The raptor lounged at him again but Carlos got to it first.
The second one was hissing in the background looking for a shot at the egg.

With one final scratch Carlos downed the one raptor. The other raptor let out a cry and rushed to it's fallen comrade's aid.
Carlos took this moment to escape. "My egg! Bye bye!"

Carlos was being followed. There was a cliff. Without thinking he launched himself off the cliff and fell free falling. Unfortunately, Carlos being a ghost had a sudden bought of intangibility. He dropped the egg mid way down.
Carlos landed on his feet. The egg did not. Carlos checked it over. Ok the egg was still good. He patted it and walked off with his new eggy friend.
