Field of DreamsMolly heard what Dakota was saying, in that weird far off underwater way, but her mind went else where for a moment. The voice of Miss Clarice over the intercom was finally permeating that panic that had set in on top of fatigue. It made her heart clench in sadness as any thing regarding the late Life Assistant did, but it also reminded her-- "MY CANON CATS!"Came the shrill shriek from the Mist Hunter, her freckled hands nothing short of clawing her own face as she realized the implications of the Life Labs being attacked. Molly shot off then, moving fast despite her larger frame.

Infirmary
Noemi had been reading to one of the patients in the ward, thumbing through the long story that had been in the patients room. She was about to call it a day when the explosion hit, sending her spiraling over the patient as....a ring spread through her ears.
She pushed herself up from the man, as the sensors flickered left and right, his moniters winking in and out in. The cracked screens showed him stable for now, but the after effects....She could smell smoke, the ringing messing with her stability. She pushed open the door as people screamed and shouted. Orders flew everywhere.
She opened the door, unhooking the man and setting his bed on rolling. His IV bag was set on his side as she shoved with all her strength to move him out of the room.
"Don't worry, I got you.." She whispered down at him, and once she had him outside, placed the wheels on a firm stop. Then she was back into the infirmary, gathering whatever supplies she could. Something felt wet, and she lifted her hand to her forehead...small drip of blood, just a laceration. She'd be okay.
"Bring them over here!" She spread a hospital sheet on the ground, spreading bandages around her and started working on the more serious of wounds. So much blood.
"It's okay, It's okay." She murmured to a man brought to her, as she moved to sew the wound. She had a duty, this is what she had come to the infirmary for. In the rage of the storm, she felt the calm of a need. To protect, to hold on. She could do this.

DormsClaude lightly started, her eyes going wide, but her book remained in her hands as she looked towards the window. She then glanced at Cameron as the PSP fell on his face, the corner of her lips twitching briefly. "That's Queen to you, and in all likelihood, I'd need to be saved from Abbi instead of--" The announcement said Life Labs, and Lex flashed through her mind. The Sun trainee was off the bed, hastily pulling on her boots and grabbing her phone all in one motion. She dialed Lex, and pressed the phone to her ear as she shoved her foot into the last boot. Cameron was also about to be left in the dust as she whipped her door open and snapped around the corner. Carhop Cavalier Calling her bro to make sure he's okay

Field of Dreams
Dakota startled at Molly's scream. War cry? Battle Song?
Cannon Cats? How could she...what even....
"Molly, Focus, almost there." He lifted himself over the crumbles of the infirmary wall, covering his mouth. Dust, smoke and screams were all about. He wasn't even sure what part of the labs he was in.
Maybe he should've followed Molly, since she'd be on the path to her...99 cats.

Dorms
Cameron snorted. Princess. Forever a princess.
But she was up and out of the bed, with the pilot flying after her. Like Claude, he texted one person only and that was it.
She was whipping corners, but he was following right after her. Blessing for longer legs.
AyeAvast Text to Abbi: Please tell me you aren't in the infirmary. Otherwise you are a magnet for trouble.

Heading to Lab BuildingShu was in her room, preparing the stuff to bring to her night shift when the intercom announced the horrible news. Her simple mind couldn't get a whole picture on what had been happening but she caught the words "threat on island" and that rescue was needed at Life building. Thinking of Life, the image of two people immediately flashed by her mind. While dressing up, she tossed a text to the Morris, who might be inside the said building. Nothing Yet From: Shu To: Mimsy My Alice, are you alright? The Life building is being attacked. Please reply ASAP if you're safe. Flung to put the hunter coat onto her, she slid her feet into her boots, tapped a few times to make sure they fit in before she slammed the door and ran towards the building. She was shocked to see it, smokes and dusts fought to escape from any openings. Many questions went unanswered passed her mind as she dashed into it. Who attacked the building? Was it organized by O or it was the clones? Are the people inside safe? How bad is the destruction? Will it completely collapse? If so, how long do they have for the rescue? The small brain was stuffed with worries and concerns, she checked her phone, there was no new message. "Please reply, please." She pleaded at her phone. Don't take her home from her, don't take anyone from her again. lizbot I've no idea what to do with her.......direction?

Field of DreamsMolly followed suit after Dakota, but instead of making it over the crumbling wall, she instead ran into it--and then right through it. Her arms flailed like a wind mill as she tried to keep herself upright among the debris tripping her up. Now with a single purpose in mind, Molly had no awareness of anything else, and once she was sure on her feet she made a beeline for where the minis were kept, bobbing and weaving around debris and bodies. She made it to the Canon Cats container room, her hands pressing against the glass. Her wide horrified eyes took in the ninety-nine critters that were pinging off the wall like a bad version of Pong. "Dakota..." She choked. "...There's no way I can get ninety-nine boxes right now!" Much less them into it. The ominous groan of the structure around them seemed to agree.

Heading to Life LabsHis bag of clothes sat at the foot of his bed, untouched since he had gotten back and would most likely remain that way for now. (Half the time, he just ended up going to another outpost like after a day anyways). Milo was mostly focused on unpacking the few trinkets he had collected when the intercom blared, deeming the life building in danger.
"s**t." The pods were there, Oliver might have been too along with a few others but most of all - one that Koume wanted to remind him about - Noemi. She was most likely there helping in the infirmary. Like always. He was already on the move, towards the stairs of the basement to head up when he reached into his pockets for his phone.pixie nyxie Text to MagiBlue: Something happened at the Life Labs? [Minipets Lab]
Dakota followed after Molly who seemed to take the lead after...crushing her way through a wall. She was moving fast through the crumbling lab and he couldn't help the wariness that came around from where he was.
Chama was drawn, as Molly checked on her cats. There was one huge eye roll from Dakota, as there was no enemies around.
"I can carry two. Pick your favorite." He spared her a glance.

Infirmary - OutsideThe text had come after her hands were already bloody with others. She had been working fast, closing the larger wounds the best she could. Wrapping smaller ones. Her first aid kits she had strewn about were dangerous low, but it seemed evacuation was moving smoothly. Tents were set up, people were drawing patients and injured out if they could.
She took the moment to text Milo back, to assure him that she was okay, even as blood spread on the keys of her phone, she got the message out.
She sincerely hoped he was no where near the labs. After the text was sent, she was back to cleaning wounds. Her hands pressed down to place pressure on a larger wound and a life tech sealed the wound.Chirigami Text to Milo: Okay. Injury to head, non lethal. Outside, helping patients. Are you okay?

towards life labs
Nobody had changed out Clarice's voice. Out of all the things Deus burned and deleted- her name. Her body. Her golem info. Her room. Her stuff. They'd left that. Sometimes, until moments like these, it felt like the whole place had just forgotten how much she used to handle.
The labs getting ******** up meant a whole ton of s**t that was gonna end up with no power, no pods, no hunters, and ultimately his a** being vulnerable to whatever had gone wrong now.
He, too, headed towards the explosion, just hoping it was something fixable. And the mercy that certain names and faces wouldn't belong to the casualties. He felt a series of strange, dark, conflicting emotions. He remembered the wrongs done to him. If the Life labs were in chaos, there were a pair of long legs attached to heels that nobody would notice if they turned up missing. She'd be gone, and Rep would be safe- and that sentence seemed like a twisted dagger of a contradiction somehow.
He didn't have time to ******** around with it. He had to get over there. He needed to find Rep. He had to protect what they had-

[Minipets Lab]Dakota said pick two. Two out of ninety-nine. The reply was a wrenching sob. Easily overwhelmed with little to no other options, she just started sobbing. There was no way she could only save a few. No way she could leave them behind, and no way she could release them. They'd all die within an hour. Molly's nose was running and her eyes impossibly glossy as she grabbed Dakota's sleeve, looking up at him desperately. "Th-there has to be something we can do...f-for all of them! Dakota...there just has to be!" lizbot I'm a bit ashamed to be prompt quoting for Canon Cats

Life LaboratoriesWhen he noticed the first little light Oliver thought perhaps he had hit his head too hard on the way down... But there was a second, and a third, and he knew weirder things had happened on the island than these suspicious 'quest markers'. He limped over to the brightest exclamation point and began pushing through the rubble, tipping a desk back to reveal the young trainee, a little stunned, but no worse for the fall. The ethereal exclamation point disappeared. "Come on, we have to get out, it's not safe here," Oliver said, helping the young lady to her feet and limping with her towards the door. They were now on the ground level, and a convenient little marker had lit up just past the swinging doors. They had been pushed ajar by falling rubble, the metal frame slightly warped. "Go, go, head left and get out," Oliver urged, ignoring the girl's protests, something about him bleeding, something about getting help... "Once you are outside, there will be hunters who can tell you what to do." He shooed her off to safety, but he had another quest waiting for him. Limping down the hallway, one sphere of light after another winking out as he passed them, the kid pressed one hand against a pain in his stomach. The minipet containment areas were this way. He coughed on the smoke slowly filling the air, and pushed his way into the room where some of the older minipets were kept. They were barking, meowing, making frantic noises as the ceiling weakened and the muted sound of crashing rubble seemed to echo on the tiles. The little exclamation point led not to the pets themselves, but a cabinet on the opposite side of the room... Yes, the FEAR collars! The secondary trials hadn't started yet, but they were exactly what Oliver needed. He wheezed and pulled the large box of devices out and scrambled back over to the cages. If they could only make it out safely, these little creatures would be okay too...

All there is
People were running here and there, some in panic and some with direction, most of them shouting things he couldn't begin to make out. Underfoot he could feel the wrenching shudder of shifting structures and what he could only assume was collapse. Whatever had happened was huge, even without the ******** alarms announcing the gravity of the situation to anyone who could understand. It hurt to hear Clarice's voice again, and though he could have sworn he'd forgotten how it sounded it sparked recognition immediately and with it a surge of emotion which for a second almost threw him off his course. He kept on, more steady, more intentional. She'd left Harrison to him in some ways, she was one of the few people in the whole world who had valued the other man even a fraction of what he deserved, he'd made a promise and right now he was failing it, he wasn't with him.
Not knowing where Harrison was, one of the rare times of day when he didn't, threw Rep into an absolute frenzy and he ran faster than he felt he had in a long long time, not caring about how much it took out of him, caring only to get to the life labs and find the people who mattered.
When he spotted the shock of blonde hair it was with a surge of jubilation that made him almost leap in the direction of the other man. "ACE." he barked, loud enough to be heard over the alarms, waving Tracey for attention - and the axe was difficult to miss.
And then, just as he had found who he was looking for, something changed, the elation twisted into something else and rather than delight a ragged sound of agony was torn from his lips as Marie untwisted, a sensation which he could never begin to describe, a white hot thread of unendurable agony which tore at Tracey and him in equal measure. He stumbled, reeling forward clutching at his chest because with pain so extreme there was no set point he could cling to, it was everywhere. For a few seconds he felt he was dying, that something had happened and Marie would take him down with her, but it was not the case, before the strength could go out of him in the wake of the agony, his vision was filled with blue light and he staggered properly, catching himself and propping himself up with the blade of the vicious blue sword.
But even through all of this, through the sensory overload of pain and desperation he clung to one solitary thing, it only took a few more steps to close the distance between them both, clenching Harrison's shirt in the hand not clutching the sword.
"She..she's gone." he panted, burying his head against Harrison's chest as if he was a sanctuary. "We need to help." he said. "We need to do something."

Basement Lab Level 1Attention narrowly focused, Peyton didn't notice the people rushing past her, she didn't hear the voice calling out to her as she ran past. She could see Astrid, soft gold curls peeking around computer monitors and lab equipment. "Astrid!" No doubt, the trainee was going to be furious with her for interfering with what she was doing, but Peyton didn't care. She'd rather her sister throw a fit, than not be around at all. If anything happened to her... Pey wasn't certain she'd survive it, honestly. Letting her go had been hard before, but it'd been possible because the Sun had truly believed the girl would get a better life. Letting go now would break her. "Astrid!" Closer now, this time the other girl heard her, head snapping up in alarm. "We're leaving, ri-!" A loud crack, and then the ground was dropping out from beneath her. Peyton had time for a startled scream before she was falling, pieces of ceiling coming down on top of her, battering at her shield, burying her. < Peyton!> I'm-I'm alright. Sore, possibly bruised, but more or less alright. Coughing up dust, she tried to push on the chunks of building that had landed on top of her.

Where Noemi calmly worked thin clusters of shining blue crystal followed, sealing over wounds, keeping them from further damage as the injured were moved to safety and granting a soothing balm to those in pain. Shu had entered where the coma ward once stood, at her feet was a massive hole. Across the din of the destruction and rescue attempts, she could hear it far below. Beep. Beep. A heart monitor, still going, still attached to someone in the wreckage. Someone who was still alive. At the stairwell he Milo found himself confront with the sight of a hunter, eyes black and strange, throwing a trainee into the wall. The hunter snarled at him and moved as if to lunge when her head snapped up and then she was off running, leaving Milo with the choice to either pursue or tend to the downed trainee. A crown of blue crystal formed along Harrison's brow as he was forced to see Rep in agony. Protection. A field began to surround the man, holding the building in place within the influence of his power. toshihiko two Harrison now has a passive aoe that fully protects the room he's in while he's in it. Grey Dragon No prompt needed, I'm just quoting to state that's an adorable solution and will totally work. Something small and bat-like flew past Molly's hair and then settled on her shoulder. It was a Canon Kitten, but strange in that it glowed with a gentle blue light. It tugged at her hair for a moment and then flew up and away, disappearing through a tiny crack in one damaged wall.
