Her attack had hurt, but he was running on 'Oh ********, no you don't!!!' and adrenaline; Aegir would pay for pushing himself and taking that hit later. He was not looking forward to the next morning's bruises, stiffness, and soreness.

"Like hell he is!"

Haüyne's internal monologue and wonder were things unknown to the curly haired super of silence, he was far more intent on her physical presence and on keeping the downed knight alive and out of her clutches. Unfortunately the blond was unable to put much thought into Scholomance's state of being or whether he was escaping or not, because he had his hands - literally! - full with the corrupt in his arms.

They were locked in a struggle, limbs tangled and so close he felt he should have been able to feel her heart beating. Instead of that, he felt her teeth sinking into his shoulder; a bright flash of white-hot pain passed through the blond and stole a harsh cry of pain from his lips. "******** tried smashing a fist into the top of her head to break her hold; a battle between senshi was quickly devolving into a no-holds-barred brawl.

It was all very dignified.

Being jogged was an awful black blip that simultaneously jammed incisors against Aegir's acromion, forced eyes shut, created an instant headache and made a ghost return of all the unpleasant dizziness and nausea of first week of corruption with a concussion. Haüyne's teeth let go as soon as possible, and squirrely limbs pushed and kicked in unison to toss the man off in whatever direction ended up working.

Everything's all swimmy again. I haven't seen 'im use any magic. We're toe-to-toe with strength. Unless I got his starseed, he can cast. Can't dodge all dizzy. And that knight could wheel back. Takin' too long- the longer it is, more in his favor. Get moving. Get moving before he casts something and then breaks my neck.

The corrupted then rolled away as though the world was flames, scrambled up on hands a knees to standing and started into a run away, not particularly towards or opposite Scholomance's direction. It was just another path that was 'away.'

Whacking Haüyne might not have been his best idea as it set her sharp teeth further into him - going to the hospital was definitely going to have to happen - but it certainly wasn’t the worst idea he’d ever had. Braining the young woman had the desired effect of putting her on the defensive and forcing her to escape his grasp with jerky, rapid motions certain to leave bruises across his body.

Pushing to his feet, Aegir put a hand against his bleeding shoulder and winced; the corrupt was scrambling away gracelessly, a fire under her a**. It crossed his mind to give chase, to rope her and reel the woman back, but the thought left quickly as it was highly unlikely she was gunning for the knight now.

She’s wounded, I’m wounded. Scholomance is safe for now. It’s a victory.

Besides, his body hurt and the adrenaline that kept him from faltering against her blade magic, that kept him fighting, wouldn’t last forever. “Scholomance?” How far did you go, friend? Are you alright, or will I find you collapsed on the concrete?

Once he was certain she was well and truly gone, he started the hunt for his friend while hoping he could power down sooner, rather than later. It was dangerous to be Aegir while injured, even though he had his magic if he needed it.

His quarry - and friend - was down a blessedly quiet street. At least, he was pretty sure that was Scholomance. Unless there was another person nearby when the battle had started that was holding his head now in fear of being eaten by the boogeyman rather than having been knocked about by someone trying to take his star seed.

“Hey? Are you okay?”

Isaiah looked toward the voice instinctively when he heard his knight name, and welcomed a sense of relief when he recognized the speaker. Aegir again, though this time he came to the rescue. "... Yes," he answered, though his response lacked enthusiasm about it. He wondered if he might receive chastisement for acknowledging the name when so obviously a civilian. There wasn't time to consider it further.

Isaiah straightened up despite the dizzy spell that suddenly assailed him. His head throbbed mercilessly. "I'll be fine." Or he hoped - head trauma often yielded wildly different results, and a concussion ranked near the top of his concerns. Nausea crept up his throat and gave rise to bitter bile on his tongue, which he spat into the street abruptly. "Maybe. On second thought, it might be best to get checked out..." And Isaiah trailed off where he expected to pick up on the nearest hospital location quickly, but he couldn't remember even his most obvious nearby surroundings. The hell is this? I've been to this area before. Don't tell me senility is striking at the ripe old age of twenty-six.

"You don't look so great yourself. Are those bite marks?" The boy's otherwise pale and spotless shoulder showcased a few rivulets of blood from the telltale marks, shaping the bite pattern of a human. Isaiah expected to hear an affirmative answer on that mouth action. "Did she show you a good time, at least? If not, then I hope you didn't tip.

"Do you know where the nearest urgent care or hospital is? I can't seem to remember."

Having an affirmative answer from the huddled man, Aegir powered down even though it would cause his shoulder wound to bleed through his undershirt and shirt (which read: If ballet was easier, it'd be called football). He could get blood out of the shirts, but he probably wouldn't have been good for defending them if his aura called up more 'friends' like Hauÿne.

He moved to help his friend stay on his feet, he really looked unsteady despite his statement. "I think that'd be a good idea, she got us both pretty good." Granted, the corrupt senshi was probably having about as much fun with aches, pains, and other fight-related maladies as they were...but that didn't measure for much when you were dizzy and hurting.

"Yeah, she bit the s**t out of me, jesus. And then I made it worse by braining her." Colin snorted at Isaiah's good time comment and shook his head, "Nope. She scrambled off pretty quick after I hit her in the head." No tips for Hauÿne - anatomy or otherwise! - just what he hoped was a nasty headache that would make her think twice before messing with his friends in the future.

Green eyes widened with concern, his shoulder momentarily forgotten with the knowledge that his friend couldn't remember something so important. She must have knocked him in the head pretty badly, poor guy. "Yeah, I do. Gotta go myself, in case she was rabid. We can go together." A concussion was a big deal, there was no way in hell Colin was going to leave his friend on his own - and if Schol tried to argue with him, he'd just pick him up and cart him off, shoulder be damned!

"Are you okay to walk, or should I call a cab or something?"

Isaiah looked askance at his powered friend. "... If you're taking a cab to the hospital, then it's called an ambulance." He laughed lightly thereafter; he imagined that Aegir probably wasn't thinking about the semantics of it in the heat of the moment. "But if you're concerned, you can always let me lean on you. I can't promise against copping a feel, though." Blame the outfit, he thought, as he cast an appraising glance at the regalia Aegir wore.

Isaiah started toward the mouth of the alley, then paused when he realized he drifted dangerously toward the back of the building. A bony hand reached out to press flat against dingy brick, and he froze until Aegir passed him. Rejoining the man, Isaiah caught hold of the blonde's arm to keep steady in his ventures. Rabies isn't the only thing she could've given you, either." He struggled to come up with further examples, but a handful of STDs crossed his mind that were warned against even with oral intercourse. Considering such a method of communicating diseases between Aegir and the assailant left him more nauseated than before.

Isaiah kept pace nonetheless, and depended on Aegir to find the nearest hospital. Even if it was a long walk, he would endure it; Isaiah didn't like the prospect of falling into a coma or dying while sleeping, as was the perpetuated fear around concussions. Even if it meant tailing Aegir home, Isaiah determined that he wouldn't meet such a fate.
