"Not... quite like that." Lex said faintly and blinked slightly before becoming quiet. "No, I'm not gonna be alright.. " He sighed, eye closed tightly and tried to keep his emotions under control.
He had hoped that maybe they could have been something more but never actually asked. It hurt that he could never ask now, that chance was gone and worse he had been there and hadn't been able to do anything to stop it.

'Not quite like that'... Hrm. What the bloody hell did that mean? Chemistry or something? Unrequited wotsits? Special friends of an intimate nature?
Clancy frowned. He really should stop speculating, it only led to picturing things he wasn't sure he really wanted to at the moment.
"Bloody 'ell..." Clancy muttered, and then started pushing for the nurse himself. He was -not- qualified nor prepared to deal with this... And worse! He was trapped here!

Lex hiccuped and scrubbed at his eye, miserable and really wishing he could move enough to curl up and hide his face. He is probably all blotchy and he just wanted some solitude for a few moments till he could pull himself together.

Lex deflated, sad and tired and open one eye blurry at the direction of the voice and gave a short snort. "Not with you." He managed to croak out and shut his eye again, trying to focus on his breathing.

Lex snorted and laughed faintly at the absurdity of his life at the moment. "Still butchering names..." he said faintly and he really missed K.O and it hurt to think that he wouldn't get to see his face, being refereed to as fancier than a peacockazilla's arse.
