Hades nearly laughed, but his face portrayed nothing. He continued to look serious as he spoke, explaining, "Cerberus will listen so long as you have Persephone's power. There's no leash that can keep him contained besides our presence." The Goddess nodded in agreement, a small smile on her face as she reached out to pat the top of the canine's middle head. The beast leaned into her, and she knelt beside him to give him a hug. Standing up, she turned her attention to Amos as her husband gave Cerberus his own goodbye. Hades would never admit it, but Cerberus was almost a closer friend to him than Persephone.

The Goddess moved to embrace Amos, her arms wrapping around the man cor a few seconds. She eventually leaned back, showing a motherly smile before giving him a kiss on the forehead and allowing her power to transfer over to the mortal. When it was finished, she stepped back, taking ahold of Hade's arm for support. The sudden lack of energy was expected, but she woukd still need to take it easy until Amos returned.

Danny

Danny smiled lightly as Hades agreed to listen to him after Amos was gone. He remained silent as he stood there watching the three, nodding a bit to Amos when he said that he needed him to send him topside. He watched as the two gods said their goodbyes to their rather ferociously cute three headed dog before Persephone finally gave the power over to Amos. Once Danny was sure Amos had recieved the power, he walked over to the young man. "Well, good luck topside, we may not see each other again, but I'll make sure to leave you a way back to the upper world when you come back down here." Danny said cheerfully to Amos before putting a hand on his shoulder. "Do your best so that we don't have to." He said to the hunter with a bright smile gave a thumbs up with his other hand before Amos vanished from sight along with Cerberus. The man would find himself back in the alley he was in with Danny earlier with not much time having gone by and a shadow wolf there with a device that will track Lily's location. Once the shadow wolf gave the device and a note explaining how to use it to Amos, the wolf disappeared into the shadows.

"Now then, now that the youngster is gone... It's time for what I wanted to speak about." Danny said with his slightly more serious tone as he waved his hand and summoning a rather comfortable chair for himself and a comfortable couch for Hades and Persephone to sit together on, mainly for the sake of the Goddess who seemed a bit drained after giving her power to Amos. Once he was seated as well as the two gods, he began to speak. "Ten years ago, I felt something that shouldn't really possible unless it was a god with an ability similar to that of Hermes or a dragon like me who can use spactial magic and temporal magic to their highest forms, which as far as I know, I am the only one. But this, this was neither a dragon nor a god, heck it wasn't even magic, but someone managed to break through the fabric of dimensions and either come or go to another version of Earth and our universe.. Now, I wouldn't normally bring it up since when I investigated it, it was in a room of what seemed to be young boy in an area of humans. The size of the then closed rip in dimensions was about the size of a door normal humans would use, though what's even more surprising it was almost as if the rip had never happened. Of course I searched around for who could have done it, but I didn't find them even after a few days, so I assumed the one who did it left this dimension, hence why I didn't mention it. Now comes the main point of the matter, it happened once again a few hours ago. The same exact feeling, it was definitely not magic, but it was an ability that let whoever had it easily pass through the threshold between universes. Twice in ten years, obviously I would be really curious about this even though I didn't find the culprit again, which for me is strange since I doubt there would be more than one person with such a convenient ability just suddenly leaving... Do either of you possibly know about this?" He questioned the two gods with obvious serious curiosity. Who wouldn't be interested in a person who can rip a whole between dimensions without using any magic, and it was only thanks to affinity in time and space magic that he was even able to notice it since no mana was used.

Through a whirling vortex of arcane power, Amos and the hellhound, Cerberus, returned to Hades. The sword in his hand felt incredibly heavy, even for Amos as he temporarily held the power of Persephone. The demonic power flowing through Mephistopheles seemed to be overwhelming. But rather than show concern, Amos proceeded along the bank of the river of Styx until he found the lord and lady of the underworld still conversing with Danny the primordial dragon. Cerberus broke out into a run to return to his master's side as Amos continued with his stride. He was soaked in earthly rainwater. The deep red of his longcoat appearing more genuine and vibrant. The demonic blade in his hand dragged across the rocky banks of Styx with metal hiss. "I'm back." The white haired hunter droned. His voice seemed to echo slightly through the cavernous place. Even with the power of Persephone, Amos felt exhausted. He just wanted to hand over Lily's soul and Persephone's power and be done with it all.

The aging mercenary reached Hades and held out the sword in his hand. "One overdue necromancer soul." He said with the blade of Mephistopheles emitting its demonic power. "You should probably take the sword as well. I fear it has absorbed too much unholy power from killing undead. It might not be safe to have it exist in the mortal world." Amos then turned to Persephone. "Ok, goddess. A deal is a deal. Your power, while intoxicating, isn't meant for mortals such as myself. As much I'm probably going to regret this come tomorrow, it's time for you take it back. I know first hand of the misfortune it can bring." Even with her power, nothing could take away the hunter's scars and the weight of his conscience. For some reason, he just felt like he had done wrong.

Perhaps, it was that brief moment when he saw the humanity in Lily's eyes return and then vanish. The supernatural hunter felt a pang in his heart as he thought about it. True, the girl had caused atrocities, but for a split second, Amos thought he saw the look of terror in one's eyes when they realized they had done something horrifyingly guilty. Lily's soul would suffer for eternity because of her madness and receive absolutely no mercy for the atrocities she had caused. Amos felt pity for the girl, but wrestled the feeling away as he remembered whom Lily had murdered and all of the death and grief she had created.

Once Amos was off on his journey, the godly couple gave their attention to Danny, expressions flat as they listened to his story. Accepting his offer to sit, Persephone rested. She was tired, unused to feeling so...empty. Hades, however, stood rigid as he listened. Temporal magic was something beyond his abilities. Although the Underworld's time moved at a different speed than the Earth's, he was not the reason, and he had never cared to wonder why that was. So when Danny asked if he or his wife had any idea of what had caused the disruption, the god shook his head. "No, I'm sorry. It does sound odd, but unless it begins to affect our annual amount of soul collection, we typically ignore Earth's strange occurances." The three immortals continued to talk, discussing many things magical, even inviting the dragon to eat with them as they continued to speak.

Eventually, Amos returned, announced by Cerberus' howl of delight at seeing his master once again. As Hades welcomed back his beloved dog, Persephone stood, eagerly awaiting the return of her power. But as Amos drew closer, she studied him, worry in her gaze as she felt the demonic presence of Mephistopheles and the eerie sound accompaning the blade's scraping. However, when Amos spoke, her mind was set at ease. Despite temptation he might have been facing from the power within him and the sword, Amos was still going to stick to his end of the deal. Both Persephone and Hades were happy they wouldn't have to face another rebellion, although it was clear Amos had suffered and sacrificed to return to the Underworld alive, with Lily's soul in tow.

As Persephone moved to embrace Amos, Hades accepted the sword, his brows furrowing as he considered the weapon's tainted aura. The god stepped back. He would wait for the guests to leave before he carried out Lily's sentencing and punishment. Persephone kissed Amos' forehead, just as she had to grant him her power, but this time, she could feel her strength returning as she took a step back from the man. The tired expression she'd shown all day was gone, and she once again felt like a true goddess. "You did what you had to, and you did it excellently." she said quietly, sensing the sadness in the hunter.

Danny

"I see, well that's fine I guess. I'm just a bit worried about it since breaking through the barrier between universes isn't something that should be done, after all who knows what lies on the other side. There could be a world where the weakest is stronger than the strongest god in this world, it's that kind of troublesome." Danny said with a bitter smile as he looked at the married pair. After that comment, they started to chat about many magical things and how they've been the last few hundred years since they saw each other. He even accepted their offer for a meal and ate cheerfully, though his thoughts on that tear were still bothering him.

Soon, he had heard the howl of delight from Hades' beloved Cerberus as he ran up to the god. He watched silently as he sipped some hot cocoa as Persephone stood and went over to Amos to retrieve her power back, which he surprisingly willingly gave up and gave his ominous sword that held the soul of the necromancer to Hades. It was then Danny had thought, this hunter must be well connected, maybe he could find some information for him. "Hello there once again young man." The dragon said with a smile and a light wave as he took another sip of his drink. "I actually have a question for you that you may be able to answer. Have you noticed anything weird lately aside from the dead coming back from the grave? Like strange new people, or things you may not have seen before and possibly shouldn't exist?" Danny questioned the hunter curiously.

The lord of the underworld took away Amos' vile sword. The blade left his hand, but the weight on his conscience still lingered. Amos told himself the feeling would fade eventually. It usually does after all. He had been doing this kind of job for almost 40 years. Considering where he was at the moment, it seemed almost ironic. Amos thought he would have died a long time ago and yet he still stood among the living. Living however, was a subjective term. The hunter had an escape artist record under his belt when it came to a few religions' hells.

Persephone came forward to retrieve her power. He could see that both she and her husband were pleased to see that he was willing to hand the power back over. The hunter felt a sensation similar to having his soul drained when the goddess to back her power. The white haired man stood for moment with his hand to his head. He was dizzy and felt faint, but soon able to regain his normal strength. A small chuckle escape his lips as he thought what having the power drained from him could have also been compared to. "Well, now that business is over, I should probably get back to the world of the living. I still have more work to do."

All, was not done, however as Danny spoke. The primordial dragon had business of his own. After having the dragon, patronize the aging hunter, he asked if Amos noticed anything odd in the mortal world. The hunter raised a brow and felt a drop of rain water roll down the side of his cheek. "Shouldn't exist? For one such as yourself Danny, that's a pretty ignorant statement. If we're going by that logic. I shouldn't exist." The mortal man explained, hinting at his past. "The world is never as it seems. That is what my old mentor taught me and I have seen it for myself. Kids with shadow wolf posses that can talk, rabbit people who possess unimaginable and uncharacteristic martial prowess, all the way to the ridiculous as traversing to worlds over. So you tell me, Danny. As far I'm concerned, it's just another day with the usual suspects. Now, I believe you owe me ride topside. I've got a genie soul to find."
