5. Spin 10 times then pin the tail on the dragon. 'I need you to spin in a circle 10 times Mine. Oh, and try not to fall over.' By the shards when she got out of here! She spun in a circle and did her best to not sway from side to side as she did so. This was a lot more difficult than she thought it would be. 5...6...7...8.. she continued to spin and wobbled to the left a little and finished with 10 and stuck her arms out to try and balance herself. She could hear his laughter, in her head and out of it. She was thrilled he found this so amusing. Though, she couldn't blame him, she do the same thing if the roles were reversed. 'To your left, NO! your other left. Steady! Forward.' His commands in her mind kept her wobbling form in the right direction somehow. She did sway to the left a little, to which he had to guide her back on track. 'This is far more difficult than I would have imagined you know..' She said to him trying to remain focused on the darkness and the spinning. 'Just a few steps more .... and You got it!' Her hand found the park and she felt the small medal pin go into the target. 'The next event doesn't have anything to do with spinning some more does it?' She asked as the spinning feeling finally stopped. 'Don't you worry your precious mind about that Mine.' Now, to head to the next event.. Reciproth: 7 Naressa: 5 Difference: -2 Result: Completion, medium success, nothing flashy.

6. Throw a ball at a target
She was in position and patiently waiting for her bonded to inform her of what to do next. 'If you reach your arm out at an angle to your right.. yes! There, you'll find a ball.' Her fingers gingerly felt around as she extended her arm and she felt the semi-rough touch of a leather ball. She wondered what hide they used for it and then shook her head. Now was not the time to think of what kind of hide this was. They had an obstacle to complete. 'Okay..... Now what?' She asked holding the ball close to her chest. Reciproth:3 [WC:101]

6. Throw a ball at a target 'So.. You have to throw it now. And hit a target that's in front of you, slightly to the left at an upwards angle.' 'I have to what? Are those the best directions you have?''Yes.' Well, this was going to be interesting. It took her forever to feel comfortable enough to throw it and she did and she heard a resounding smack as it landed against something. 'Well. You hit it, but just barely.''Hey now, I'm trying down here.' At least she had hit it. Reciproth: 3 Naressa: 6 Difference: +3 Result: Completion, but poorly so. [WC: 85]

7. Finally, navigate a hay bale maze. The maze is winding and geometric in patterning and is approximately 6 feet tall. Naressa prepared herself, this was the last obstacle. She wondered how they would do. She hadn't honestly paid too much attention to what was going on around her. She at least hoped the other contestant was doing alright. Sure she'd like to win, but it wasn't always winning that counted. 'Alright mine. Are you ready for the final obstacle? It's just a maze. This shouldn't be too much trouble.' His voice was curious sounding and she looked upwards, not that she could see anything any way. 'No retreat! No surrender' They had this. Reciproth: 1 [WC: 92 ]

7. Finally, navigate a hay bale maze. The maze is winding and geometric in patterning and is approximately 6 feet tall. 'Left, no. Wait, right! She bumped into a wall of hay and shook her head to remove the stray pieces of straw that had decided to cling to her face mask. 'Do you know where you're leading me?' she asked stinking her arms out to feel the wall around her. She would have thought this would have been the easiest task. It is just a maze. 'I'll have you know, it's not as easy at it looks mine.' After a couple of bumps she felt a hand upon her shoulder so she could be led to the beginning of the maze. Maybe they would get it on the second go of it. Reciproth: 1 Naressa: 6 Difference: +5 Result: Failure [WC: 112 ]

7. Finally, navigate a hay bale maze. The maze is winding and geometric in patterning and is approximately 6 feet tall. Forward, 5 paces, left 2 paces then you'll have to walk in a clockwise motion slightly.' She walked forward and bumped into one of the walls slightly and then turned left. She had to do what? Clockwise motion walking? There was a looping part of the maze that she couldn't quite get, even with Reciproth guiding her. 'Think of a sea shell, but with hay.' 'That doesn't really help me too much Reci.. Thanks though.' She said as she attempted to navigate the maze. Alas it was to no avail for she ended up in a dead end and was guided out once more to start again. Third times the charm right? Reciproth: 1 Naressa: 8 Difference: +7 Result: Failure [WC: 112]

[3. Cross a 'moat' by navigating across platforms. The moat is as deep as an adult's waist and filled with water.] The master of ceremonies brought down the noise of the crowd with his hands, “Yes, yes, we’ve seen what these two are capable of on land, but how will they fair on WATER?!” C’rrys’ smirk vanished at this announcement, a sinking feeling in the pit of his stomach, Water?! Leszy what is this about water, I’ve never even been on a boat! Oh, it doesn’t look so bad, all you have to do is walk across these platforms in the water and make it to the other side. C’rrys grimaced, Oh ‘that’s all’ is it? I’d like to see you try navigating sharding platforms floating in the water without being able to see! Leszyth huffed with impatience, We don’t have time to second-guess ourselves, stop dilly-dallying and get onto the platform in front of you! His shoulders tight with nerves, but unwilling to let Leszyth or the crowd down, C’rrys edged himself onto the first platform. Leszyth: 3 C’rrys: 5 Result: Mediocre WC: 156

7. Finally, navigate a hay bale maze. The maze is winding and geometric in patterning and is approximately 6 feet tall. Reciproth attempted to guide her once more but the end result was the same. Another dead end and that was that. At least they had accomplished all of the tasks minus this last one. She didn't think that was too bad of a way to begin the games. It wasn't the best, but still. They had tested their luck and had completed 6/7 tasks. You did well mine.' 'No. WE did well Reci. Together we did well.' She had her dragon to thank for getting her as far as he had. She was actually glad that their turn was now over. She removed the blindfold and returned it to the beginning of the course and joined her dragon up from a spot where she could watch the rest of the bonded try their luck. [3. Cross a 'moat' by navigating across platforms. The moat is as deep as an adult's waist and filled with water.] C’rrys reminded himself to breath deeply as he navigated the platforms with Leszyth’s direction. Leszyth did his best to assuade C’rrys’ fears, You’re doing great mine! Now you have to make a quarter turn to your right … yes, that’s it, now walk forward onto the next platform … good, just one more and you’re done! It was slow-going and the crowd was by no means impressed with his performance, as he had moved cautiously and without grandeur, but at least he made it to the other side without falling into the water. Shaking from nerves, he left the last platform with a sigh of relief and moved on to the entrance of the next challenge. Leszyth: 3 C’rrys: 5 Result: Mediocre WC: 116

[4. Colour a picture with chalks on a large chalk board. Attempt 1] C’rrys walked forward into the next challenge area, a roped-off rectangle with a large chalkboard arranged lengthwise and a small table with a stack of large cards and assorted chalk colors placed upon it. The master of ceremonies introduced this task to the audience, “Well now, these two have succeeded in all of the physical tests so far, but now it’s time for a different sort of challenge - this one testing their combined effort to recreate this drawing!” And so saying, removed one of the cards from the stack on the table and showed it to both the audience and Leszyth, it was a seemingly random arrangement of shapes and lines, some organic and some geometric. C’rrys was almost overwhelmed at this news, I have to draw?! Leszy, I’m no artist, how are we going to do this?! Leszyth: 3 C’rrys: 8 Result: Failure WC: 139

[4. Colour a picture with chalks on a large chalk board. Attempt 1] Leszyth responded in a condescending tone, The same way we succeeded in the last challenge! All you have to do is follow my lead, it’s really not going to be that hard. C’rrys felt his cheeks burn with Leszyth’s tone, Fine, where do I start? Walk four paces forward and then pick up the piece of chalk that is sitting second to the farthest left. C’rrys walked forward and grabbed at the chalk, only to be interrupted by Leszyth, Not that one! I said second farthest from the left, not third, pick up the piece beside the one you just reached for. C’rrys snorted with impatience and picked up the designated piece of chalk and in walking towards the chalkboard, banged his hip against the table. “Agh!” , C’rrys cried out in frustration and rubbed his hip, moving on to the chalkboard in what surely wasn’t a sulk. He tried to follow Leszyth’s instructions on how to recreate the drawing, but he kept fumbling in his placement of the chalk or reaching for the wrong color and grew more and more flustered with each reprimand until he finally pressed the chalk against the board so violently that it snapped and he seized up- embarrassed and filled with nerves- the audience silent and looking around themselves, thoroughly unimpressed with the turn of events. Leszyth: 3 C’rrys: 8 Result: Failure WC: 223
