Nodding as she drew her legs up, Delilah's own eyes flickered back and forth between the TV and feline. "Yes. I have been reviewing books up on the moon. In the ruins of the Silver Millennium Castle." Her eyes caught movement and winced as one of the brothers smashed into the others nose.
"It's unlike anything here on earth but I might have the numbers coming together. The drawings are easier to say the least."

Arthur finally looked away as the commercials started and moved to rest his body against her side. "Do you...fly to the moon or do you take a giant dove there? I thought only astronauts could do that. I certainly never saw moon language before. Does the Queen let you into her castle all the time? Is she the Queen of doves?"

Reaching down for the remote, Delilah hit the mute button before turning her attention back to the feline. Commercials really were louder than the TV show.
"You don't know?" Questioning as she pulled her knees up around her, Delilah had to admit surprise. "I use my senshi phone and a moon pearl. Both I got from guardians like yourself. Every full moon I can go up there. Well, any no chaos with a pearl can."
But his second question really made her brows rise. "The last Moon Queen died over a thousand years ago. The Moon Kingdom is mostly in ruins though parts of the castle still stand. I thought all guardians knew this?"

Arthur continued to state at her, blinking a few times. "Nope. I don't know your histories. I haven't really talked to any of you before. I've only just awakened a few here or there on the streets and let them be. I've only been to my first cateering a few weeks ago. They were talking about phone and it was a big mess."
He went to jump over to the table and blow in his coffee. "I didn't know you had a Queen. Sorry about your loss. I know a place that does some lovely flower arrangements."
He lapped at his coffee a moment before looking back up at her. "What's on the moon? Does your fancy pearl take you to the Queen's grave to visit?" That's the only reason why he thought she would go there.
"I've never been to a castle though."

Listening to Arthur made Delilah realize one thing: how hysterical all this sounded if you were not involved in it.
So instead, she smiled at Arthur and just slowly shook her head. "Who knew I would need to explain this to a cat." Chuckling to herself, Delilah uncurled herself from her couch position and walked towards the book case on the other side of her work desk.
"So, how much do you know about what NASA says about the moon?" She asked, returning to the couch with two things. The first was a science book on space. The second, one of her notebooks.
Flipping through the science book, she flipped it and pointed at a spot called 'Sea of Serenity'. "That is where the ruins of the castle are. A kingdom lost over a thousand years ago. Long before I was born in this life." She looked down at him. "Long before TV soap operas and coffee existed here either."

He settled beside, moving to place his paws on the book as she held it open and reading what he could. "I know that Neal Armstrong went to the moon, and that there were animals sent. That it was a big event that everyone watched. That they were good men." He repeated, bringing up back memories of Eleanor in front of the tv, stroking his back, and telling him how excited everyone was to see it on TV, but also that they didn't have a reason to be out there.
At her timeline example, his ears went back. "Grim times." No coffee and yet there were castles. Couldn't they at least improvise something?
He looked up at her. "I don't know much about space. Whatever was shown on Public Television or the newspaper."

So he knew the Apollo missions as well as many of the space ones. All very important times in human history and thus she was glad she did not need to explain them. As much as she was learning about the Moon itself, she knew that it would not come close to what anyone from NASA might know.
But it was his reaction to the idea of soap operas not being around that made her smile.
"I don't really know if coffee beans grew on the moon." Now that was something to consider. What plants used to grow there? Or did everything have to be imported.
"Well, that's alright. I didn't either until another like you brought me into this mess." With a sigh, she flipped a few pages of the book. "Now it's like playing catch up. Because what science can explain is no where near everything we have the ability to see. To do." Reaching over, she scratched his ears.
"I'll have to take you one day. Up to the moon that is."

Arthur was lost to ear scritches and turned his head, a deep, rolling purring starting at he started to knead the couch cushion with his paws.
"That sounds nice. I never been on a vacation before. I've never left the city before actually." He wondered if it was nice. Then again, it didn't have coffee.
"I wonder what moon coffee beans would taste like."

"Have you not? Well, one day you will have to come with me. Maybe even see other worlds." Delilah smiled as she continued to rub his ears. Arthur was a strange cat. It surprised her how much she liked him. Normally she wanted very little to do with their so called feline friends.
Blinking quickly to his comment, Delilah let out a light, cheerful laugh. "Now that is a very good question. I might have to keep my eyes out for plants now. I know I saw a vine or two. Maybe there is Moon Coffee on there. If it's good, we could market it."

Moving, he placed himself half in her lap and half on the book, looking at it as she spoke. "I'll be like those animals they send in space - but better than some monkey or dog." He looked up at her. "Do you like traveling to planets? Do you have friends living there like they live on the moon?"

Delilah couldn't help but crack a smile at that one. "Yes you would be. But something tells me you would enjoy it a tad bit better than they did." She slowly shook her head at the cat in her lap. So much for being a big tough guardian. He was a rather softy and that honestly amused her.
At his next question though, Delilah only shrugged. "I haven't done much planet traveling honestly. The one time I did, I was whisked away to a place called Hugbel to help fight a giant monster. Didn't get to spend much time there afterwards nor did I even know the senshi we were all helping."
"I haven't even been to the planet a draw my name and power from yet...."

He was quiet as he looked at her, confused. "Why haven't you?"

Truly a good and simple question. But one that made Delilah stop and take a deep breath. She was quiet for a moment before she spoke.
"Would you believe I'm a bit scared about it?" The words seemed to shake as they came from her mouth. "What I will find there. The first person I met who told me about it had tigers on hers that were trying to kill her." At least that was what Tsui had said.

He moved closer, tilting his head to let his good ear point up at her to hear better.
"Tigers are just big cats. You fight youma. You should be ok, and if not, can't you leave? What if the whole place is filled with blankets and pillows or lots of trees and grass? Or little villages of fat, slow mice." He liked that idea. "Plenty of sun for long naps too."
He smiled at her. "I can come with to keep you company. It's your place after all, but it's not going anywhere either so no rushing."

"I don't know. I assume you can." She spoke softly and drew her legs up to her chest. "It would be silly if we traveled to other planets and got stuck there. What if we landed on a place of nothinf but cheeseburgers?" Delilah had to smile a bit. "But then again, if you landed on a planet like that, would you ever leave?" "I would like that Arthur. When i get the courage to go, I'll be sure to bring you along. Save me from all the mice."
