Time, always moving, had stopped. It hadn't of course, though it had certainly lost its importance. Lost its weight in measurement, at least, to the Dragon Hollow, whom had struggled to reclaim himself. He stood over ashen sand, the malformed-body-like shape framed by slightly lighter, less black sand. Marquel stood staring downward, his mind rewinding the last hour's adventure. He had traveled into the darken sands of Grande, chasing a phantom. Only to be challenged by an Adjucha. Formidable, even if short-lived, the fighter had rekindled his power even further. Again, the names of his power had surfaced, and they repeated themselves for every replay of their outcome. How even with his vision blinded, he had been able to see. How the red faded to black, yet detail became vivid. The rings of light leaving him, flooding him with sensory perception.Pesquisa.
He went back to the attempts in snatching his prey. How the silence of the dead valley had filled with unrelenting hum. Droning so low, it might as well have been static. He knew the name, was familiar with its ability and origion...Sonido...
Marquel lifted his orange gaze, for the first time in almost a half hour. From this distance, even with his height, he could only make the tips of porcelain towers.
Marquel had continued to walk the grey sands for what could have been hours, his face still blackened from the Bala the boy had surprised him with from before. His power had risen, he had no doubts, but he couldn't deny the constant sting. He stopped for the first time since his meal, licking his hand, and wiping his stinging whelp. He cursed his action as soon as his sandy saliva roughed his rough skull. A low growl escaped his lungs and he continued forward, shaking his body as he walked....Shiver through our spine.... He thought, starting to trot faster. Was it colder? Was he being watched? He focused forward, letting his body run on autopilot, mentally going back to that place of calm, and sight. His eyes were open now, he could see the details for sure, but the calm senses were blurred and fogged. He closed his eyes, shaking the blur from his sight and thoughts.
He saw then, that he was approaching tall Quartz, black, and Amethyst with a sinister luster. He knew this place was not for the weak, and he started to pick up speed, then slowed. Before he could brake he felt a hard smash to his right. What!! Something, a Hollow for certain, had smashed into his side, sending him side-sliding. Blinded by the dust, and catching his barring Marquel looked back toward his original position, the dust too thick to show him the dark sand, or his foe.
ZZZzzzz Familiar static filled the dark air, a taunt from beyond the grave. Such a haunting sound that shall forever surround him, he thought. The air cleared, though it hadn't, and he saw the Hollow, as massive as he with a horned tail. The hissing static grew louder as the beast closed the distance. Marquel felt a second blow, another body check. This time he only stepped back once, before retaliating with his own mass, claws first. He felt flesh split beneath his grip, and pushed down off the enemy Hollow. The giant roared, rearing in the air on hind legs before vanishing with another hiss.
Marquel dashed forward, his Pesquisa tracking the Hollow's path before he moved. As he traveled he felt his speed rocket, and heard the static charges forming around him. Panicked he jolted forward, faster, making the static pop louder. He saw the Hollow stop in the distance, the slashes from before now closing before his eyes. Rage fueled Marquel mid-step, pushing him further into the popping air. Boom! Marquel himself was astonished by the sudden arrival of the other Hollow. How in what felt to be a half step he had closed the 50 pace closure.
Thump! As loud as the booming static, the clash of flesh on flesh called to the night. Marquel now remembered, the technique itself emitted the static. How distasteful. He thought, letting loose a growl as he watched the other beast stagger. Before it could recover, Marquel lunged forward and spat his sapphire mini-van-sized bala into its reeling head. Smoke erupted on impact and he took the screen for his advantage, spinning to slam his tail into the other Hollow. The rewarding crunch of breaking bone graced his ears. Marquel pulled around, his tail whip dragging the bala smoke through the air. The other hollow clawed lonely at the sand, trying to retreat.
Marquel roared in rage, stepping over the massive beast's back, and sinking his teeth into the left side of the white face of his would-be opponent. Power flared around him, within him. He released the neck in his hand, and slapped the brute to the sand, sinking it deep under the grainy surface. Feeling his stolen strength grow, he inhaled deeply. His orange eyes vanishing from his skull-like mask. He roared, savagely at the defeated Hollow. Even if it went on hunting like himself, it would never grow to his strength. His roar continued powerful, and hot, sending shards of glass-not sand- into the air. Red sparks flared around his teeth, silencing the victorious beast.
Marquel stared at the body in front of him, momentarily stunned by the sparks. What was that? It felt....Marquel growled with anticipation, practically purring. He roared again, this time through effort. The hot breath pushed sand across the steep pit, uncovering the rising and falling side of the Hollow. Again he inhaled deeply. He envisioned his objective, the sparks, and the blast of his bala. He roared, pressing sand to the side of the sink. When his lungs were empty he stood panting, the other Hollow still unconscious or comatose in the sinkhole.
Marquel stepped to leave, until he felt power. Similar to how he had felt this Hollow, and the boy earlier. He stood still, letting his body use the new senses. He watched his power roll in waves around him, like heat. There. His eyes snapped down, looking into the sinkhole, but past the body. Past the sand....
Marquel inhaled a third deep breath, roaring to announce his presence and authority as any instinctual being would. He saw them again, the red flares around his teeth. The sparks circled and formed a red orb that flared orange. Cero The technique was familiar to him, much more than the others, he felt.
Flesh screamed and fires bellowed as life returned to a rotted husk buried beneath the sand. Air fills once shriveled lungs and a rasping sound escapes a maw that in times past could have shorn flesh from bone as easily as any blade. A furnace stoked between rotten ribs as embers billowed out from ancient wounds. Molten blood flowed fresh, oozing out between fossilized fangs. Skin and flesh and fur burned, choking the air with the acrid scent of sizzling fat. Claws that once held the throat of the world and could rend the fabric of space asunder grasped at rock and root, lifting a monolithic creature from it's dusty grave. "Tá mé beo!!" An ancient dialect gurgled out throw bubbling magma. New life burned in eyes long closed. Would this be a grand rebirth?
Balor, a creature forgotten, discarded by his previous mistress, awoke to a world much changed since his slumber began. He would need much time to regain the power that he had lost, and had no idea where to start. He was lost in time and space, forgotten by those that had once feared his name. Balor, a word that was once on trembling lips, uttered in whispered tones, by the man's primitive fire. Now none knew of the primordial beast that stalked and crushed and victimized since time immemorial. But they would...they would..
"Caithfidh mé dul go dtí an domhain..." a thought, he must return to where his old stomping grounds were. Gorge himself on the supple fat of man. Burn their souls like coals in his engine of flame and magma. They would once more speak of his name in hushed tones, fearing the day he would grind their bones into paste to jelly their toasted flesh. His mouth watered, drool scorching the ground at his feet as he tried to remember how to open a portal to Earth. For he was a wolf, and though his prey be but mewling sheep; A beast did not know how to work the key to the piggy's door. First he would remember how to don his armor. Plate of bone and sinew to ward off the pitch-fork and torch of feeble man. It would take some time to remember how to hunt. But he had all the time in the world.
Balor feared no one. Perhaps his mind was too primitive to understand fear, or he lacked the basic instincts for self-preservation. No, it was far more likely that for a millennia the creature had nothing to fear. For what does a beast who's skin could break steel, who's fangs could rend iron as easily as flesh, and who's claws could tear a life from it's flesh need to fear? There were of course heroes of old. Men and women who could wrest his strength from his limbs and sinew from bone. But time was not as kind to them as him. Where he grew only stronger with the passing of a century, they would wither and die. When he was young he ran into one such man, who bent his arm and tore it from his shoulder. The man hung his trophy proudly above his hall. Time and time again they clashed. Once more in Balor's den, and once more the man had prevailed, removing the beast's head from his neck. But death was never the end for Balor. He reconstituted and bided his time. Until the day the man was grey and feeble, and Balor vomited fire and molten iron onto his weakened frame. The man had been a king then, with no heir. And he faded into legend, as had all before him, as had all after. Until Balor was forgotten by all but the deepest fears. The primal fears of eyes in the darkness and gleaming fangs on the edge of a fire's light.
They would remember him. His image would be etched into their minds as surely as nuclear fire would be etched on their eyes, and just like the after-math of such an atomic explosion; There would be a fallout. Men and women would remember what it was like to fear the dark. What horrors followed in his wake, as he sired their inky forms from the fetid remains of the souls he ripped from cartilage, sinew, and bone. They would remember despair as they realized how short their chains were...and how easily they were consumed. Leaving nothing behind but a hollow. A hole where there hopes and dreams and ambitions had once been. No memories. No light. No laughter or love. Just hunger and pain and fear. He would give them desolation and pain and ruinous flames that would consume and corrupt everything left behind. And they would flee, flee to the farthest, darkest corners and hold their torches to the shadows that leapt at them in grim, determined deviance. Those that were left, that is. Not knowing that when you held a flame, there was always the chance that you would be burnt.

Ronan & Adelaide
Ronan would easily keep up with his opponent as he crossed through the threshold from the Menos Forest to Grande, where he at least expected a counter attack as he entered behind him. To say the least, the man did not disappoint as he is bravely, yet recklessly, rushed by Hayate before he can find his footing once more. Not that it mattered as the man moved so slow, the beast could see through each of his moves, one by one. "I see..." He would say in response to the other Arrancar saying that he was wishing for this to be worth his time. So far the man showed promise, if he just trained more and increased his speed. Still he was faced with a waves of several Cero and Hayate's Ressurection to deal with. Still it was an easy task as he leaps back from the released Hayate, before counting each of those Cero with one of his own. It wasn't too much longer into the fight that the ground beneath them began to quake and a vast wave of jokai energy surge through the whole area. He stops dead in his tracks, "Halt!" He would yell out to Hayate as he moves towards the hole which the two fighters had created and came through. "Claudia!" Ronan would call out before noticing the small child like along side his Fraccion standing further back from them. Seeing her safe the man smirks but quickly tries to play it off, "Hmph... feel that surge of power? Something happened in Menos Forest. Lets check it out." With that the large man once again leaps down into the dark forest below.
It wasn't long after both Claudia and Adelaide had arrived in Grande, when a massive explosion from bellow them rocked the very ground the pair stood on. "That is not a good sign." She would say low enough for the smaller Hollow could hear her, without interfering with the fight between her master and Hayate. It was rather amusing to see how quickly the man clad in a large red cloak called off the spar, and turned to look for Claudia. It had to be one of the few times Ronan had been honest with himself, and she enjoyed seeing it. She simple motions over to the female Hollow to relay that she is indeed safe with her. After her master tries to play off his concern as if it was nothing, Adeliade bows out and heads into the dark abyss towards the floor of Menos Forest once again.

Hayate stoops every motion he was playing on doing and stood, there he releases his ress form and feel down to the ground and was huffing and puffing,"looks like we will have to finish this some other time Ronan i am glad we had this chance to fight so much put it looks like there is more pressing matters at hand so we should attend to them ,he then fell over and passed out from exhaustion." Hayate laid there in deep thought like a dream like state hayate began to think about how He has progressed throughout his time of being alive,Hayate began to wonder why is it that this man wants him to follow him hayate thought no one would even care for him or even turn there face towards him ,Hayate then woke up suddenly and looked at ronan,"I have come to a realization you are very powerful and stronger than me i shall follow you but if you even become weak for a moment i will not hesitate to take you head off," hayate said with a serious look and he stood um crossed his arms and looked at ronan.

It was not long after both Claudia and Adelaide had arrived from the Menos Forest that the wave of energy blasted through the area. Yellow eyes glanced over at Adelaide as she say that the sound of it is not good. "Perhaps luck favors us today." she would reply. There was truth to her words, if they stayed in the area a moment sooner they would have faced the blast. It was then that Ronan would stop the fight and call out her name. "I am here." she would reply with a simple nod as he turned for her. Ronan's emotions would turn after seeing her safe and sound. It made her happy, but she would hardly show it. It was then that Ronan would call out for the group to return below to asses what had happened. It was the pillar she was certain of it. The small girl's attention was turned to Hayate after he appeared to have a moment of exhaustion. "Gather your strength, we move back to the forest." she would say before leaving back to the forest.

Satuo Arrancar #40 Satuo silently walked through the desert sands as he put his hands in his pockets. He stopped as he reached a sand dune overlooking the darkened area, and surveyed the area silently as he glanced around, the lack of screams from the passing hordes of feral hollows disturbing him. He glanced around as his ears shifted, and thought out loud, "no one home. I guess no one will mind if I do a bit of training then." With that, the neko would carefully walk down the dune, at one point sliding from losing his balance, and into the empty training area.
He looked around one last time as he felt an odd sensation. It wasn't fear or nervousness, it was more of feeling like he was being watched. He stood still as his ears shifted to try to catch any residual noise as the fine fur bristled while his tail softly shifted in the wind. After what felt like half an hour passed by, his ears would shift down as he figured that it was silent. He thought a bit as he looked at his hands, and looked around him. He chewed on his inner lower lip as he thought a bit, if everything around him could create spiritual energy, then there should logically be a way to detect this. It was much like how someone could hear things that made noise, at least he thought it was. He interlaced his fingers and pushed them away from his body to crack the knuckles, and set his hands in front of him so his arms were parallel to the ground. He thought a bit as he started to put energy into his arms, and put his arms to his side as he commented, "wow that looks stupid as hell. I'm pretty sure that what I'm thinking doesn't work that way anyhow." He thought a bit as he focused on the sounds around him as he softly shut his eyes, the soft noise of the sand moving as it was pushed by the wind as well as the soft blowing of the wind itself as it went over the fur on his ears. He took a breath as he reached out his right hand, and felt his spiritual energy move down into his arm before moving toward his fingers. He opened his hand completely, to try to release the energy into the air. He opened his left eye to peek as he felt the energy go into the air, and felt his shoulders slump and his ears go down as he found that he couldn't actually see the sonar pulse. He looked around as he saw that he was right in his thinking, the area around him, at least the area that he had been able to scan, was completely devoid of life. He thought a bit as he lightly chuckled to himself, and held his arm out again as he put more energy into the sonar, this time to try to double the range. He looked around as it came back clean, and commented "well this is a fun tool."
Satuo Arrancar #40 Satuo sighed as he popped his neck as he felt tension in his back by tilting his head to the right, before rotating his head to the left while his ears moved with the motion of his head. He looked over into the distance as he heard an odd noise, and blinked as he saw a hollow walking around. He shifted to be sitting lower to the ground as he saw the other hollow kill a weaker hollow, and kept silent as he watched them munch on their new meal. His ears shifted forward to try to capture any odd noises as he silently watched the other stronger hollow, and felt his ears shift down when he saw that he had been discovered. After a few moments, the adjuchas class hollow would look away, before vanishing as he heard static. He would quickly look around as he heard more faint static, potentially from the hollow that he saw moving farther away.
He looked around as his ears shifted softly as he found that he couldn't hear the noise anymore, and thought a bit as he wondered if he could do that. He took a brief pause to send out a pulse of reaitsu to scan for any reiatsu sources that were within a five meter radius to him. When he saw that there weren't any odd entities near him, he figured that it was safe to try to go faster than if he was running. He stretched his legs behind his back as his ears shifted softly, and took a breath as he thought out loud, "alright, I can do this." With that, he shifted a bit to get into a running stance, and began running. After a few moments of running, he tripped and fell flat on his face. His ears shifted as he got up, and spat out sand that had gotten into his mouth as his ears flattened on his head. He slowly got up as he wondered what he did wrong, and looked his legs over as he wondered if he wasn't running fast enough. He took a breath as he turned around, and began running again, trying to go faster than the last attempt. After going about five feet, he slowed to a full stop as he came to the realization that this wasn't the correct procedure.
He thought a bit as he put his hands behind his head as his ears shifted softly. He wondered if he just had to try going faster, but something in the back of his head told him that he was an idiot. He thought a bit as he remembered that everything seemed to require spiritual energy, and looked at his legs as he wondered if it was like ripping the weird hole in thin air. He took a breath as he built up spiritual energy from his core, and directed the energy into his legs as his ears shifted. He focused on a spot in the distance as he shifted his footing as if he was going to start running, and pushed himself forward with his back leg to propel himself forward. He blinked as he heard the distinctive static noise that he noticed when he was watching the other upgraded hollow, and looked around as he noticed that he had moved a fairly good distance. He turned around as he noticed he still had a decent amount of energy built up in his legs, and pushed himself forward as he released the stored energy in his legs. He stumbled as he landed, his ears shifting softly with the static sound filling the air, and ended up falling on his face again as he lost his balance. He would get up as he commented to himself "nailed it."
From the darkness of Grande, emerging from the abyss, a small white mask reflected the moon of Hueco Mundo's light. Two orbless sockets peered out from skull like face. The small vasto-lorde, standing barely above a human's knee, plodded forward as spiritual fire burned around them. They were infected by whatever spiritual plague was going around. The spiritual fire sparked and flared white hot. Wind whistled and whipped around the tiny hollow who could not have weighed more than a small child, billowing his wing-like cloak around his body. His skin, not hidden by his mask or his moth winged cloak, was the color of pitched tar. He drew his small nail-esque sword and stepped forward, rushing towards Satuo with blade drawn. The tiny spike would be aimed at Satuo's sternum.

Satuo Arrancar #40 Satuo slowly got up as his ears shifted softly, muttering to himself "well, good news is I didn't get any sand in my mouth like an idiot.." He would dust himself off when he got to his feet, and glanced around as he used Pesquisa once again, and sighed contently when he found that no one was around to witness his great fall. He thought a bit as he looked around, and silently wondered what happened with the group that had attacked the elves. His thoughts would be cut off as he heard a noise behind him, and turned around to see a rather short hollow walking toward him. His ears shifted as he saw that their head was on fire, and thought to himself 'huh, you don't see that everyday.' He blinked as he realized that you would never see that, as his ears shifted back, and stuck his arm to the side to get his weapon ready when the smaller Vasto Lorde ran toward him. The machete would be half formed when the sword stabbed him in the chest and shattered his sternum, before going through his chest, giving him a lovely hole in his heart.
His ears would go down as he felt cold and warm at the same time. As his blood leaked out of the hole in his chest, the strange warmth grew from the injury as it slowly spread to fill his chest. Satuo stared down at the small Vasto Lorde as the burning sensation built up. Due to his injury, he couldn't scream out in pain as he felt like he was being boiled alive. After a few moments, the neko's head would burst begin to smolder as the infection took hold of his body. There wasn't much that Satuo could do as his head burst into flames, signalling that he was completely infected by the virus.
The short, beetle-esque hollow pulled the nail from Satuo's ruined chest. Blood poured from the wound as the blade was retrieved, bursting into flame as it came in contact with the air. Fiery napalm pooled around their feet as the insectoid humanoid hopped back and glided through the air gracefully. He landed a short distance away, twirling on a small, conical black foot. With a flip of his cape and a flick of his blade, spattering the flaming viscera across the sand, the short horned reibesta opened a garganta and headed to Earth. Those dark, orbless sockets peered back at Satuo, now infected, devoid of any expression. The gaze lasted a few seconds as if trying to convey some sort of message. Then the moth-like hollow fell into the portal.

Satuo Arrancar #40 Satuo's eyes went down to the injury in his chest as he noticed that it no longer hurt. He grinned as he saw the fire that spread from the viscera hitting the air. He watched as the blood flicked off the nail like sword the insectoid type hollow cleaned off his weapon, and watched as the blood turned into napalm, setting the sand on fire. His blackened eyes turned back to the other male hollow as he opened a gaganta to go into the living world, and walked to the portal as his ears twitched softly, along with his tail. He would fall into the portal, and watch as the garganta sealed shut behind him. [-Exit-]
Sako sighed as she entered Grande. This was the closest thing she could think of that was a home for her. Most of the higher level hollows lived in this area, or resided, only to come out to find food. Speaking of which, she didn’t get to eat anything while she was out in Muchos. Cursing, she looked out towards the direction of Muchos. She wondered if the hollow that killed her new “friend” had indeed follow her or stay with the two arrancar. Not that it mattered. Arrancar tend to stay with Arrancar and Menos Grande stayed with Menos Grande.
“I’m hungry…” she says to herself quietly. She contemplated on going back out to find something to eat. If she went into the human world, she could get some wine with her meal. She smiled a little at the thought. Hollows didn’t need to drink, but she liked the taste of the liquid and no matter how much she drank, she never got drunk.
She was just about to leave again until she felt another presence. “Who’s there?” she demanded, looking out into the darkness.

"Well there you are, i have been trying to find you." Gundulf said as he walks out of the darkness with a grin. His spiritual pressure contains his killing intent and destruction intent embedded like in a slumber at this point. If Gundulf had every intention to kill, his killing intent would be felt but instead, its rather ambition. "I want to thank you for tossing that human into the sand dunes, if it wasn't for that, the hollow wouldn't of went into the sand dune. Because of him, i was able to evolve into a much improved form of power and its all thanks to you after all." Gundulf said with a respectful tone, specially seeing that Sako is a powerful Vasto Lorde, certain that she has special talents to not being a Arrancar. Sure, to him, Arrancars are the elites of Hueco Mundo no question about it, but when Gundulf finds a powerful person before him, he likes to keep a eye on them. Sako must be powerful in her own right and by that very reason, Gundulf respects her knowing that strength is everything in Hueco Mundo, without power, you waste away like a moth to a buzzer. Gundulf can't deny the fact that Leo exist inside him after beaten, eaten and because of eating him, he is familiar with Sako."You tried to help him grow, i don't blame you for trying, that is one other way of surviving in Hueco Mundo but its best you don't. For some like us, other hollows can't keep up with our power and in the end, they drag us down. It couldn't be helped, your friend should of known my power is greater then his but yet he still insisted on attacking me. I am guessing its because i had taken his prey and because of that, he wanted to devour my life. I can't let that happen, i must evolve and grow stronger, the weak feed the strong. As we continue to feed on them, we rise further and further up the food chain, You so will get stronger as well." Gundulf puts a hand out for her to shake"My name is Gundulf, nice to meet you." In a way, Gundulf is sorry that her friend had to die by his hand but with the laws of Hueco Mundo, no man can grow weak in this place or even hesitate to kill. 403 words x 1.5 interaction bonus=605 + 501 words from last post in Muchos=1,106 words
Sako’s eyes narrowed as the Arrancar came up to her. She wasn’t sure whether or not she could trust this new hollow. He DID kill someone she was going to train to become stronger, much how she was taken in by the Snake Hollow all that time ago. She listened to Gundulf speak, circling around him as she did. She wasn’t being threatening, she was merely getting a closer look of this hollow. The Arrancar was brave to set foot in the lands of the Meno Grande. She knew that once they realized he was there, they would no doubt try to drive him away.
“I was merely taking him under my wing,” Sako said. “How else are the weak suppose to get stronger?”
She vaguely remembered being weak. Just like Leoix, she was a wolf hollow. She was so weak that she hid from everything that moved. She remembered nearly starving herself and when she was on the brink of her demise, a large snake appeared from nowhere. She could remember his spiritual pressure alone was crushing her, making it hard for her to even breathe. She was too weak to move at that point. She was ready to meet her end, but the snake didn’t eat her like she had thought he would. Instead, the snake picked her up and took her to his lair. It was odd for a powerful hollow to help weaker ones, at least this is what she thought at the time. The hollow brought her souls and in no time she was herself again. She had thought that the hollow had evolved in that time frame, but she later learned that he was a Vasto Lorde and he turned into s giant snake when he released his vivification. He began to train her, but at the time she didn’t know what for. It wasn’t until she evolved herself and learned that he was a very ancient hollow. Every five thousand years he wakes up and chooses one hollow to train. When he was done, he would go back to sleep. That was some time ago, however.
Returning from her fading memories, her attention went back to Gundulf. “I understand that much. He was a fool to try to kill someone that was so much more powerful. I would have done the same if he decided to turn on me.” She looked at the hollow's extended hand for a moment. It was an odd gesture for a hollow to do something so…. so human. “I am called Sako,” she said as she took his.
