Fia thought she was safe with her egg. Near the end of their walk, a giant snake managed to smack both her and Saoirse. and knock her into a tree. "Oh no..."

Easily distracted, Fia watched Saoirse use her glamour to scare away the giant snake. "That... Was exquisite!"

Her mind quickly flashed back to the egg in her arms. Fia feared that it was broke, but when she looked into her arms, luckily, it was still in once piece. She let out a long sigh. "Well, at least the villagers will have this barely intact egg."

"Thank you for letting me accompany you on this... Quest for the village."

Saoirse nodded, trying to calm her nerves. It was easier to slip into her public mode, the part that was dedicated to giving speeches to her subjects, though hers were never all that important. So her voice may not have sounded completely authentic, but she was sincere.

"No, thank you. And thank you for the broach. I'll give him a good home."
