REBEL FRONTRUNNER This was it! Luxara was out and fighting the good fight. More importantly, the setting was much more familiar to her than an arid desert. Trees and muck set her at some level of ease for the time being. The best setting for stealth. The best setting for success.
Luxara found herself pretty excited to be on this ragtag crew. As far as she was aware, there was no such thing as a bad team, and everyone seemed to know how to pull their weight despite the harsh battle fatigue. Watching the redblood especially fueled some of her adrenaline. She wasn't used to seeing unfamiliar trolls who could adapt so well to whatever nature threw at them. It was beautiful.
However, She couldn't help but smile at Aerona's slip-up. Moss: balance's tiny terror. Then the redblood started to talk to them as a group. Interesting that the introductions started now, of all times, when they were in the middle of the mission. Better late than never, she had to guess.
The small greenblood opened her mouth to reply, but Forera cut her off. Luxara gave the tealblood a skewed glance. Having For on the team was...well, she wasn't sure. One avoidable betrayal left a bad taste in her mouth. Knowing what she did, Luxara made a mental note to avoid needing to rely on her bestie much for this mission.
"Yeah, that's me! Luxara. Nice to meet you guys! I think we've got this in the bag; it's just a matter of avoiding some things, I think. Too bad we can't just run through the trees or something." She shrugged. "I think when it comes to codenames, we should avoid our actual names just in case? Who knows who might be listening, right? Would it be safer to go off of our symbols or something based off of that, or something?"

ROYALIST VANGUARD "You're... glad?" She said rather surprised, even more that she was actually listening to the other. Sure he interrupted her train of thoughts as they walked but at least she could respond him. Eridia sighed and crossed her arms. "What you just said makes no sense to me at all." She shook her head. How was it possible he was glad the couldn't cull? "Azrael, we are not dealing with trolls. We're dealing with monsters, vigilantes even! Tons of drones got hurt because of them, we could've died back there... Lovedad could've died." She nearly choked on her words as she said that. Eridia cleared her throat and looked at the path they had taken, eyes fixed at their surroundings rather than him. "It... pissed me off he called off the culling. Such signs of weaknesses gog. That was the only way we could avoid the spread of their ideals." Eridia stretched, justice was what she wanted, she wished to see the rebels punished for their wrongdoings. Sure it their fault they followed orders from a mutant and even more listen to their words. "Just for the record, I've never done it myself. Even if I sound like that is as delightful as pie." The child paused once more. Thinking if they could still exterminate them, would she do it with her own hands? That was a thought she had to put on hold. "That... That'll be impossible Rael." She snickered lightly, knowing she didn't use his codename, she resumed following her instincts. "Next time, try not cutting off mid-way your sentences ok? That'll only make me wonder what you're thinking." The child said rather plainly. "If there's something you wanna say then say it. I can't stop you Corporal."

ROYALIST VANGUARD Azrael visibly recoiled from her sharp reproach of his ideals and he went quiet for the time being. "Well, I mean, I was ready for it earlier in the day, but when it happened in front of me, I realized.... everyone is fragile, what if.... instead of going to kill them, I was the one killed instead?" He pulled his hands out of his pockets and clung to the blood stains on his coat. "And on top of that, our society is just as fragile, too many dead.... if the mother grub is killed, what will happen then?" He continued. Maybe she didn't understand, but who else was he going to tell. "If we keep just destroying each other all the time, then we're just going to go extinct from infighting. What if, there is a reason for their actions?" He was now in his own little world again as he talked,
"For every action there is a motive, for every motive there is a choice, Or at least, that's what I've come to think," at this point he was staring straight ahead playing with the hem of his jacket. "They haven't killed the mother grub, I wish to be able to question them," Azrael was visibly excited over the idea, much more excited over this than the idea of killing them. "What if, there is more to this than meets the eye and we can reason with them?" he shook his head and looked at her with a sheepishly. "But.... I'm not right in the head, obviously, so what I think doesn't matter, this is very treacherous thinking which is why I said never mind," He shrugged and continued watching his path as at sprawled out before him until something caught his eye.
"I'll.... be right back Eridia, I want to check this out...." He said a little louder than his usual tone and trotted off.

ROYALIST VANGUARD "Nature always finds another way to keep itself on life support." Eridia rolled her eyes, the possibilities were endless yes but it didn't happen. Did he got scared? Everyone did, at their own perspective of course, yet they got out of there alive, even their guardians. "Y'know? I like picturing things like that. The possibility of one's life ending, what would've happen you ask? Well in your case, Scarfettle would definitely go into a rampage, you would've died with honors and I would've..." What would she do if he had died? Eridia went silent, she didn't know exactly what to say. Again, there were just too many outcomes. Out of the corner of her eyes, the child noticed Azrael looked particularly... enthusiastic about all of this. The rebels, their purpose... What exactly did his train of thought carry? She wondered. "Well," The purpleblood breathed out. "Lovedad taught me that, for every action there is an equal and opposite reaction and frankly I dunno what are their intentions and clearly I'm not interested in them." She said bitterly, examining his sheepishly look rather surprised. Maybe he wasn't that much of a deadpan. Eridia stood there, mouth agape. Where was the deadpan she enjoyed teasing? She clenched her fists and looked at the way Azrael took. Surely, it's something booooring.
"Hey, comeback here! You can't just tell me what to do!" She shouted and went after him. "HEY! YOU DID YOU EVEN LISTEN TO ME? RAEL! UGH! RAEL!"

ROYALIST VANGUARD Azrael breathed a sigh of relief. He didn't so much mind the company, but he was feeling a little bit exhausted from everything. Well, it wasn't like he'd lied about seeing something interesting, he just thought that this looked like the most likely way the rebels would have gone to throw off captors. He just needed a breather, but he heard Eridia shout so she was going to be there on his heels very soon from the sound of it. No doubt she was going to pound him when she caught up. Azrael was fine with that, he had been a bit on the insubordinate side the entire time they had met up again. Some servant he was, well he did do what he thought was best for her survival at least. He looked around for any sign that the rebels had been there at all.
Rael? she was shouting at him? or for him? He would have shouted back but worried that maybe it might alert their targets, so just waved his arms in the air so that she could see him.
