"YOU GOT AN EGG!" Alette squealed, jumping up and down excitedly - which was probably not the best idea, since there were still raptors screeching at her and she was in danger of either being eaten or dropping her egg altogether. "LOOK YOU DID IT THAT'S SO COOL I'M SO PROUD OF YOU, EGG BUDDY!"

"Egg-five!" Merope shouted, holding out his egg towards Alette. Then he yelped and jerked the egg up and away from the raptor that tried to jump on it. "M-maybe another time!" He said quickly, "Or not, since ramming two eggs together might not be a good idea and could you stop that!"
Merope swung his tail like a club, attempting to smack a raptor out of the way.

"YAYYYYYYY!" Alette yelled, and ran towards him - and probably would have given Merope the egg five he wanted, were it not for the fact that a bunch of raptors were swooping towards them and, well, smashing two eggs into one another was probably a bad idea.
Probably.
Alette smacked her arm into the nearest raptor; it gave a squeal and then toppled over, much to her surprise.
"I DID IT I HIT THE THING."

"Hey!" Wait, he didn't know her name. "Spooky!" No wait, he didn't know her well enough to call her that! "Uh! Girl!" Now he was being rude. "Egg-buddy-friend!" Okay, that was acceptable. "Good job! Let's get outta here!"
He held the egg above his head as he ran, running towards the giant waterfall. With a shout of glee, Merope dove into the water and jumped head-first down the waterfall, landing with a splash back at camp.

"MY NAME'S ALETTE!" she yelled happily, although she did kind of like egg-buddy-friend. "Yes, let's, I'm so tired of having to carry this thing everywhere!"
And with a giggle and a laugh, she leapt over the waterfall with her New Friend, splashing around for a minute before she arrived safely back at camp.
