The 'smaller' Nega went down before she could react much, and Subra wished, with all her heart, she could have her bow with her as Subra. But she wasn't good with it yet, and she wasn't even sure it was something she COULD do. When she did start to move, others came rushing in, the chibi's eyes going wide. Oh. OH. KNIGHTS! Help! She took a deep breath, feeling bolstered by others being there and let it out quickly.
"The Nega that's down tried to save me. Refused to do what the other one said." She looked a bit confused at the snow leopard [was it a guardian, like Horatio? or something different?], but otherwise...she was seeing a use for her magic, FINALLY. The more people involved, the better it would work. And maybe...maybe they could save the 'Pie' lady.

Digging deep inside, she fought to find the strength to rally and pull herself off the ground. Fact was she just wasn't in any shape to do such physical fighting. The measure of managing what she had was fueled by will power alone. Conviction and the drive to protect that young lady was all that pushed her to keep trying.
Though as she was about to pull herself over and practically turn herself into a blanket over Sudra; she felt the arrival of others. She felt them getting closer and arriving. She hadn't met powered knights before. Well, she had one, but she hadn't been powered. Still, she recognized the one with the blue etchings on his skin. Her eyes recognized the person she came across in a dark alley recently.
It made her consider that she had actually been making preparations. Now those might never happen if she can't get out of this mess alive. The arrival of the second person made her wanna take advantage of all that was going on. She was just about to try and roll off and away when that kick came down on her from the general's boot.
Piemontite gasped with anguish as the compounding hits were making it hard to take more of them. She froze for a moment hoping that Schorl would maybe take a different stand or move away from her.
She glared at the pair of knights. "Won't someone get her out of here? This is no place for her." Her hand motioning towards Sudra not realizing the little chibi might able to contribute to what was going on. Come whatever may after this, but if she could just be sure the girl was safe; she could accept the rest.
Her mind working to figure something out, she peeked up at the general's poise. Could she kick her or grip her leg and make her fall on the ground? The attempts to move her arms though made every nerve in her back scream.

Babylon nodded. "Stay with Reut," he told Subra. "She'll protect you in case anyone tries to get the jump on you." For about two minutes, anyway. A minute and a half, now, andShan he wasn't sure if the magic could be directed like that - but he was going to keep this kid safe, and sending a chibi away from a learning experience that might have been well in hand was a bad idea. A negaverser who turned on a superior placed themself in a very precarious position, one where the only way out was usually purification.
And there was never a better time than the present to teach kids about the wonders of royal crystals. So: A knight and a squire against a general, even with a youma in tow? Bring it on.
"Shangri-la," he said, nodding to the squire. "I think the lady gave us an invitation."
Knowing that no one could stick a hand inside his chest and pull out his starseed had made Babylon a fair deal bolder in fights. "Secure the lieutenant," he said. "If that cane's just a cane, I'll eat my cape."
He'd fought generals before. He knew what kind of heat they packed. "Keep her hands away from your chest. Let's go."
Lantern swinging, he charged towards the general.

Shang didnt remember at first the general he'd met on the rooftop one night long ago, but being called a roddy-pigeon was a good memory jog. He sighed and gripped his weapon more tightly.
The words of the chibi had him moving closer to stand in front of the lieutenant, though the words of the lieutenant fell on deaf ears. As much as he didn't like the idea of a young child fighting, he knew her magic might be useful at some point and it one was to leave it left the other to square with the general and the youma.
He didn't move fast enough as the general kicked the lieutenant, but it served to make Shang jump fully in front of the lieutenant, his weapon raised and looked to Babylon as he spoke. He gave a firm nod before looking to the lieutenant behind and back to Babylon.
"I'm sure I'll be fine," he said hoping that was the truth.. He'd had a hand in his chest before and he wouldnt like to repeat it.
When Babylon charged Shang was right behind him, his weapon raised and ready, thought he try to keep himself in the direct path of the lieutenant and would take care not to get thrown or knocked back to far.
Schörl grinned as the glowing knight charged. The lantern, wielded as a weapon, a lantern could be very effective. It was essentially a flail-family derivative. Like a single-headed dai chui. Can oil spill out o fit and catch things on fire? Chain not long for power or tangling.
She stepped and turned, aiming with her cane at the lantern itself to knock it's trajectory further afield in her dodge. The point was to keep both knights in a line, in one direction, and not give them the opportunity to get on opposite sides. Her second hand moved to the communicator in her breast inside pocket, activating, "Calling agents near the Wyatt District. It's time to play. General, out."
Barbary leapt, a silent black parachute in the dark, aiming to tangle with rival leopard.

Moonstone had a civilian against a wall, unconscious while she drained his energy, when her communicator went off. The voice was unmistakable, the message irresistible. It's time to play. Oh yes!
The dark-eyed Captain let the man drop bonelessly to the cement and tucked the energy ball away before teleporting to the General's location and calling Wasgo out from the Rift. She couldn't very well keep her beloved pet from a playdate, now could she? Upon arrival, she took in the tableau like it were a feast spread before her. Knights and senshi and a battered lieutenant, oh my!
Instead of waiting, she whistled and muttered a command to Wasgo, sending the massive sharkdog youma to intercept Shangri-la and keep him away from Schörl. The youma roared and lunged between General and Squire, ready to savage the red-head with massive teeth. "What an excellent playdate you've arranged, General. My thanks." Moments later, Moonstone's hands filled with her totem bat and she lept for her target, leaving the glowing Knight to the General while she and her pet got some exercise.
Subra wasn't going to go far from the snow leopard, like the Knight with the large aura had told her, but she wasn't going to let herself be useless, either. Frowning, she tried to take stock of the situation. The nice Nega was down, the bad Nega had been joined by another one, and there were now two youma. But with the bigger Chaos problems distracted...
She focused inside, reaching for that magic that was all hers, and whispered the three words to focus it. "Subra's Silent Stalk." And she focused it on Pie, hoping to allow the nicer Nega a chance to get away from the bad one. Or a way to fight back. She wasn't sure. She just wanted to help.
And then she was quick to scramble for something that would make her more of a threat, especially up against things with a bigger aura than her. A stick or a trash can lid or something...
A chunk of concrete would work well. She just needed to decide who it was best to chuck it at.

With a snarl and a flash of claws, the snow leopard leapt towards the attacking youma. She was a good kitty. A strong kitty. She was going to do what Babylon had said and keep this baby senshi safe by getting the youma away from her!
In theory. In reality, Reut tangled with Barbary and disappeared as soon as the youma's teeth sank into her flesh. At least the chibi senshi had been spared the blow.
Across the battlefield, Babylon felt the loss of his summons. Hopefully, he thought, Subra recognized the leopard's sacrifice for what it was - a chance for her to escape to safety. It wasn't as though he could look back and check right now. Not when he needed all his wits about him to fight this general.
(And let's be real with ourselves: Babylon had never been the most combat-oriented knight.)
The general's deflection worked, sending Babylon's attack - and Babylon - in an odd direction. The knight stumbled awkwardly to keep his balance. Schorl was clearly the stronger combatant, and he was going to need every advantage he could get.
Turning back towards the general, he ghosted his fingers over his ring and wrapped the aspect of Mercury around himself. If she couldn't read his movements as well, perhaps her counters would become sloppier.
Babylon swung the lantern forcefully - maybe he could get lucky and make this quick.

ASPECT OF MERCURY: A Mercury Knight's form becomes staticy / glitchy in appearance, as if they were products of the advanced technology that is their planet's pride and joy. This enables them to blend in with their surroundings slightly: opponents have trouble seeing them if they are standing still, and their movements can be difficult to read in close combat.
Babylon can use his aspect for a total of ten minutes.
What he'd been expecting when he let the combination of energy signtures draw him in, he wasn't sure, but he didn't much care either... not when he caught enough of a glimpse to identify one of the Chaos signatures.
Moonstone was unfamiliar, someone he might have seen once in passing at Negaverse 'meetings' but no one he'd been close enough to identify (though he took note of her impressive weapon.)
It was a shock of whiteblonde hair and a familiar and terrible Youma however, that really caught his attention, and made the Bull of Mars, so to speak... See red.
Last time they'd clashed he'd been at a powerful disadvantage, and he was still wearing the scars to prove it. This time, however, he was at full energy.
Anyway he had an excuse. Babylon was in danger. A Chibi was in danger. Just... there was danger. That was enough of an excuse right? That and everything she'd done absolutely justified the fantasy in his mind of Asterion crushing Schörl between his hooves and horns right?
Maybe not but he'd deal with the morals of it later
The burning bull flared to life with a burst of light in the dark, as though someone had lit a bonfire, one that pawed the ground and tossed it's head.
"Asterion." Kairatos snarled, pointing a finger at Schörl. "Charge!"
The furious Bull of Mars would follow his summon into battle, but the Bull was likely to get there first. Just in time, he figured, to curb stomp whatever Asterion didn't take care of. He could find out what the hell had set this off after he dealt with that... that woman and her mind games. He'd leave her with a few reminders of her own damnit.
Quote:
Summons Creature: A large bull (Not larger than a horse just broad and heavy) with blood red fur, dark eyes, and surprisingly delicate legs and a prancing gait out of place with it's heavy barrel of a torso and long sharp horns. It doesn't seem to corner well at full speed... but on the other hand... it's on fire. Summons Ability: Large in part the only thing magical about this creature appears to be summoning it, as it's fur seems to be coated in some kind of burning oil to which the creature appears to be immune. It runs fast, but being top heavy, may roll over and crash into things if it has to take a sharp corner. It can't jump particularly high, but you might want something taller than a car to get away from it. It will relentlessly attack the nearest powered subject with hostile intentions toward Kairatos when summoned, until it's summon energy plays out. It can be summoned again in 24 hours regardless of whether or not it catches it's target or just does unfortunate amounts of property damage. The damage it does is burning/bashing, and Kairatos is not immune. ((Under orders it will likely go for Schorl first, but may change opponents based on the ability to sense hostility. It lasts 45 seconds.))

Yep that's a great battleplan. Send the -giant burning angry animal- into a situation you haven't figured out. Excellent tactical planning. It's very you, Kai.

Shang's initial charge was thwarted when the general knocked Babylon astray resulting in Shang have to shuffle out of his way to avoid being hit. He realized what she was doing and figured they needed to get around them somehow. He didn't really get the chance to figure it out though as the general called for backup and he found himself facing of with crazy looking youma and a woman something akin to a native american warrior, he supposed.
He was quick to lash out at the youma, flipping his Asclepius rod around and wielding it like a small sword. He slashed hard at the youma with the metal rod hoping to knock it astray.
He was wary of attemping to fight both the nega and the youma at the same time, but he didn't at the moment seem to have a choice in the matter. He looked back at the lieutenant and the chibi girl quickly.
"Stay on your guard and get away if you can," words of caution, a warning even before his attention was refocused again.
Barbary's tail lashed, it's target vanishing as fast as battle had be met. The other creature that had felt of so much delicious energy was just gone and there was nothing but the taste of disappointment and city air left and the heavy, parachute-like creature settled all four paws on the flat. There were small, ashing lines along its shadowy underside from claws that hadn't persisted long enough. Barbary scratched the roofing substrate with long claws in frustration and a pantomimed roar that had no sound at all. Then it's head quirked, like a clock face that started a revolution on its axis instead of the hands turning. Luminous eyes turned on the brilliant star nearby. She was small and bright and full of the flavor of light. Her magic was tendrils of taste on the air. If the cat was gone, the little senshi would do as well and taste the better.
Simultaneously, a lantern was connecting hard at the wrong angle and moment to deflect. The impact shivered along the General's block, and in the second splintered the thin weapon while dragging out two strips of flesh from along the back of her white hand like a re-invented potato peeler. Another challenger appears- Knight. That noise?
Distinct trumpeting and lowing mixed that wasn't particularly like any noise she'd heard a predator make. And it was louder and louder by the passing fractions of seconds. Her eyes shifted as the arc of impact bottomed out and the first of the blood started welling up into the hollows in her hand, peripheral catching the tongues of flame in the dark. Someone had brought their emotional baggage and beef to the rooftop. People could not outrun Bulls that weren't on fire, as many street races proved year in and year out. Magical people and magical bulls were another matter. The source of the magic wasn't far behind and predictable- a bull valentine from the Bull of Mars.
How virile. How thoughtful. Schörl had time to forward step in slightly closer to Babylon and into a waltzed turn that narrowed her frame from broad to sideways as the creature's mass drew near and passed her. She was not crushed, trampled or thrown, but the oiled flank drew across the entirety of the full-skirt of her coat. The thick fabric drank both the accelerant and the flames, catching alight in the out-swing of the continued steps to complete the arc and bring her behind the trajectory of the beast.
There was nothing for it- the General continued the whorl, dropping the remnants of the dragon and flourishing off her coat to be an imaginary dancer under her lead. Or a impromptu matador de toros. Whether the now flaming coat-c**-capote de brega was for Babylon, Kairatos, or Asterion would be determined in a breath yet. No other immediate signatures showing for Negaverse favor. Piemonite was languishing useless about on the ground. She will not help as she should. Traitor, she will turn her true yellows now and go crawling up their legs like piss following capillary action. Two knights? Can I whether two knights and a bull? A broken weapon too frail for true combat. My hands? Lethal enough...but that damn bull. The flames reach the waist buttons.
Attrition of energy to little tasks, but enough had to be left over to retreat if need proved. She wasn't near enough because of her danced-dodge to try to press any of them and the bull had enough time already to pivot. Schörl focused pinpoint and vanished, haunting blink on flank of Babylon to chuck her burning coat at him. "Stop, drop and roll, Fuzzy."
Knights press her this round to get hits in and prove this is a losing battle, and she'll call a retreat with Moonstone my next post.
