Lufti could see where Cassia was going the moment she spun the bow about. Lufti grabbed his own hair and jerked it over his throat. He partly managed to resist having his throat cut, but the string was still thin enough and firm enough to choke off his breath. Still looking as if nothing were at all wrong, Lufti kicked a foot up to try and crack Cassia in the face as he had meant in his earlier failed attack.

This man was infuriating her! It was obvious her own facade was cracking about the time he whipped his hair around again to try and keep the bowstring at bay. Growling a bit, she avoided the foot and simply aimed a headbutt down at him.

With a resounding crack of bone, Lufti felt a blinding light of pain in his head. The monks eyes blinked, then simply went limp in unconsciousness.
