Finally, faptor defeated, he jumped down a waterfall.

How he was not harmed from the fall? No one would ever know. Somehow he made it, and beat the horsemen with the attitude problem back too.

Ahriman made a faint scoffing noise at the blurry shape of the fox-creature that had previously barely managed to climb the hill. But if the universe saw fit to send such a scruffy beast to strike down his enemies, who was he to argue?

Ahriman strung himself as far down the waterfall as he could manage before leaping, still holding onto the egg as if it were a delicate prize. Aside from a few bumps and scratches, it was quite pristine.
