Seeing that little bear come to life made the pink-haired senshi make a tiny delighted noise, and then she bent down to give the bear a hug. It felt good, to hold a stuffed animal again - especially one that could hug back.
"Thank you, Hugbell. And Barnaby." She said. The girl couldn't have known how much she needed this - simple comfort and a friendly conversation, and the promise of more. And maybe when she next saw Hugbell, they would be on the same side - but she didn't want to think that far ahead.
She set the bear down, and turned back to the mirror. "I'll come back again soon," she promised, and then she stepped through it and was gone.
