He smiled, slightly watery. "I do," said Aurostibite, stroking her cheek fondly, affection and adoration lacing his voice. "I love you the most. You are my family, Mintaka, you are everything to me and I will always love you, and will always protect you the best that I can."
He took a small breath and nodded his head slightly. "I will come with y - "
But the look on Mintaka's face startled him, made him pause, and alarm rang through Aurostibite, loud and fearful. "Mintaka?" he said, reaching for her, panic rising in his voice as she clutched her chest. "Mintaka, what's wrong, what's happened what - "
He wasn't sure what was happening, if she was in pain, or if it was something else entirely. But she had settled down, her eyes wide, and Aurostibite's hands were on her shoulders, gripping tightly.
"What do you mean?" he asked, brows drawing together in concern. "Whats happened to them?"

The pang had disappeared, leaving her with nothing but the memory that it had...just happened.
It jolted her out of whatever self loathing she was in and then she looked to the mirror.
"I...I don't know." She stared at the mirror, "It..It felt like something was messing with my starseed. Like when Jet was playing around with it." She rubbed her face. "But...you didn't do anything, and...I don't know. It was weird."
She rubbed the tears away, "Do you want to go to Mirrorspace with me? I just...want to make sure everything is okay."

He didn't know what would could have made her look like that, why she would be in the pain she was, but it seemed Mintaka didn't either. Aurostibite ran a soothing hand over her hair, brushing a few stray strands away from her face.
"I'm sorry," he said softly, and then tilted his head a little, a bemused expression crossing his face. Aurostibite glanced at the mirror behind her and then back at Mintaka.
"Can I..." he started uncertainly. "I mean...am I allowed? I've never been before, are you certain it's all right for me to come with you?"
He squeezed her fingers gently. "I want to, is what I mean to say."

"There is a lot going on, it almost feels like I made the pain up...or maybe Mirror space is reacting to me." She looked at him, this time a little sheepishly. "I've been going in it a lot to study it, but it's...like space. It changes all the time."
She rose an eyebrow and then narrowed her eyes.
"I don't see why not." she pursued her lips. "I don't see dark mirrors in there ever so...." Really she hadn't seen anyone in there besides herself and the one time she took Elsa.
"Okay. Just...stick close to me. The wraiths like to visit and you are prime for energy." And then she smiled a little. "Other then that, it's a very comforting place to be." She held his hand, then touched her hand to the mirrors. Ever so slowly, it disappeared into the glass until both herself and Auro disappeared. Without a trace anymore.

He gave a nod of understanding, even if he was a little wary about following her into the mirror. "We'll figure it out," Aurostibite told her reassuringly. "I won't tell you not to worry, since I know you will anyway, but we'll figure things out."
He reached for her hand, sliding his fingers through hers and gave them a little squeeze. Aurostibite took a little breath and then followed her into the space, willing himself not to panic -
- and also reminded himself to ask her what on earth she meant by wraiths.
