One more flick of his tail and there was a whole other turkey to carry around. It looked steak-like enough as it was, but Remi had been doing some weird thing holding it over a fire. First eating, now sacrificing steaks on an altar?

Aymet held up his charred piece of meat. He'd mimed Remi more or less exactly on the strange fire ritual. The meat just looked a little less bloody, which was disappointing. He was sure they just wanted the nice, raw bits and not something that had nearly CAUGHT FIRE, so he pocketed the sacrificial steak and carried the totally raw turkey back.
