When you're dancing

"That's just cruel, gorgeous," but he was smiling still as he drew her to him, a hand coming around to fall to her hip. He lay a kiss on her knuckles before lifting that hand out beside them.

"It's like a waltz, but with more turns and spins. The steps will be the same, and the posture, but..." It was hard to explain. His shoulders came up in s light shrug. "It'll be easier to show you." He had every confidence she'd be able to pick it up, like age had every other dance step he'd shown her. "Left forward to start, and follow my lead. Ready?"

[who's who

Broad shoulders rose and fell. "I know, but we also haven't gotten a chance to talk to her. A lots been happening lately, Marosa got badly hurt, there was some..." He paused rubbing at one dark brow in thought. "Some weird gang thing, I don't know all the details, but there was some free for all brawl, and a bunch of students got caught up in it. The three of them were there, apparent Sharra carried Yaya back to the dorms." They really were going to need to talk to the ghoul. "I'm gunna talk to Sharra next week, see where he stands."

He made a noncommittal sort of noise at the mention of Hel and Mac. Not like her wasn't listening, but as if he were still lost in thought. Junko's silence brought him back to attention, and he tipped his head, kissing her temple affectionately.

"Just my parents." Their guest list was made up almost exclusively by friends. "How about you?"

House hunting redux

The ghost inwardly cringed, just a touch. He understood that they probably weren't going to find their ideal house. Close, very close, but he didn't want to get his hopes up too high. There were deal breaks though. Not just for Junko, but for Seiji too. They were going to have enough on their plate without having to worry about renovations. At the very least, they needed all the rooms finished.

So it didn't come as much of a surprise when Junko gave him the look. This house was nice, but it just wasn't going to work for them.

He gave her a kiss on the top of the head, squeezed those delicate fingers, and then smiled at their realtor. "It's nice, but I'm not sure it's what we're really looking for. Can we something else in our price range, please?"

When You're Dancing

She grinned, letting him pull her in and settling into position with him. The hand he didn't hold lifted to rest on his shoulder, her thumb rubbing circles near his collar bone. "I try~" Junko chirped, looking proud of herself.

Her eyes widened. "Oh? Okay." The waltz had been tricky, remembering those steps and trying not to step on his toes. But she was willing to try! Junko glanced down at their feet to see where his were in relation to her own before looking up at Seiji again. "Mm! Ready..do I step forward now or..?"

House Hunting Redux

Junko tilted her head into the kiss with a content sound before turning to the demon with an apologetic smile. The demon chuckled and nodded, gesturing for the two to head up the stairs before him. "I figured as much. I tried to tell them finished basements were a major selling point for some creeple, but they didn't care." He shook his head. "Nothing to worry about. I already had two more houses I planned on showing you two today, it's not often that creeple pick the very first house they're shown anyway." Shrugging, he followed the two up the stairs.

Once they were outside and given the address to meet the demon at, Junko turned to Seiji and took both of his hands in hers. She leaned forward, resting her chin on his chest and looking up at Seiji. "That house seemed too crowded and squished in, and all I could think about was a client having to make their way to my work room through whatever our scarelings will do during playtime." Pouting blood red lips, she squeezed his hands. "Hopefully the next one is better, mm?"

Who's Who

It was beginning to bother Junko that she kept missing these things. Not that she wanted to be involved, but she was missing major events happening not far from her and she wasn't informed of them until a long, long time later. A lot's been happening? How did she not know of this? But she managed a slight smile and a nod for Seiji. "I'll call Yaya, too...is Yaya okay? Marosa?" She was certainly starting to feel like a poor friend at this rate.

The kiss to the temple helped a little, at least.

"..Ehhh..." Her parents were a given. They were on a strict no-invite list. Her grandmother..wasn't much better, honestly... "Nnnnnooooo...my grandmother lives too far away, and while she and Madame aren't..awful...they're very old fashioned. I was never really comfortable visiting them." She shrugged. "Your parents are perfect, the rest of my family is, well...in this list." Mostly, at least.

When you're dancing

He chuckled at her nerves, it was cute, and incredibly endearing. "You step as I step."

And th first would be slow, giving her time to react, then as the settled into motion he'd count allowed, just as he had with the waltz, hold on her hand and hip firm. When they needed to turn he'd press with his fingers, tip his head as a cue, silent directions that were easy to follow.

House hunting redux

Seiji made a sound in agreement, watching the demon go before turning back to his fiancé, pulling her into a hug and rubbing his hands up and dowb her back. "Agreed, and I really don't want to have to worry about finishing half complete renovations." They already had enough on their plate without having to worry about that as well.

He took a moment for himself, just to hold onto her, to knead the tips of long fingers inorite her back. No mater how ready, house hunting was still stressful. If they didn't just take a few moments to unwind, the process could become overwhelming.

With a kiss to her brow he stepped back and toke her hand, smiling down at her. "Ready?"

Who's who

The ghost could only shrug a second time. "I haven't gotten a chance to talk to any of them, this is just what I've heard, or seen in passing. Marosa's up and about though, and Yaya seems frazzled."

He leaned his head against her's, cheek bumping her cheek affectionately. "We don't have to invite anyone you don't want to." In regards to her family. As far as Seiji was concerned he was her family, and his parents. The people that had raised her were just that. They didn't earn the right to be called family.

Who's Who

Junko made a content sound when he bumped her cheek, turning her head to lay a kiss against his cheek and then nuzzled her face into it. It upset her that she couldn't invite everyone she had once considered family, namely someone she had idolized for a very long time...at least Seiji was comforting.

"Is there anyone I don't know that you'd like to invite?"

When We're Dancing

Junko giggled, nodding as she followed Seiji's lead. She squeaked when she stepped on his foot, squeezing his hand and his shoulder as she apologized. But Junko had always been a quick learner, it didn't take her too long to catch on.

After a bit she slowed, looking up at Seiji with a smile. "Can we try it with music?"

Priorities

Junko let out a low purr as she cuddled up against Seiji, nuzzling her cheek against his chest and closing her eyes. Small fingers ran up and down his arm, tracing the lines of his muscles until her hand finally settled on his shoulder. She was quiet, as usual, while she recovered control of her breathing again, simply reveling in Seiji's presence for now.

Eventually she opened her eyes, turning her head just enough to look up at him. She smiled, rolling onto her stomach and propping herself up with her forearms on his chest, her fingers reaching out to idly toy with the piercings under his lip. "You know, I just realized something.." She tilted her head, eyes widening. "We're about to get married, but we haven't talked about our honeymoon at all."

Who's who

He gave a small shake of his head. Moving only enough to convey his meaning, not withing to lose the contact of her arm cheek against his face. "No. You'vee met or know everyone that's ever had any significance in my life."

The good, the bad, and everything in between.

When we're dancing

He didn't so much as blink as she trod on his foot. Really it didn't hurt, it never did. She didn't weight much at all, and the toes of the shoes weren't the dangerous bits anyways.

The request for music had him smiling down at her, and he gave a small nod. "Sure we can. I've got it queued up on your radio.

Priorities

Seiji remained more or less wrapped around the smaller ghoul, soaking in her heat, the pound of heart through her skin, and the steady, quick rise and fall of her chest as she caught her breath.

The gentle brush of fingers below his lip had him moving his head in a lazy attempt to n** the offending digits, but he really didn't mind. "I've been thinking about it," he admitted after a quiet handful of seconds, voice deep but lazy. "Hadn't settled on anything yet, but got a few places in mind."

Priorities

Sharp teeth caught her fingertip and she giggled, giving his lips a playful tap in retaliation. She even leaned in to n** at his nose. "What've you been thinking?" Junko asked eagerly, lying down atop of him with her hands folded on his chest and her chin resting on them. "I'm figuring since I've been planning the wedding, you get final say in all the honeymoon stuff. That's fair, right?" The wedding was just one day, one party. The honeymoon was as many days as they wanted, and just for the two of them.

"So what'd you have in mind?" Other than the obvious typical honeymoon activities, she was sure. Junko almost giggled again. It wasn't as if they didn't do that nearly every day, she'd like to think Seiji had plenty of other ideas for activities.

House Hunting Redux

Junko melted against Seiji as he pulled her in to rub her back. Her own hands found their way under his shirt to lightly drag her nails down his back, her face nuzzling against him. "Mm, not immediately, at least, yeah?" She turned her head to look up at him, lips pouted. "I'm sure any house we get, we'll eventually think up some project to do in it." It was inevitable, she was sure, especially with a growing family.

Her eyes closed, her body relaxing against Seiji while he massaged her back. It always did wonders for her when he did this, she'd have to repay the favor later when they were done for the day. Her nails raked down his spine one last time as he kissed her before she finally untangled herself from her fiance. "Ready~." She grinned up at him, bringing their hands up to kiss the back of his hand before heading off to find the house they'd been given the address for.

The house was in a beautiful neighborhood, one Junko recognized. It was further from the school, though it wouldn't be hard for an undead or a ghost to make the trip on foot, but she definitely would need some other mode of transportation to get to their simply because...she was lazy and tired easily. Everything else she was pretty sure she could handle. Her apartment was in the middle of town, this house was on the outskirts. It wasn't an insane distance. That was fine.

The moment she laid eyes on the house her heart skipped a beat.

It was a classic Victorian-style home with a wrap-around porch in the front, an already growing garden in the front that had likely been left there by the previous owner, and massive windows. She could only imagine what it looked like inside. The proud looking demon realtor was waiting for them, gesturing to the house behind him with a wide smile. "Bigger than the last one, by far. Five bedrooms, two and a half bathrooms, an attic and a basement. I checked before you arrived, the basement is finished, and I think you'll love it."

Junko's eyes widened. Five bedrooms. Well..maybe they could use one as a nursery and then change it to a guest room for his parents later. Maybe. They walked into a grand living area, and already Junko could see an opening into what looked like a large kitchen. And the stairs leading up to the next floor were lovely. Junko squeezed Seiji's hand, and it was clear from her face she was trying to remain serious and not become a giddy little squeal monster.
