Even as the necrotic odor covered the air, her gaze lost themselves in the distance of the beach. The waves crashed onto the shore and flowed up to the soles of Mona’s boots. Human bones and decrepit body tissue was pasted into the sands. She looked down to her hand and circulated white spiritual energy around her hand and she took herself back to Karakura Town for a moment.
Karakura Town
“Oh no I’m sorry but I can’t-“
“Please. You’ve done so much for this town. So much for us.” She pleaded
“It’s really no problem at all ma’a-Er Kisuna.”
“I’m not taking no for an answer.” The elderly woman stood firm as a bull in her statement.
“I...” Mona rubbed the back of her neck and was at a huge gap in between words. And as if blood carried in the pool, the sharks came to play. Another one of the city’s inhabitants stepped up and piggybacked off the woman’s stance; holding out a grip to Mona containing large size pouch.
“I’m not taking no for an answer either Mona.” It was a man that was a few years younger than the woman; just exiting his late thirties to enter his forties. More people started to shuffle into their pockets; some walked back into their homes but only for a moment. They came back with pouches varying from all sizes.
“You’re surrounded Mona…” The Marauder looked over her shoulder and saw none other than the Mayor. The Mayor placed both hands on his hips and A monstrous grin flashed from ear to ear. Had it been any brighter it would have reflected off of the nearest window.
What started as a small job that Mona saw became a project that lasted weeks. The two Marauders had shortened the timetable in a drastic fashion compared to what would have been had they not showed up. What started as hostility and uncertainty became a deep rapport with the community. Gage had stayed for the entire duration
Mona saw one of the first sections to build back. She took off her jacket and wrapped it around her waist. “Alright, let’s get to work.” The marauder switched her gaze off from the ocean view and turned her attention to the desecrated beach. The necrotic stench that flowed throughout the beach would have caused her sinuses to twitch had she not been accustomed to it in Karakura. The white sands previously were spread with large pieces of wooden debris, human bones, and carcasses. She observed each of them that came in her vision, seeing remains of some that did not look like they have reached over adolescence. A sharp pain shot through her heart when she saw one that resembled one that hadn’t look a day over elementary. “My god…How the hell could anyone do this?”
“It is just as worse as it was in Karakura Town.” a deep voice claimed. Mona looked over her shoulder immediately recognizing that voice. He threw up a gesture in the form of a peace sign “Excuse the tardiness.”
“Yeah, don’t mention it. You didn’t miss on anything.”Mona stated,
Gage then pointed a finger away from shore towards the boardwalk. “Let us start there. If we can get some essential places back working, it will probably bring some people back to the beach.”
Mona gave an approving nod. “Lead the way.”
“Not this time.” Gage gestured again towards the direction but with an open palm as a pointer. “Ladies first.”
A side eye shot in his direction with a small grin. “Alright. Just do me one favor and try not to ditch me like you did in Karakura Town."
“Hey!” he light heartedly cried. “I was there ninety nine percent of the time. I just…may have decided to let you have a little bit more of the spotlight then you have seen."
Karakura Town
“At least a potluck Mona come on!” Kisuna suggested.
“Hey listen…” she was going to try a third time to let them down nicely in terms of any reward. There were more places to fix. That was when one more person interjected towards her attempt. This time it was someone that wasn’t even half her height; wearing sandals and pigtails that ran to the middle of her tiny back of her T-shirt larger than her body.
She didn’t understand why the Marauder was trying to leave so soon. Mona had helped them, why didn’t she want their appreciation? “You don’t want to stay and eat?"the little one kindly wondered.
Mona’s insides began to crumble from her sweet voice. Her heart began to soften like butter and her stomach expressed its needs. The marauder took a knee to be at eye level with the granddaughter and gave her a light pat on her shoulder. “I can’t eat…” she trailed off for a moment and her expression said it best. “Because I need a shower first! I can’t eat if I smell like a old bag of smelly socks!”
A burst of excitement shot out of the little child as she embraced the Marauder with her tiny arms. She turned her attention to the Kisuna and the rest of the townfolk. “I can stay for the rest of the day and leave the next morning.”The townsfolk more than obliged with her proposal, knowing about her responsibilities; specifically attempting to help out the other districts that were affected from the assault.
“That’s perfectly fine. I can plan arrangements and have a celebration tonight. In the meantime, enjoy yourself Mona. And thank you again for staying.” the major said. “If you’re able to reach your friend he’s more than welcome to come as well.”
“You are very welcome. And I haven’t been able to get in contact with him.” It wasn’t like him as far as Mona knew. He was just a big help to restoration as she was. “But I’ll keep trying.”
She looked over to Kisuna. “May I stay at your place to freshen up?”
“Of course Mona.”

Mona folded her arms as she listened to Gage’s testimony. Was he really expecting her to believe that? Did he even believe what was coming out of his mouth? “Sure Gage, whatever you say.”
A smug look then appeared on the man. “Besides, they seemed to take more of a liking to you anyway.”
“We worked as a team Gage. And if they were talking about you and asking about you that meant they had a liking to you too.” The young marauder explained before going further. “Not to mention you were there when the assault began like you said. I’m sure they would have loved for one of the men who not only survived the initial attack but gave a helping hand.”
“Hm…” Gage paused in his response and appeared to ponder on Mona’s words. The two marauders approached the boardwalk. Gigantic pieces of wood were broken and scattered across many directions; walkways were stamped by destructive craters that ranged from all sizes. Charred bodies lied from the benches to the seldom buildings that were painted with embers. Many businesses that were adjacent to each other stood at a fraction of what they once were.
Mona’s attention moved to her surroundings; trying to see if she could find any survivors. “You know of any secret spots or shelters some survivors could have hidden themselves in?”she asked.
“I don’t.” he answered. “Even if there were, with the size of this beach I don’t think it would have as many as we’d like to hope.”
“You’re right. And while it may seem like the space is not as big as karakura town, it’s the open field that’s the wildcard element in this case…” If any Hollows or creatures from different dimensions attack a space like this, they would likely figure out from the start that their prey had little places to run to. Unlike Karakura town where the sight of a building added a pinch of hope during an escape, the people here did not have much of that luxury.
The two continued to search the area for survivors, along with a decent landmark that could serve to replenish them. Food stands, vending machines, restrooms, anything that could be efficient. In Karakura brawn was what the two relied on when it came to restoring parts of the city and it only became effective when more of the important resources was reconstructed first. Their search lead them to a small shack that was left crumbled. Pieces of summer clothing were torn to shreds and surrounded all over the area. “We can start here.”Mona suggested. She pulled out her phone and searched through her contact list and began to scroll her thumb across the screen.
Gage became curious watching her and asked “Getting in touch with Jannah?”
“The Karakura Mayor.”
“Ah…” A surprised expression appeared on the marauder.
She didn’t even have to do so much as look at him and could already tell what he was trying to get at. “Not even remotely like that at all.”
507x2=1014+4543=5557 words 1005+1014=2019/3000 for 100% reconstruction
Mona placed her phone away and gave her knuckles a pop before she began to move some debris around the “snack shack”. “After we helped out Karakura Town we exchanged numbers. Well, me and his assistant anyway. I figured it would be beneficial down the long run whenever we run into some trouble.”
“Good Call.” Gage bent down and started to move some of the heavier pieces of wood. “So what did you text him about?”
“I asked if he could bring in some extra hands if he knew any to the places that were destroyed in the invasion.”
“You think he’s good for it?” he asked. “Bringing in quality hands I mean.”
She wiped off a small blanket of sweat that was trying to form on her face. “Yes and no.” Mona told him. “I think some of the people that would be able to help us would think twice if they have family and little ones to watch over.” Warriors who possessed their talents such as her and Gage that was on the good side would no doubt lend a hand where they could. But alas their presences seemed few and far in between
“Well if he’s not…” Gage gave a side eye to his right and tossed the next pile of trash in their “debris” pile; even though it seemed like every pile around them was a debris pile. “They still got us.”
Their actions spoke along with Gage’s words in their attempts to rebuild the city. And it was further reinforced when Mona heard the same thing Gage did. Both of them remained silent. Gage reached for his axe and Mona began to draw on her spirit energy. Was it a hollow? From Mona’s research and experience they often liked to sneak up on their targets before annihilating them. Their eyes locked on each other for a moment before going back at the corner.
“Hello?”
“Is that a kid?” Gage whispered. A tiny hand grasped a doorframe that was still standing and showed a young boy peeking around that looked to be in elementary years. His hair was shaggy with visible dust particles and he wore a t shirt, tennis shoes and clothes that were dirty as well. Mona offered a waving gesture at the kid. “Hi there…are you lost?” The boy stated silent and kept his body behind the frame
“Are you one of the few that are still here? We’re not here to hurt you.”Mona held out a hand. “Do you…do you know where your parents are?”
The kid shook his head and Mona tried not to assume the worst. “Do you know where they last were” Gage asked. The young one shook his head again and Mona rubbed the nape of her neck. “This is rough…”
“Are you hurt?” If he was attacked by a hollow or one of the creatures from the assault, then the least Mona could do was heal him up one hundred percent. The kid was still quiet, but he took a few steps towards them and limped in the process. They both saw that his right ankle being unable to support his weight. Mona was about to channel her spiritual energy but heard a faint humming noise. She looked to Gage and her face was covered with shock.
“I got this one Mona. Sit on the bench for this one.” The overseers know she needed it.
“Gage…since when did…”
The male marauder walked towards the kid and went down to one knee. “Can you show me where you are hurt. I can make it feel better for you if you will let me.”
The boy was hesitant at first. But he could feel the white heat sooth his whole body and decided to give the marauder a chance. He pulled up a pant leg and showed his right ankle. Bruises that weren’t fresh ran along the inflamed skin.
“This won’t hurt I promise ok?” The kid nodded and Gage lightly pressed his fingertips on the weak ankle. 670x2=1340+5557=6897 words
----->The sun shone bright in the clear blue sky, and its warm rays washed over with white sand and the clear blue green water. Akane stood barefoot on the soft, hot sands.. the grains sliding between her toes as she walks along the isolated stretch of sun, sand, and sea. Her steely gaze looking for the best spot to set up her 'camp' on the beach.. spotting a nice place with plenty of sun as well. "The perks of being stuck in the Realm of the Living." The rouge lets out in an amused sigh as she reached down with her left hand to fix the bottom of her purple swimsuit. The trip to the spot was not that long, as it took longer to walk there and in her swimsuit. The looks she got form vendors and passersby was amusing.. but they didn't bother her. After all the former Shinigami was once a part of the Second Division where such looks became more common place as more from beastman tribes had turned the division into a 'cuddle' pile whilst not on mission or actively engaged in division work, such as running the secret military. Still as disappointed as she was being barred form her previous home, the woman now had a pretty good life on the rock. She worked part time at a used book store and had a small apartment near the destroyed residential district.
For now she spread her beach towel across the ground and lazily laid on it. Her hips sway slightly as the rouge Shinigami gets herself comfortable and baths in the sun. "So warm and wonder~" Akane quick to stretch out like a cat asking in the sun. Those golden rays beating down on her toned and tanned back, "A girl could get use to this." Was all she managed to coo out as closed her eyes behind a pair of dark shades. Her toes lightly curl and twirl in the loose, white grains as she relaxed in the light, and heat, of the shining star above. The smell of salt in the air.
XXXA silver bobble in the shape of a chainsaw dangled from a chain attached to a phone. The sun glinted off the phone's screen and glared as a short girl with quite an impressive stack bounced across the hot alabaster sands. Hopefully her sparring partner would follow, they had so much fun getting worked up and sweaty after all. She had an impressive curvature accentuated by the scant bikini she was wearing. Bright blue eyes surveyed the shore for anyone who might catch her interest. Predatory pupils set within oceanic hues locked onto a girl with pale-pink hair and slate eyes. "Yum~" She purred as she sashayed over to the beauty basking upon the sands, laying upon a long beach towel.
"Hi!" Lilleth chirped happily as she cast a long shadow over Akane. "Mind if I join you?" The question laced with a similar heat to the noon star. Lilleth sunk her tiny toes into the burning sands as she waited for a response, rocking back and forth on the balls and heels of her petite feet. The sound of the waves kissing the sand was most apparent on this warm Summer, occasionally punctuated by the cry of a sea-bird or the shout of another beach-goer. The smell of brine and salt was heavy on the air, the aforementioned alkali beginning to mix into the long tresses of Lilleth's hair.

Kamiya Akane [ HP: 250 | SE: 100 | Clarity: 40 ]
----->There was suddenly shade cast over her, as she felt the warm rays from the star above become less intense. One of her slate orbs peered up to... a rather pleasing sight from her angle. A cute short stack, with an impressive bust, was standing over her, and only brought a smirk to the rouge's face. It was sad that she didn't get to see the new girl's face from her angle, but that would be corrected soon enough as she asked to join her. "Of course, Dear. Got a towel of your own, or are you wanting to squeeze in on mine?" Her voice soft as silk and slightly teasing as she spoke to her new friend, "Just.. either way... would you please step out of the light?" The woman smiled warmly up to the top heavy woman and gave her a playful wink as she scooted slightly over.
XXXLilleth hopped down next to Akane after the invitation was made, regardless of rhetorics. Sliding right up beside the blush bomb-shell. The human girl was laying on her stomach, kicking he rlegs back and forth, as she undid the back of her top. The warmth of the sun's rays basked her spine in languid incalescence. "So, what brings a lady like you to a beach like this?" Lilleth asked, her voice partially muffled by the towel; One pearlescent hue staring at Akane from the corner of an almond-shaped eye.
Lilleth rolled slightly onto her side to face Akane, so her attention was clearly on the other woman; Lilleth nearly exposed herself in the process if not for her impressive bosom. "I came here to relax. Maybe make some friends." She purred softly, her eye sliding half-closed as she aimed a sultry inspection upon the toned physique of Akane's tanned musculature. Yeah, she thought, this woman could definitely break her in two. The musing brought a bright crimson hue to Lillteh's impish face as her predatory gaze roamed in an unmistakable way.

Kamiya Akane [ HP: 250 | SE: 100 | Clarity: 40 ]
----->Those slate gray orbs looking over to the short stack as she takes her place along side of her on the long towel. A grin crossing her face as her new friend turns to her side, and if not for her ample endowments, nearly revealing more of her alabaster flesh than likely intended. That tanned, toned body of the rouge would flew slightly as it was clearly obvious that them eyes were dancing over her toned, muscled form. "See something you like, Baby?" Akane teased as she gave a flirty wink to the short stack. The Shinigami stretching out and digging her toes into the fine grain of the hot, white sands. "Relaxing, getting a nice tan, and meeting with this stacked cutie." She would give a soft giggle rolling to her side, pressing lightly into the other girl's bust. "A friend you say. Well.. I am Kamiya Akane... and may I have your name, Dear?" With a delicate trace of her fingertips along her new friend's new soft, pale skin up to the strap of her bikini top. She would give the fabric a gentle tug, though not to peel it away but to help keep her modestly covered.
XXXThe gemisht short-stack leaned in real close, her lips nearly brushing against Akane's ear as whispered softly; The words caressed the shinigami's lobe, "Lilleth Gessnone. But you can scream whatever you want~", she rumbled walking her fingers down the small of Akane's back. Her eyes flashed, energy swirling in the oceanic blue. Those bright whirlpools sparked with reishi as she growled.
Lilleth rolled backwards, sliding onto her spine with her chest towards the sky. If she was concerned with modesty, she seemed unperturbed. "It's nice to relax. I just had a good sweat and this breeze is doing me wonders." Lilleth arched her back as she stretched her toes and arms, a hearty groan escaping her throat from the apparent effort. Still, she never took her eyes off Akane; The half-quincy hybrid kept a half-closed hue on tanned beauty. The glow had not abated during the entire exchange.
Saki ran, quicker than she had in a long time, panting for air as her legs carried her further through the city, out of the rubble of the residential district and out onto the sprawling beach that lie ahead. The sand slowed the 2nd Division Shinigami down significantly, but she still wouldn't give up. Not when the scent was growing stronger by the step. Her lungs burned, legs ached, and her mouth was dry, but onward she carried, hoping to see her Sensei alive and well. And if she wasn't? Well, blood would be spilled on this beach today. She would make sure all whom were involved would pay.
Detecting another scent close to Akane caused Saki to slow down into a cautious gait. Her hand rested on the hilt of her Zanpakuto on her back, while the other was held forward to deflect any possible incoming attacks. Luckily, the denizens of the beach were either ignorant to her presence, or they did not care. This of course meant that Saki could continue unimpeded. However, the multitude of umbrellas around made getting eyes on Akane difficult. She was going to be close before she could see her. She'd have to react quickly if it came to it.
However, it seemed her actions would not have to come to that. Rounding the corner of an umbrella, Saki expected to see Akane, but not lounging on a beach towel in a bikini. Not next to another individual. The purple wolf was confused to say the least. She couldn't find words, and wasn't sure how she currently felt. Confusion was all that registered.

Instinct is Power, Instinct Is The Prime Sense, The Factor Of All Life. Instinct Is A Beast, Must Contain It To Succeed
As quickly as she could, she got onto the beach staying hidden in the heavy camouflage areas. She was trying to find the trace of the Shinigami she felt earlier and when she sighted her. A girl with wolf like ears, hand on her Zanpakuto on her back and went around with a sudden pause. Like she seen a ghost or something but similar to before, she felt another hollow reiastu spiritual pressure. She doesn't see anything big, nothing monstrous but when she looked directly at Akane laying out on the beach, she felt Shinigami from her too.
Is this her target or just someone else who has been here? Too much questions, she would quietly come along side Saki, not even reaching for her Zanpakuto. Her eyes at this point are serious but there is concern within them. What is this mission to them? What is the truth behind someone going rogue?
Is the women in the bikini Kamiya Akane of 2nd Division? She would stay still while whispering to Saki"Are you Okami Saki of the 2nd Division?" Blood shed is the last thing she wants, she would prefer to save Akane then turn her in or kill her. She would only reach for her Zanpakuto if it is truly called for but for now, this must be done passively on the first attempt of arresting Akane. Though if they get the whole story, maybe then they can find proper action. For right now though, they are simply given the directive to make sure nobody else knows about this, but it doesn't have to lead to blood being splattered. Outside of Ryoka invasions, Sara tries to be reasonable with anyone and if they haven't attacked the Soul Society, the home she protects then she has no reason to go offensive on them from the get go.

----->The Quincy girl suddenly leaning in, her warm breath teased across her ear as she whispered her name. "Lilleth Gessnone.." The rouge would repeat it breathlessly as her ears where always a sensitive spot for her. Before being able to recover from the previously closeness, she felt those soft finger tips dancing down her exposed, sun warmed, tanned back. A teasingly soft moan sneaks out as Akane bites the left corner of her lip, "Lillie~" She called out seductively to further tease the unconcerned woman. Her steely gaze keeping trained on their mark as she whispers close to Lilleth's ear lobe this time, "How did that sound? Not enough? Too much?" Her own soft breath carrying those words on it. She watched as the busty, little short stack rolled onto her back despite the Shinigami holding a string of bikini top.. pulling the fabric away without a single care. 'Might as well take it all off..' She would think to herself as her gaze is momentarily distracted by the sight. Always on point, this is quickly fixed after the momentary enjoyment. "Mhmm... nothing beats a cool sea breeze after a rigorous work out." She teases dropping the cloth between them before placing a hand just below her bust. "Know what I mean?"
It was then that her grin melted away and she felt the presence of her darling wolf. Saki never was one of the stealth force... her reason of being in the Second Division was due to being able to get the job. She was an assassin just not a clean one. The rouge pushing up from the towel and her topless towel mate. Unseen, the hand that previously rested on Lilleth tossed a dagger in the direction of the newcomers. Not at the purple haired wolf girl, but lower, to the pink clad one. Even without her reacting it would harmless sweep by her head letting her only hear the vacuum it created. "Oh look at that... that is where I placed that silly thing." She acted surprised, though her face didn't reveal the same emotion. Her cold, hard eyes only peeling away from the Quincy hybrid to look in the direction of the two now, "You can come out. I knew Saki-chan was there... stealth isn't her forte... but is it rude to spy on others Pinky." A long exaggerated sigh leaved her lips as she rises to her feet, and stepping over her busty play mate. "So it was only a matter of time before someone was sent as a clean up crew. I know the protocol... your here to apprehend me, or kill me. Am I right am I not?"
XXX"Sounded perfect~" Lilleth whispered back to Akane, breathlessly nibbling on the woman's ear. It was all fun and games, teasing and being teased, until Lilleth felt two new presence's. They weren't even really trying to conceal themselves. Good~
The girl slowly stood, unsurprised or unperturbed by Akane throwing a dagger towards the arrivals; The one in pink in particular. Lilleth stood at her full height, dwarfed by at least two of the other three, nearly nude as she looked over the three women. "Hey~ if we're killing anyone...kill me~" She purred, leaning against Akane and blowing against the back of her neck.
Lilleth's eyes never left the intruders even as her fingers and hands roamed. If she was bothered by an audience, it didn't show. In fact, she seemed even more excited than before, as if the prospect of a life-or-death situation had brought her immense pleasure. Her face was flushed red and there were small beads of passion appearing on her nearly unblemished flesh. The droplets of sweat rolled down her body slowly as her feverish eyes switched from Saki to Sara, then back again.
"So which one of you want to pierce me?" The question left her lips like a hot breeze, the words kissing the nape of Akane's neck. Lilleth's now glowing hues switched to each one in turn as she addressed them. "You, wolf-girl? Or you pinky?.." She leaned across Akane's back, her chest pressing into the bronzed flesh of her spine. "...or maybe you~ We can just continue where we left off, I don't mind an audience.."
Sara's words washed over Saki's ears much like the waves lapping in from the ocean at the beach sands. If the 2nd Division Shinigami heard what the pink haired Vice Captain of the 13th Division had said, she gave no indication of that being the case. Her eyes were affixed to Akane and her blonde companion. Amber orbs followed as the bronze maiden before her rose from the beach towel. Even when the dagger was thrown towards Sara, Saki could not move. Too many emotions were assaulting her mind. A cavalcade of unanswered questions raced around her head, but she could not ask. When those steely blue eyes rested upon the two Shinigami that were sent on this mission, Saki's heart skipped a beat. Was this some joke? The wolf girl gritted her teeth as her target stepped over the busty blonde beneath her. Anger...anger had taken root.
It was then that the blonde would stand up, and the purple wolf's gaze would dart over and lock on to her. The way she leaned on Akane. It was predatory, and jealousy would take root alongside the anger. Watching as the shorter girl's hands explored the taller woman. Growling, Saki's hand gripped tighter around the hilt of her Zanpakuto. She had her target, and it was settled after the last words out of her mouth. There'd be no continuing for her. This blonde would have a new dance partner now. Rushing forward and snarling, Saki would swing her massive broadsword of a Zanpakuto down towards Lilleth, looking to claim blood from the busty bombshell.
