiled a bit as he finished off a bit more training. He had been deeper in the fields so he was able to get even more experience when the bigger enemies came at him. Unfortunately though more people were starting to come deeper in as well. So a lot of the enemies would be hard to attack without being interrupted or someone stealing the kill, plus he was getting less and less experience due to his leveling. Because of this Michael decided that it would be a good idea to go back to the town and see what he could buy. So after assigning his points where he wanted he started walking back. On his way he noticed someone with at level 10. He smiled a bit and thought that she would be a great partner, though he doubted she would even want to. If she had she probably wouldn't be alone or that high leveled. "Hey!" He called out to her as he ran over to her.
Blaze paused as she heard a sudden call towards her. She looked around to confirm whether the voice was directed to her or not, locating a male that looked about her age nearby. Another player, she assumed, whose level was not far from her own. She watched him for a moment, wondering what exactly it was that he needed. She had been invited into teams and stuff before by strangers who recognized her around the game, but she this boy didn't look like he was already part of a team. "Yes?" she answered, waiting to hear what he said. Blaze glanced at her clock, checking to see how much time she had left to kill. Her parents didn't care what she did, but they did care if she trashed their family name. Which meant getting to school on time every day, no excuses.
Michael smiled a bit hearing the girl. "I just saw that you're a little bit higher in levels compared to the rest of us and I was wondering if you'd like to join me in going into one of the nearby dungeons soon?" He asked wanting to see if she'd even be willing to do that first. "It think it would be even better training than in the deeper fields. But I don't think it's a good idea to go alone." He said hoping to convince her a bit more.
Song In My Head: POAH Nox folded his arms and raised a brow as the white-haired man approached him. He curiously examined the man as he spoke, examing his features silently. He let out a let smirk when he said Mr. Nox, but that was it at first. He began to inspect the man, finding his name to be Hectic Wasteland. "... I'm three levels lower than you..." Nox replied, before approaching the man a little bit closer. He still kept his distance, and seemed rather quiet for a companion. He would have shaked the hand of the man, had it not been for more of those damnable Boar. He quickly removed the sword once more and prepared it to swing his blade downwards, lopping off the head of a charging boar that had attempted to rush Hectic, but didn't get the chance to. Him being busy with the other Boar, Nox decided he'd ease the load. When he had finished off with his Boar, Nox had been patiently waiting with his arms crossed, and his blade stowed away. The Boars they had slain appeared to of dropped nothing. But, Nox was alright with that.
This might be worth it... "... Sure." Nox extended his own hand out this time, letting a slight smile etch across his face while he awaited the party invitation.
Haruka gripped her blade, there was 6 more people coming her way with one being a higher level than her. She could do this, she wasn't about to p***y out of something fun.She had gained 4 LVLs from that random guy's friends and she was in the mood for more. She easily caught the LVL 7 and sliced his left leg off, he screamed from the pain receptors and she laughed. She was fully healed now, nothing could stop the tingling feeling of adrenaline as she jumped and slashed down the middle of the LVL 7's body. She easily gained one level, she had no time to check her stats though. She twirled around the LVL 9, her black clothes and her growling wolf easily intimidating the LVL 9 despite their evenly matched skills. She cut his torso in half, her sharpened blade cutting easily through the digital bone as if it were cheese. She laughed, that was easily a critical and she was gaining levels by the second. She ran past the LVL 6's as they formed into a line for their next attack, one-hit killing them by slicing off their head by the neck. The sound of the 'Next Level' was ringing in her ears as she charged towards the LVL 11 Warrior. She ran towards him, jumping off his blade last minute before preforming 'Dark symphony', her notes cascaded on him as she dove back down to slash his torso. She had turned off the gore restrainer because what was the point, they were supposed to think of it as real life. She wiped the the blood off her face before walking down a lone path, she didn't bother with the blood on her clothes and body. She was panting slightly, she had used a lot of mana and stamina whilst destroying the party. Her scythe looked as if it had gone to hell and came out of a pool of her blood, her grip was slightly slippery so she rubbed some off with the grass. She was so calm and casual for looking such a sight, she opened her menu while walking, adding her points to her now LVL 16 character. She had managed some loot from them, she also had now a red flag to her name, this meaning she had won many PVP battles and was dangerous. She snorted at the sight of it, so much for keeping it down low. She stopped walking, she climbed on her pet railing behind and lay on her back. She was going to faint from such low stamina, her body was screaming from when the guy secretly stabbed her in the back. She needed bandages, she patted the wolf and spoke calmly despite her -10 HP every 2 minutes from blood loss."Take me to a healer. Now."
Blaze furrowed her brows as the boy had asked her to partner up. It was a strange request to ask. She had taken dungeons on alone before, it was the best way to level up. She silently contemplated the idea for a moment, thinking of the pros and cons. "Well... I work a lot better alone," she started, "and I was about to go to the towns too." She wasn't sure why she was so hesitant this time. Perhaps it was because the player looked strangely close to her in age. Well, that could have just been him altering his appearance. But part of her wondered what a team play would be like. She glanced at her clock again, checking to see how much longer she had. A few hours at most, and dungeons took a while depending on your level and speed. She let out a deep sigh and pulled up her menu, "Here. I'll friend you first." she said, sending him a request.
