Anabelle's eyes drifted down to her daughter when the young lady mentioned her desire to join in, a look of soft amusement. She could only imagine just how Eva had managed to catch Evren while she was walking, and it was even easy to imagine how she'd attempted to wiggle her way into joining.

Evren seemed like a nice and polite girl. Kidnappers didn't come that young, and certainly wouldn't have introduced themselves to a parent - Anabelle assured herself.

"Let me give you my number. I'm sure your parents and I can set something up sometime." It was the safest option, but more than that, it actually gave Evren a way out, if, just perhaps she didn't really want a young child tagging along with her and slowing her down. Just in case she was too polite and didn't want to break the child's heart. Anabelle, after all, knew just how pushy Eva could be when she wanted to.

"Cat walking play date!" Eva giggled, clapping her hands together. She could hardly wait. Maybe it would even be tomorrow! And maybe she'd even get to hold one of the leashes!!

Taking the offered card Anabelle was happy and relieved to see that it belonged to a vet, any further (unreasonable mother) worries that the cats were just a ploy to kidnap her only baby fading immediately. And she nodded, returning the girl's smile as she carefully tucked the card into her pocket.

"I'll go ahead and try to ring you guys up in a couple of days then. I think it's getting pretty close to the time for Flash and Smoochie's yearly vaccinations anyway, so I can see about maybe scheduling an appointment for that too."

Lowering her hand a little, she gave Eva a tiny little wiggle of her oversized ponytail, a signal the little girl had come to know quite well. "It was lovely meeting you Evren."

"Thank you for walking me home and playing with me!" Eva piped up, having in her excitement forgotten the little bit of politeness until her mother reminded her.

"I hope we can all play again soon! You and me and your sisters and the kitties!"
