Eriko nodded at his explanation, it made sense enough to her. She let the topic drop after that and ate on her meat, enjoying listing to Amira's and that Orange haired guy's conversation about cooking. Eriko smiled when her twin was asked how she cooked. "Ohhhhh, that's the fun part! It's all by memory, but I don't remember the recipe the 'normal' way, I remember by taste since I can't read or that." She said with a shrug. Amira didn't really care who knew and who didn't know she was illiterate it was so common for one a slave for so long that it was pretty much common knowledge once one knew the girl's were slaves for almost as long as they remembered.

Amira took another bite as Kit said he could teach her to read. She shrugged; she could try learning even if it didn’t work out at least she’d tried. “T That would be nice… Too.” She agreed quietly as she took another bite if her food. Eriko looked as her sister when she said that, it was like Amira to try anything at least once. Eriko looked over as the question was directed toward her, she shrugged. “I can make out a word here and there, but not really, and even that is just guessing.” She shrugged. When they were kids masters preferred her, and so she picked up on a lot more, but as the twins got older Eriko protected Amira more and more and eventually Amira was preferred for her calmer and innocent personality, so she kind of gave up on trying to teach herself, or her sister how to read. “It’s not needed anyway, so what’s the point of trying to learn.” She added, causing Amira to look at her, opening her mind Amira send Eriko calming thoughts knowing her sister was annoyed about something.

Eriko listened to what Kit had o say, but she didn't show so in till after he was finished and she spoke. "and tell me, what's the point in even looking at those things when you're bound by rules. The only price tag that matters is the one on your cage. And even when you do go places there's pictures, or it doesn't matter either way. As for books, there's never time to read them even if I wanted to." She said, her ears pinned back annoyed, being uneducated always bothered her, but she had convinced herself she didn't need it. The girls didn't take long to finish their food either and were soon ready to go as well, as the two guys stood the girl's did as well.

Eriko shrugged, "that's you, and with all due respect, you're a free man. I'm a slave, master's frown on a slave trying to read, they say it's a useless pass time when we could be doing something useful." She countered.

Once in the car the girl's sat next to each other in the back seat, if they ever let go of the other's hand the men wouldn't have caught it. While in the car Eriko leaned her head on Amira's shoulder, Amira smiled and gently played with her sister's hair as they rode in the car. Though Eriko appeared lazy on the outside, Amira knew that her sister was just really tired from the day's events. But even with Amira playing with her hair Eriko didn't dare slip into sleep.

Eriko dropped the issue of reading, not minding Amira learning but she’d already decided as a child she wouldn’t waste her time on anything useless. Besides, for her, sometimes not knowing is better than knowing. As she leaned on her sister Eriko looked out the window, both girls quite as they took everything in. At the announcement of arriving to the house Eriko nodded slightly and sat up straight again. She was reaching for the door handle when the car door swung open. She nodded and scouted out, Amira following. “Thank-you” The white haired girl said with a sweet smile toward Jay. The girls took a couple moments to take in their surroundings. “It’s a- amazing.” Amira breathed, Eriko nodding quietly in agreement.

Amira was still taking everything in when Eriko started leading her to the door, Jay leading the way for both of them. Amira loved being outside taking everything in, but Eriko was quite happy staying inside given the choice. Any words spoken were lost on Amira as she walked replying on her twin to guide her, Eriko however heard and sighed, anywhere outside was “amazing” to Amira. Eriko shrugged when asked if there was anything she wanted to do, while Amira blinked a couple times returning to the present, she shook her head but then remembered. “I Is there any way we could r rest?” She asked, politely, hiding slightly behind her twin as her boldness running out and she slowly retreaded to the safety of her twin.

The twins followed Jay down the hall to the bedroom, they looked in the room, nodding to what he was saying, the room was really nice compared to what they were used to, though many people would complain it was too simple, to the twins it was really nice looking. Amira nodded when he mentioned the second room. “Thank-you, w we only need o one room.” She said studding a bit. Eriko nodded in agreement as she walked in the room, pulling Amira behind her. The two girls had never spent a night separated and were all but joined at the hip, so their told. When the door closed Eriko sighed and laid on the bed, patting the spot next to her as Amira got in as well, they both fell asleep almost instantly as they were super tired, and the bed was super comfortable after being in that hard, solid cage for so long. Though she was sleeping Eriko’s ears remained alert, constantly scanning for danger, or someone approaching.

Amira nodded when he told her where they'd be and closed the door behind her as he left. She wasted no time in joining Eriko in the bed, smiling as her twin quickly fell asleep. Though Amira wasn't too far behind.

The two girls slept well that night, the nightmares that played Eriko so often didn't bother her during her nap, and Amira wasn't up worrying about her sister's horrible dreams. Eriko held her twin,prospectively in her sleep, how they'd slept since their 3rd master beat Eriko, trying to force her into submission. In her sleep Eriko's tail,and ears twitched calmly in her sleep.
