"It is not warming up if we just exchange blows," Haseo rebutted as he sliced the fireballs into mere flame bits. In a burst of speed, Haseo ran past the shockwave, using his body to cushion the shockwave and went straight for the barrier. "I have a whole summer's worth of training to regain, and you have some anger to release. Let it all out, and let's just have fun!" the undead elf laughed maniacally as he vanished and reappeared with a burst of speed that exceeded the speed of sound.

"Hiten - Hitokiri (Hidden Technique - First Cut)," Haseo sheathed his blade as he came point-blank with the barrier. In a draw of blade with the speed of breaking the sound barrier, nine-simultaneous blade attack sliced the barrier up like hot knife through butter.

"Tsubamegaeshi!! (Falling Sparrow)," the words echoed as the sound of metal ringing and echoing burst forth from the point of impact.

"So you better remember my lessons."

One by one the wolves came, wispy as the wind and yet dangerous. With his speed it was easy to dodge or just cut down the wolves. No, it wasn't the wolves that was his concern. Clearly the wolves were just distractions while Lucian loads up a big finisher.

One of the wolves caught a hold of his thigh and ripped out a chunk of rotten flesh, which with the mantra scribbled all over his body, prevented him from facing the crippling condition of damaged or lost tendons. Haseo knew that it's a do or die situation. Taking in a deep breath (even though he did not need to), Haseo swirled his blade in a circular motion as his mantra glowed. A bolt of lightning surged forward, aiming right past Lucian, but cutting it extremely close, mere millimeters from his waist. As the lightning charged forward, a crack of thunder saw Haseo emerging behind Lucian. His last and most powerful technique, Twin Charge - Lightning Step, historically stated that fell armies in one charge, had been done.

"I would have got your head, if I have my arms with me," Haseo cursed, walking over towards his left arm which was torn by one of the wolves just as he dashed. His other sword-wielding arm was still gripping onto the blade, stuck on a wooden stump some feet away from the fight. "Rotting tendons won't hold the sockets as tight before," he said, trying to wrest his left arm away from the wolf, still biting it. "A little help here?"

"So you better remember my lessons."

"Power is in the eye of the beholder," Haseo replied bluntly as he finally got hold of his badly-chewed arm. The mantra on his arms and the stump where his arm connects to his torso glowed, mild electric and muscle sinews connected the arm back to the socket. In a loud, sickening pop and crack, his left arm popped back into place, held tight and connected firmly with new muscle and tendon. "The spar could have been worse if the death of my former master did not lock up most of my powers," he commented, the same thing he said all the time. "But otherwise, it was well worth losing an arm or two," he jested as he now walked over to his other arm in the stump. Doing the same thing again, his right arm flew back towards him and rejoined the torso. Haseo flexed his arms and fingers, making sure they're connected properly. "At least there's no missing fingers," he commented. In a flash his blade sliced the stump into two, and found its way back into the sheath.

"If everything is to be evaluated by power, then there will be endless war and conflict to prove superiority," Haseo reasoned as he turned to Lucian, arms crossed. "I have my strengths in the blade, your have yours in magic. If you were to fight magic with me, it would be your victory easily. If you were to duel with blades, you're years away from being my match," he said, a small smirk showing his verbal poke.

"So you better remember my lessons."

As the conversation went on, Haseo's ethereal arms faded off, the blades vanishing even before it touched the ground, like ghosts phasing through the floor. "Guess they don't want their school destroyed without some of us having limiters on," the undead elvhen samurai/yojimbo pointed out. Haseo just scoffed at the wolf familiar. "Like dog after bone I'd say," he scowled. It was not the first time Amadeus went after his limbs. It was the same as the few previous spars, where the wolf just went after his arms or legs as chew toy. If not because of the mantras, he would have missing limbs and would be just simply dog food. Sighing, Haseo just stood there motionless, watching the wolf, a blank look on his face."You flatter," Haseo said, raising his head to Lucian's poke. "Your three wishes are something people would die for. I'd say the advantage of "owning" you would far exceed having a yojimbo who would lose limbs to a wolf," he poked back again.

"So you better remember my lessons."

"I'm sure it is," Haseo replied nonchalantly. "As people had killed for your three wishes, people had feared my strength, and had to seal me away," he added as he stood where he was, the mantra on his body glowing and fading, pulsating with power as he closed his eyes and breathed in deep. Channeling negative energy in that area, he absorbed it and used the energy to restore his wounds, the flesh regenerating and stitching themselves back up, leaving only missing skin and exposed muscle fibers.

As his magic faded, the glow subsided, leaving only residual death magick of an ancient kind. While not completely healed due to his flesh being dead flesh, it was also because of it that he qualifies for flesh grafting experiments, though he had rejected them due to his personal pursue of purity of the body, even though he was dead. "I don't want to know how to "own" you, and neither I have the intention to be so. Suffice to say, I prefer our relationship this way," he commented, eyeing a passing fly and slicing it to two within half a fraction of a second.

Haseo just rolled his eyeballs when Lucian just floats around him, studying him. It was not the first occasion of such, and as far as he knows, would not be his last. "For the ninety-sixth time, I'm not a grimoire you can pour over," Haseo said monotonously, his blade already at the djinn's neck. It was more of a serious gesture, but never ended up a deadly threat, and the djinn knows it. Maybe which was why he was never taken seriously.

"I'm sure we will," Haseo replied dully as he sheathed his blade once more. He would have to polish his blade later on. The mantra around his legs glowed, and within a few seconds, Haseo vanished in a burst of wind.
