The most important thing to do was get this place some dang power--most definitely for the heater if nothing else. It was a welcome break from the constant island heat, though Dawson was shivering in no time: anything below sixty-five degrees Fahrenheit was enough to cause it. Still, it meant breaking out some winter gear early, and he struck a sight with the red plaid patterned hat covering his head and ears.
It's better than plumbing, he told himself. That'd have to come sooner or later...
