Andre finally gets up and Ken is charging in. In a desperate effort to escape more pain for the moment, Andre ducks and attempts to launch him to the outside with a back body drop

perhaps Ken miscalculated, as instead of sending Andre over the top rope, he's launched over it instead. The crowd loves it, at least, as he lands hard on the floor outside and lays there, trying to catch his breath

Andre reached for his neck as soon as he launched Ken over the top and gave himself a moment to rest. But he can't let him rest for long. He has to beat the champion here tonight as he has his eyes set on that title in the near future. He steps out onto the apron and waits for Ken to stand to run across the apron and dive out after him with a canon ball senton

Ken isn't doing as well now as he had been earlier. Perhaps he'd gotten a bit too cocky. Getting to his feet, he turns and Andre crashes down on top of him with a senton that has the crowd on its feet and Ken on the ground again. Damn Damones and their ability to change the flow of a match in an instant

fortunately for Andre, the senton makes it easy to get back to his feet. If Ken thought this would be easy because Andre is a rookie, he's going to be sorely disappointed. Andre has two goals, to steal tonight's show and to beat Ken to get his shot at the Inter-Blaze championship. Now on his feet, he goes to pull Ken up and roll him into the ring, then hop onto the apron and springboard in with a splash into a pin attempt

Ken finds himself manuevered back into the ring and rolls to the center. All too soon, the pain continues as andre crashes down on him again and now the referee is making the count.
one....two...thr...
Ken kicks out, much to the dismay of the crowd. Andre moves a lot like his uncle, the DHW owner, and Ken has to switch his mindset from facing men larger than him to one the same size as him. He has to readjust from giant killer mindset to grounding a high flyer

Andre is quick to get to his feet after Ken kicks out. His focus is single minded in nature. He goes to pull Ken to his feet and whip him to the corner, then charge after him with a splash

pulled up yet again, this time Ken hurtles to the turnbuckle. He hits back first and leans against it. Andre charges in and Ken realizes he has a chance. Swinging his legs up and through the top and second rope, he shifts himself out onto the apron, leans back and swings both feet up, attempting to kick the charging Andre in the face

Andre is perhaps off a step, as Ken escapes his splash and kicks him in the face, making him stumble back several steps

Ken knows how to steal the show too, when he puts his mind to it. He is the best in DHW today, and he's going to prove it. Anything Andre can do, he can do better. Now on the apron, he looks to slingshot himself over the top rope with a cross body into a pin

Andre is already off balance and now Ken soars in over the top rope, taking him down with a cross body and putting him in a pinning situation.

Andre kicks out, to the cheers of the crowd. Clearly a game of one upsmanship has started

Andre kicked out, and that means Ken will just have to work a little harder. Then again, why not put him away now? It's early, but nothing makes a statement like putting down a would be challenger early in the match. He rises and goes to pull Andre up and drop him with the Heartstopper

Andre is pulled up, but not fully as his arms are hooked for Ken's heartstopper finisher. But Andre isn't going down like that, as he attempts to yank his arms free and pull Ken's legs out from under him, then roll into a jacknife pin

he kicks out just before the three count and rolls to his feet, then looks to meet Andre on the rise with a falling clothesline

andre almost had the champ beat again, and rolls to his feet after the kickout, only to nearly have his head taken off with a clothesline.
