3 damage Dealt Ah, later then - she had to focus on not taking hits like that. Keionx didn't want Athene to think her unable to fight - she didn't want any of the scouts to think that ill of her! She didn't want to think that way of herself, but lately... Lately... No, she needed to just fight. Things would all make sense - and she'd have her questions all ready - when it was done... right? To her surprise, she managed to score a hit on the older troll - a not terrible one, at that! That was good. She would have to do better, though... PeanutButterpies its ok because ur here now <3

Even with putting all her focus on Kei, she still was unable to dodge everything. Gritting her teeth against the hit, a small grunt came from her at the blow. That weapon hurt and she put out a feeble hit to try and retaliate, but it wasn't good enough. She'd have to try again, after she caught her breath.

She pulled back her sword before it's arc could give Athene too much of an opening and settled into a guard stance. Even with the miss from Kei and a chance to grab her breath, the other troll was quick and able to go on the defensive. Uselessly she missed again and in frustration she stepped back, hoping she would hit again next round.

The hit Kei had gotten on Athene was very good and she gave a small cry of pain as she felt it hit, pain running through her. She hadn't been paying enough attention, had let herself get too complacent. Gritting her teeth she flung her weapon out, managing to get a hit herself finally.
"The Scouts? What about them?" She asked, wondering what Kei had to ask, what this was about.
HP: 6/20

All of her breath came out in a sharp sound as she dropped to the ground, legs folding under her. "Time! Time, I'm done. You win," Athene laughed, putting her garrote down and taking a breath. Kei really fought a good fight and in any case, she didn't want to talk about this while trying to attack the girl.
"The scouts, they're just another part of the rebellion. We're no different, except we aim to... incapacitate but not kill. Other than that, there's nothing that sets us apart. Can even move through the ranks normally, if you wish. I heard Vremea is a little higher up now, although I haven't talked to her in some time," Athene replied, giving the girl what small knowledge she knew. To be honest, she wasn't even sure the scouts were recognized in the rebels as something different. It had just been a name that had been attached to their group.

PeanutButterpies Wanna move on to a chatty rp? Keionx offered a hand to help her up, face flushed and mood significantly better. ”Can you tell me... more about the Rebels?” she said, concerned. Incapacitate but not kill... What had her twin gotten into? Had he killed? Somehow – despite Alternia being Alternia – the thought made her feel... odd. Of course her lusus would have killed – he was strong, and death happened, but Zariah... ”And maybe... about you? Why you're with them?” She knew they were big questions, risky questions... for all Athene knew, Keionx could be a spy. Keionx didn't know what she was, though. Not anymore.

"Thank you," She said, taking the hand and pulling herself up, giving a moment to dust herself off. This was certainly a visit she was going to remember and she offered the girl a smile. "I can answer all that, to the best of my abilities rather," Athene told her, gathering her weapon in her hands so she could put it away. She didn't have all the answers, but she could try to help Kei out. It was the least that she could do, she thought.
