Odette tucked her hair carefully back into her hood, giggling softly at Reemus' compliments. Feeling slightly embarrassed from her distractions throughout the fight, she hardly thought she had shown much skill. Of course, her fighting style was radically different than the two, but she supposed she did well enough to prove she could hold her own. This particular fight required more brute force than delicate maneuvering, as it often did with drones.
She turned her attention down to the drone, watching their chest rise and fall with a satisfied smile. Reemus' questions made her turn back to Ganyma, who she had nearly forgotten to thank. She smiled softly at the tealblood. Unlike Reemus, she had little urge to question him. After all, this marked the third time the hulk extended his help to her. If that didn't warrant her trust, then what did?
She couldn't deny that she wasn't curious, though. Wasn't the army's attention on him? She was fairly certain that his circumstances cemented him on the side of the queen. So what had changed his mind?
But the other boy, he was a new face, too. Odette would have recognized him, otherwise. What had convinced him to join their cause? Were they both there for the same reason? The little redblood tilted her head to Reemus, laughing softly.
"I could say the same thing about you," she said, almost coy. She shifted her weight, testing her bad foot. Vremea's magic was quickly coming undone. Not wasting her time, she moved closer to Ganyma, taking soft steps in the mud.
"I'd like to hear both of your reasons," She explained, laying a gentle hand on Ganyma's arm. "But first, we need to move. We don't want to lose sight of the caravan." Odette smirked at herself. Since when had she learned how to act so confident, like an expected leader? She drew her cloak up over her cheeks, covering the blush creeping up her face.
