Umber managed to wrench himself free of the girl, despite the damage he incurred by doing so. Adrenaline mitigated the pain she wrought, which was enough for the captain to straighten up without as much protest from the slowly-forming bruises and potential cracking. And with the green-haired senshi distracted with the youma dust in her eyes and the star not quite descending to their level as yet, Umber held a very narrow opportunity for escape. Teleportation would've been preferred, but as exhausted as he felt at the moment, he hadn't the energy for it.
Instead, Umber about-faced and broke into a sprint that would take him toward one of the nearer alleyways, and down a convoluted path that fed to smaller businesses on the sides of the older building complexes. At least with line of sight broken and hopefully no pursuit engaged, he held the opportunity to power down and resume a walk that might avoid indication of his identity as the officer. He needed to chance that, regardless - sprinting under these conditions felt unduly painful, an sucking quick breaths to stymie the oxygen debt ached far too much for completely intact ribs.
Umber dropped his visage into Shale Blackwell when he drew near the windowless side entrance for The Postal Annex, and continued at a slow walk with a hand braced against the cool brick. A hand checked under his shirt for tentative damages while he left the senshi and her savior to their own machinations; he could not have hoped to take them both that night.Iris_virus thank you for the rp too! <3 we should play again sometime!

The senshi struggled and yelled a little after the captain as he departed, the adreneline in her body making her feel far more capable then she actually was. But Bimini's hands were firmly on her shoulders, inspecting her back with a look of mild horror. In movies and games gore was awesome, but here and now.. in the flesh it was making him sick to his stomach. The smell of blood was strong, the oozing red thick and slick, the deep wounds actually moving and pulsing as her body swayed and her lungs expanded and shrank. As he tried his best not to vomit all over the street he wondered how exactly the senshi was still standing and fighting. Bimini was no fighter, he would have been down and out with little more than a broken nose let alone the scene in front of him.
His breathing had picked up pace, fear and uncertainty filling the squire as to what he should do. Finally after a moment he released the girl, his bowl reappearing in his hands.
"Juno.." He recognized the senshi, it'd been years but it would be hard to mistake the Amazonian senshi for another. Not after she'd helped save him so long ago. "Don't move alright. I'm going to pour this on you. I'm sorry, but it's going to help a little bit."
Her eyes had followed after the captain as he retreated, scowling so deeply that it hurt her cheeks. She'd been extremely lucky that Bimini had shown up, but she didn't realize that just yet, she probably wouldn't until sometime the next day when she'd had time to calm down and clear her head.
Juno had registered the knight when he'd first appeared, but it wasn't until he said her name that her attention finally turned to him, eyes squinting to try and make him out despite the ache and wateryness that remained in her eyes. Bimini was equally hard to forget, her lips turning up in a tired smirk as she called him by the name in which she'd dubbed him years before. "Sparkles..."
She made no move to detour him from his plans in fact going so far as to close her eyes and release a heavy sigh, and as the water from his bowl emptied over her she felt coolness and the sudden numbing of her wounds. The pain from her smaller wounds disappeared completely and even the screaming burn of her back lessened and dulled until was little more than an ache. When her eyes opened she looked up to her with both thanks and awe. "Ahh.. you have won the magic lottery I think Sparkles. Is amazing magic."
Pushing herself up, Juno stood with a wobble. Even with the numbing boost blood loss was still blood loss, and though she could not she it, the wound continued to seap unhindered.
"Hey, be careful alright. It doesn't actually heal or anything." He warned, a hand pressing against her arm to try and still her wobbling.
"It's just a painkiller really. So we can get you someplace to patch you up." Looking her over he wondered if he'd be able to do much for her at his place. He could always try but.. it wasn't like he had much real life experience in playing field medic. Where was a healing potion when you needed one? "Maybe a hospital would be a good idea...? I don't mind walking you there."
He hadn't even finished his statement when she shifted away from him suddenly, shaking her head. "I do not want to go to hospital, no." She'd had enough hospitals in the past few years to last a life time. They were cold and lonely. And she hated doctors or being told what to do.
"I am fine, your magic did trick just fine. I take care of myself at home."
As if to make the point she stepped away suddenly, and before he could stop her she bolted, taking to the rooftop.
Barefeet pounded the pavement and rooftops as Bimini tried to follow, but it was only a matter of time before the more atheletic senshi had outrun and manuevered the squire. And when he finally lost sign of her aura he could only curse silently to himself. He really hoped she was as tough as she thought she was.
