Camelot looked at the strange little shard in wonder. It looked like a starseed, in its way, but small, and reflective. He felt the Chaos in it, and realized that was all he was feeling. With a living being, there was more to an Aura than just Chaos. There was a person attached to it, the starseed the housed the Chaos, even if it was faint and strangled under its hold. This, whatever it was, was different.

He had never seen, or felt, anything like it.

"This is yours? You took it from mirrorspace?" He caught up quickly on the other details, Chaonis holding on to Navi as all eyes lingered on the little crystal she had brought back with her from that place. Camelot could not take his eyes off of it, much like Hadaya had not been able to. The cat could feel the same thing he was, perhaps, or maybe they both had their own attachments to it.

Camelot snapped out of his daze, his thoughts clearing for a moment as he stepped back.

"Navi, what your holding feels like the complete opposite of my sword," he shook his head, doubting she would know what that meant. He put his hand over the empty sheath at his side, holding his fingers to his palm as if he were gripping something, then pulled back. With a flash of green light, a shimmering crystal sword appeared in his hand, and he showed it to her in order to explain. "I take this to be a sword of Order. This crystal holds the powers to purify and power those under the White Moon. What you're holding... it feels like Chaos itself. A small handful of it."

Chaonis watched, gripping Navi closer to him when he heard what his dad was saying. Something made entirely out of Chaos, pulled out of Mirrorspace, was probably very dangerous. He did not understand the connecting between it and Navi, however.

"It feels like the Chaos inside Navi," Hadaya said feebly, quietly. He nuzzled against the Dark Mirror Senshi with his eyes closed tightly. He was as close to her chest as he could possibly get.

Camelot nodded his head.

She hadn't been scared a moment before, not with Chaonis at her back and Hadaya purring like a little motor in her arms, but as Camelot stepped back the relief she'd been feeling started to fade into unease. She shifted in place, leaning a little heavier against Chaonis as the arm around Haddy tightened as the knight reached for an empty hilt and drew from it a crystal sword. And he was right, Navi could feel it, above every other order aura surrounding her, that pure presence pressing against her. It made her nervous.

"What do I do with it? I can't take it back." Not after everything she'd gone through to get it. But she also didn't want it in her possession, either. As attached as she felt to it, the thing would draw too much attention. On top of that, the senshi feared just how closely she and it were connected. If anything happened to it, if it got damaged in anyway, what happened to her?

Haddy's small, worried voice brought her attention down to him, and she kissed the top of his head reassuringly. "It'll be alright, kitten." She hoped it wasn't a lie.

When she lifted her head again all the fear and exhaustion was there in her eyes. She just wanted this night to be over, whatever that meant. She was so tired. Her body ached down to her core. "I don't know what to do. What do I do?" Her voice broke, tears spilling from her eyes to cut through the light dusting of dirt on her cheeks.

"Navi. I want to try something. If this is Chaos, then perhaps this sword... perhaps I can purify it. Don't cry, please." Camelot stepped forward to comfort her, but Chaonis was already there. He stepped back, realizing that he was not needed in that department. Though he treated everyone like his kids, they were all adults. And even his own actual son was growing up far too quickly.

"I've got you," Chaonis said gently, into Navi's ear. "I'm here. I'm not letting go."

Camelot waited, until he felt like he was able to try his plan. He lifted his sword, which was singing to him with energy, responding to the strong presence of Chaos and calling for Order. He closed his eyes, holding his sword in front of him, pointed up to the sky, for a moment as he channeled his energy and calmed himself.

He approached it as he would a purification for a Nega, focusing on the energy around him, and the forces that would be in a momentary war as he pushed the Chaos out of what should be a starseed, though this was a different situation entirely than what he was used to. No one was kneeling, for one thing, and he was not Knighting anyone. Instead, he opened his eyes and put his sword gently forward, resting it in the air before the crystal before tipping it forward, the blade touching it at last.

He let out a surprised sound as he felt the push and tug of Chaos and Order meeting, and he focused on pushing the Chaos out. Purifying. It had been something he felt he needed to do, needed to try, though what the end result might be he could not guess. Was this the first step to being able to fight Chaos at its source? What was this crystal, exactly.

There was a silent promise in the air that all would be revealed, as light engulfed them, and the Chaos began to burn away.

She had her reservations, of course, because none of them knew what purifying the thing would do. It might not even work, honestly. This was all uncharted territory, and she was understandably frightened by the unknown. Who wouldn't be, in her shoes?

She felt Chaonis' arms tighten around her a second before his voice warmed her ear, and she tipped her head to press her brow into his chin, eyes closing as she tried to stem the flow of tears. A soft whimper escaped before she could stop it, but it was the last sound she made before drawing in a few deeper, more controlled breaths. A minute, maybe two, and she opened her eyes again to look up at the knight, nodding mutely.

All the same, she watched the sword with obvious trepidation, tension singing through her small body. She was very nearly clinging to Haddy, clutching him in a near painful embrace as she the glowing blade of the weapon lowered to hover over her outstretched hand.

There was a second to rethink this, to close her fingers and pull it away. Her lips had even parted, a frightened protest on her tongue, but the two forces connected and all that came out was a high, startled gasp.

Shock melted into discomfort, discomfort grew into pain. As order ate across the shard in her hand it felt as if a fist was closing around the senshi's chest, crushing her. Staggering, the arm around Haddy loosened until his small body slipped from her grip entirely. She made a grab for Chaonis' arm as her knees buckled, nails scrapping over the plastic of his armor as she fell.

Collapsing to her side, Navi struggled to fill her lungs, but every breath was high pitched and panicked. Her free hand had groped for the broach on her chest, but the other had curled tightly around the shard--the seal--sharp corners digging into her palm. She couldn't breath!

It hurt! God it hurt. When she could finally draw a decent breath it rattled through her lungs, an awful gasp that turned into a tortured cry. Over and over, echoing through the park as the mirror coating on the seal cracked and crumbled.

But the seal was connected to the girl. To the starseed in her chest. Mirror coating was fading, flaking away, bit by agonizing bit.

It was a slow process, but as the minutes stretched on and on relentlessly the dark mirror senshi was changing. The darkness began to lighten. The transparent overly under her bust just faded away. Cloth shifted, gathered, pulled and parted. The eyes, markers of her court, closed, and soft green replaced them.

Eventually the shrieking faded, not because the pain had receded, but because she simply didn't have anything left to give. She lay on the concrete, or in Chaonis' arms, as the chaos was forced from her body, whimpering, weeping, shaking.

It was as the last feathers of her eternal wings finally lost all traces of darkness that the pain finally relented, but she wasn't the girl she had been before. No traces of chaos remained, but the bright warmth of order glowing like a beacon.

She wasn't a dark mirror senshi any longer.

Camelot stepped back once his part in things was done, feeling dizzy and tired, but noting he did not feel like he was about to black out or power down, as was often the case when he purified Negaverse soldiers. It had not taken him long during the process to realize that was what he was doing: the Chaos was tied to Navi herself, and by his attempt to cleanse the little crystal, he was purifying her in the process.

Somehow, she had brought her own Chaos out of Mirrorspace, and found a way to leave that court to join the White Moon.

Chaonis had held on to her through the entire process, though Hadaya had dropped from her arms and scrambled around them for the most of it, unable to do much. Even when they were curled together on the floor, Chaonis whispering reassuring, albeit slightly panicked, things to Navi as she struggled. Her pain seemed to hurt him, and he was very ready to punch his dad in the face for doing something so reckless and stupid without knowing what he was doing. But she quieted, and he found himself holding not a Dark Mirror Senshi, but a White Moon one.

"She'll be okay, Chaonis," Camelot said gently. "Let's take her home. Hadaya, come on, I'll carry you back." He stood and Hadaya came over to him hesitantly, not wanting to leave Navi's side. But Chaonis picked up the Senshi of Tumbleweeds, and it was clear that he was going to be the one to take care of her.

He nodded at his father and the troop set off, heading back to their home, Hadaya doing his best to keep their auras masked, though Camelot helped by powering down for the walk.
