Watching and waiting he was happy to see the youma toddle away from the person after nothing, or at least nothing that anyone but it could see. "He'll follow what he sees, nothing we'll see." He answered with a shrugging of his shoulders. he was used to his magic by now and what it did. he'd made sure to use the stronger of his two attacks just to try and insure it would follow the wisps. He figured the more drawing of the two would work best in this case.
Turning his green eyes on the civilian and than the knight he shook his head. "You can get her and run. We leave him and he'll just go for someone else." And as much as he might rather be elsewhere he did have a duty and he'd been working, over the course of two years, on accepting it and fulfilling his duty. "I'll handle it." Already he was looking for anything he could use to hit it with, even if he knew it would break his spell. It was best to hit it now before it had it's bearings. Breaking his spell was an inconvenience but a necessary one in order to take it out.
Settling, for the moment, on a trash can lid he grabbed it and went for the frisbee throw as best he could, aiming toward it's head or face area. Strickenized It's ok, I figured as much. You got an event going and work plus didn't you recently move? So yeah, it's all good. ::Snuggles::

"Sounds easy enough. Rescue the damsel, GPS a hospital, drop and move on." Or, really, go back to his car and potentially find a ticket for illegal parking. Scholomance felt no particular kinship with the girl, and none of the bleeding heart antics that compelled other senshi and knights to take to the streets as nameless protectors. However, dealing with the girl entailed escaping the situation, and Scholomance detested tussles. He decided against attempting to help Chaldene - the boy seemed to know what to do regardless - and any potential assistance he lent might only prove injurious.
Scholomance waited a stretch of time until the mantis creature wandered away from the unconscious woman. Walking down the alley quietly proved nerve-rattling, as any step might loose gravel or crunch discarded wrappers that might draw its attention. With eyes focused on the beast, the page struck a tin can with the tip of his boot and froze so immediately and completely that he felt certain his heart stopped. Seconds passed with the mantis still chasing its own imagination, and only when Scholomance felt certain he could breath again, he started toward his target.
Upon reaching her, he found her very much alive and relatively uninjured. The claws hadn't pierced her; he found no blood. Slipping one of her limp arms over shoulder, he hoisted the girl up and struggled with the load of dead weight. Humans, he found, proved terribly inconvenient to hoist off the ground. No amount of fumbling and configuration felt particularly right, so he set her back down and opted for the fireman carry. It worked well enough.
He kept his gaze on the mantis while retreating from it, and waited until he reached conversational distance with Chaldene to speak to him. "Alright, I'm off with her. So much for finding something fun to do tonight..." He commented offhandedly. Starting toward the mouth of the alley, he shot a last glance over shoulder toward the shadowy creature, then started around the corner and out of sight.

He really should destroy the youma, he knew it, he knew it would just go for someone else but...but the civilian did need to get to a hospital and while he knew the Page could handle it did he really wanna stick around? Biting down on his bottom lip as the idea floated about in his mind he tapped his foot and decided to act one more time before he would turn and follow the other.
Rather than a garbage can top he went to find something heavier and harder, finding a broken brick on the ground, he hefted it in one hand and threw it aiming for the creatures head before he turned and took off after the other two.
"Once we drop her off at the hospital we can find something. But I do suggest powering down before we get where people can see us and see what car we enter. i doubt you want people knowing where a terrorist lives." He said quickly as he powered himself down, the woman had no chance of seeing him do so as she seemed rather unconscious; at least as far as he could tell. "You'll get used to this sort of thing happening in the city - and more including space travel." he stated with a shrugging of his shoulders. It was a lot of strange things which they dealt with but once you dealt with it for a while you got used to it, sad as that was. He didn't know of the others opinion of being a knight, maybe one day he'd find out, but the other didn't seem to want to throw himself into a fight, and he wasn't sure why but he also didn't see it as his place to ask. Chaldene figured it was because the other was new to it all, which would explain it really as it would make sense. Not to mention he was new to this city and all the chaos which went on here, literally and figuratively.
Following the other off, away from the youma, he let himself power down when it was safe and continued to follow away from the alley and what it held inside of it. Strickenized (I think that last sentence is better?)
