╔══════════════════════════╗ The regular droning from two, and now three, others from the main hallway before the shelves was not irritating to Dante in the least, though he wondered how loud they had been talking for someone who was pushed neatly in the back. He was used to many talkative students in the library as his school's librarian never much cared to keep the Welsh students from speaking, and it simply made him sigh. Was no library sacred?
Blue optics peered around to see if he could see any teacher or librarian whom he could ask to check out the book from the area to go back to his own dorm. At least there he had a separate room in which he could read silently.
When the girl next to him began to stammer, he peered upward and listened intently. A garden would be gorgeous, and silent, to read in. And it would be interesting to see what Emilia could do seeing as she had said before she controlled plants with her voice.
Closing the book with a smile, he raised to his feet and offered down a hand. "I would definitely love to come!"

Josiah as was think on what to exactly search for his ability, something he hadn't thought of. He actually never knew or gave it a name. It felt different from calling it a barrier, that would mean that he could have it anywhere. No his aura was limited to his body and a few meters. Something that seemed like a downgrade even from Barrier Manipulation. So what exactly was his ability.
It felt solid, but not really. He did conjure it with his mind and he was sure it was a physical aura. Something felt different, connected to his body. Josiah was made unsure about how any of his powers worked. It was thought based. He thought it, it did it. Whatever IT was...
He thought about it's usage though for a moment. The ability to kill. Not a very special one to anything. Everything can kill you. Yet somewhere down inside him he didn't want to admit his anger, rage, or even the hint of dominance he held in those moments where he killed to protect the ones he loved. And later finished a feud with killing--He didn't want to admit that the only way he knew how to stop something was kill it entirely
Suddenly the sounds of feasting echoed in the library. Kinda loud for a library. And Josiah had unwillingly had been to some, just because his father was a skirt chaser, didn't mean he loved a good book. He hoped that fetish for the hard, spinal to cover, thicker in the middle rubbed off on him. Turns out Josiah kinda did, but he still was into girls more like his old man. He posed with his hands behind his head and body a bit more tense as he tried to focus on his dilemma. The crunching made him jump a bit, with a sudden eye twitch he sighed. He shoved his hands in his pockets to see the blue haired woman speak towards him.
He noted the conversation with boy with glasses and the red head, but since it didn't concern him he was distant about it. He looked at the woman, he had yet to meet a girl with his height yet, and this one didn't deliver--still she was tall. However as he studied her actions, the blatant disrespect for the library riled his father's gene inside him, but he ignored them. Rather not touch the dad stuff right now
"Yeah, hey you know you should tend to be more quiet in a library. Yer gonna get in trouble with whatever authority figure there is around here. "Josiah said with a bit of squint and raised eyebrow, his warning wouldn't provide any good response. He would bet on this, somehow first thoughts weren't good ones maybe he should just stop with predictions. Josiah wondered what this one would suddenly burst out with.
Directly going against his previous statement he analyzed her. Josiah couldn't see much. Nothing direct, besides her carnivorous diet and the casual nature about it. She bit through it even. She must have so physical augment to her, but he still had nothing to really go on.
Charl crossed an arm across her middle and rested the elbow of her other arm in her palm, here was something different. A , seemingly, perfectly healthy young man confronted with a very attractive young woman, a famous one even, and there were no fake smiles, no winks, no 'hey ma' lemme get'cho numbah'. Just a simple statement and a raised eyebrow. Was he legitimately not interested or just playing hard to get? "And just who's this so called authority figure you speak of?" The blue haired lass flashed a smile and stepped up to Josiah until her body was barely an inch from his "Is it you I wonder? A teacher pretending to be a student so they can catch the bad boys and girls in the act? That's pretty devious if you ask me" Oh the irony. Suddenly Charlotte lifted Josiah's shirt up and tilted her head with a 'hmm' as she examined his body. "Not bad" She hummed as she poked at his abdominals and lightly pinched his side's before moving around to his side to feel up and down his arms. "Big but I've definitely seen bigger. Enough mass to fat ratio that anyone with a discerning eye can tell you work for something like this without being at the gym pumping iron 24/7. " She swooped around the back, quick as a fox, touching from the young man's butt, up his back and to his shoulders before stepping to the front again where she placed both hands on his stomach and slowly worked her way upward "Lean muscle, developed from a small but high protein and vitamin diet. Skin's relatively unblemished so no steroid use, I'm thinking paleo diet? No...no definitely the Hunter 's diet, going mountain man I see." Her hands stopped at Josiah's cheeks as she forged her face to angle down as she turned it side to side with her surprisingly strong grip. "Good looking too, love the scar in fact. Gives you sort of a ...tough guy look. I don't see many of your caliber of fitness outside of the beach. Tell me, where do you come from and why haven't you stepped into my life until today?"

As Josiah went to his initial objective, his thoughts went else where than the girl trying to make his notice. He slowly forgot Lightning's presence. Josiah wondered about if she was staying to herself or just enveloped elsewhere. Suddenly Josiah's ego boost needing personality faded as he was faced with the insecurity of dealing with his idea of his power and what it was.
His power situation had to wait for a moment as he listened to the blue-haired girl speak further. Her questioning of his warning was a bit strange. He didn't really suspect it needed to be scrutinized. As she crept up to the boy his face, contorted a bit to a quizzical and dubious formation. His barrier flickered and formed. the low light of the library hid it's activation. He didn't think he put off the air of a teacher, sure he was a bit tall, but nothing much. Josiah thought himself a bit too rough looking for a teacher. He wasn't much of a authoritative figure. In fact if he thought about it--how was he not shunned as a delinquent yet? He decided to drop it.
As the blue haired girl reveal his abdomen to the world his face contorted even further. Josiah seethed for a moment. He didn't like being man-handled like the way he was. Her actions weren't too appreciated. as his brow furrowed his teeth bore a bit. Josiah didn't like this molestation, not really matching his idea of a good time. His aversion to even the faintest bit of hollow actions like these made him react adversely.
Once she touched his butt he became in enraged. He imagined if his body were like needles--able to pierce even the toughest skin. Suddenly it was his thoughts came reality. Small invisible needle-like points pricked up all over his body.
He snatched her hand, needles barrier and all and enclosed his hand and "cuffed" her. He didn't hear much of what she was saying. Not really caring as more of his rage blocked it out. He looked at the girl, his eyes smoldering in a bit of rage. He didn't yell or shout or even pull the old huff and puff. Till he said "I don't like this. I'm setting this boundary now." He tightened as his barrier grew more tighter. "I'm not a guy that likes to get felt up."
"Now please", He let go of the woman, trying to do his own research"Be quiet, in the library." His voice didn't echo or carry. Yet it was anger filled. and powerful.
Josiah turned away from her, and walked else where, he passed by the green orb and spoke, "Mind-Based Abilities" He removed himself from the equation, secluding himself, taking a swig of his flask as he left. He couldn't do this, not when he felt so vulnerable.
Charlotte didnt flinch as her wrist was grabbed and and she felt pinpricks digging into her skin, she simply wore the same smile as her pupils dilated almost completely and she stated into his eyes. Quite the gentleman this one, trying to make a lady bleed without the first warning even getting out of his mouth. "Well aren't you all kinds of scary?" she smiled as the tall boy walked away. Her eyes returned to normal as she looked down at the the flesh of her wrist covered in sharp , blue grey streamlined scales, shark skin for lack of a better term, covered in tiny indents. So the boy was some kind of barrier user? or maybe he transformed his skin? Who knew, all that Charlotte knew was that he wasnt in her class and wouldnt be a problem for her. Still smiling the blue haired lass returned her flesh to normal as she began gnawing on the bone again before exiting the library to find some form of entertainment -exit-
╔══════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════╗ The abilites that the library held were unnerving to say the least. Within a school environment it was understandable and logical to have this facility available, considering the type of lessons that would be attended. They weren't going to be exactly suitable to the knowledge that the regular human society possessed, so the archives and words locked away within the energy of this structure would be of utmost importance. However, Lightning couldn't shrug off the uncomfort that was brooding inside of her. After hearing Josiah mutter an individual's name, only to be almost instantaneously presented with information on their exploits, Lightning was very concerned about what the library would have stored on her. Of course, her real name was likely to be the password to unlocking such content and this was a piece of her that was not going to be shared.
More company had arrived within the grand room, diverting Josiah's attention. He appeared to also have a brooding discomfort within him after doing some research, making Lightning wonder if this place had that effect on all those who entered. The intirgue within her began to rapidly grow, yet she was not prepared to hand out such delicate information with others around. So, as the blue haired newcomer and Josiah began to leave, Lightning inhaled deeply and composed herself for what she may be about to learn. Well, it wasn't necessarily learning if the content recorded was of events and situations that she had already lived, but she needed to acknowledge what this energy knew about her. Carelessly, she did not check whether Josiah had left and uttered her true name quietly."Emilia Woodard."Numerous books began to arrive, which was returned with a light sigh from Lightning. What had she gotten herself into. ╚══════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════╝
Emil looked back at the others when he heard talking. He decided to ignore it because what could he do? He didn't want to get involved in that. Never, not at all.
He expected a no from Dante so imagine the surprise he felt when the blue eyed man said 'yes'. Emil felt like choking, and was... Sort of already doing that. He adjusted his throat, and nodded to Dante. "Yes... Well... Come with me." he said as he stiffly moved out of the massive library and to the garden.

pre-time skip
Josiah search upon a plethora a book, his struggles to learn of his abilities perplexed him. Elemental came up with, "Thought-Based" abilities. He begun to wonder if he was an elemental instead. However he did get the notice about his physical aura. He chuckled as he slid down to the floor--back towards the many books on the shelf. Only to land in a pile of books around him. Of course he maybe thought about telekinesis. However it seemed so different. After a while he begun just reading how to manipulate barriers. Things he sort of understood better than the telekinesis. Even than his own powers. Even attempting to try some out. While not successful--things such as layering and such. The closest he got was layering his hand with a "fold" shield. It was something that he wasn't really proud of to use. but felt it had a nice touch to it. Couldn't really use it at all... He suddenly noted how dark it had gotten, a blackness took his corner of the library. His eyes had gotten heavy and he fell asleep wondering where this life would take him
post-time skip Josiah had awakened in the library underneath his sprawl of books that he found comfort. He hadn't thought of it at all and he was more worried where had Bryn gone. She wasn't there and he had gotten panicked. The paleness in his face as he tried to reach over to caress with girl, only to be embracing a book about how to defend your back with a shield met with his face. He rose up. His eyes widened and then narrowed. He was disappointed with it all. Not having another warm body by his side. Something of a travesty to him. Made him feel rather alone and unwanted. He slept in his regular attire. Not the first time--but least he didn't carry a stink. His disheveled appearance only furthered his torment. A grimace that was etched into his face as the thought of not being near anything comforting. His body a bit sore from sleeping on a bed of books. Adjusting his stance he cracked his back and neck. He seethed.
A little rest didn't help at all. Sure he didn't think about his powers as much, but he felt so indifferent about other things he didn't have it on the forefront of his mind.
"I bet classes start today..." He said with a groan as he scooped a coupled of barrier analysis books from his pile. Taking along a telekinesis book by accident. Or by fate. He slowly walked out of the room and to whatever librarian that would rush him down he flipped the bird. Leaving with that sentiment.
Cᴏᴍᴘᴀɴʏ:"No one, thankfully." Wʜᴇʀᴇᴀʙᴏᴜᴛs: Hiding in the back of the library. Tʜᴏᴜɢʜᴛs:"Inhale and exhale... deep breaths..." Eᴍᴏᴛɪᴏɴᴀʟ Sᴛᴀᴛᴇ: Worried, panicked, scared
Xander has long, blond hair in a ponytail, which seems to be tipped white at the bottom.. His eyes seem to be a sea-green color, but in the right lighting, they seem to turn an icy blue. He stands at 5'11", and weighs around 174 lbs. He's pretty skinny and quite lanky, like someone who hasn't eaten in years. He really has no noticeable muscle, and one can easily see his ribcage if his shirt is off. His clothing seems to be a kind of academy-like in style. Complete with a white v-neck shirt, covered by black cloth, and with orange trim. He even has an orange tie, which reaches down to his stomach. He has detached sleeves, and a pair of black pants with black and orange tennis shoes.
Finally. Some peace and quiet! Well, except for whatever those weird scratching noises were. But it couldn't have been a person... right? Well, who even cares! Except for him, of course, since he didn't like being near people. And being trapped in a classroom with a bunch of other people didn't really help his case any. If he hadn't gotten out of there when he did, he probably would've fainted from fear. That's just how terrified he was. And he didn't have his pet with him, since said pet was still sleeping on his bed. What a lazy little bugger he was. "Well I mean, people don't like libraries, right? I should be safe in here..." he muttered, walking as far back and out of sight as he possibly could. He probably could've went back to his dorm, but everyone else might be there right now. And that was something he wanted no part of. He just needed somewhere quiet and pretty much void of other people to calm down at. Ah, if only he could make a wall of books to hide behind without getting in trouble. That would also be pretty great. He laughed at his own thoughts, finally managing to calm down some. But that didn't mean he wanted to deal with people again. He'd probably try to climb these bookcases and run out of the door if someone managed to find him. Of course, that wasn't true, but it was in his mind. His thoughts then went back to the scratching he heard earlier, and suddenly everything took a turn for the worse. What if it was a giant rat? Or maybe a killer had snuck into the school and hid in the walls, waiting for the right moment to attack. "Calm yourself, calm yourself... deep breaths... inhale and exhale..." the young male muttered to himself, trying to stop from hyperventilating, or having a panic attack. Oh, what a great first day it had been so far.

Christina had untransformed, going back to her normal looking self. It was always interesting going from one body to the next. She always felt stronger, faster, her thoughts seemed quicker too. Sometimes she wondered if the spirit of the sword took over her body more then she realized. Phi was attached to her hip as she walked through the forest of books AKA the library. Phi was resting himself while Christina wanted to get to know this place more. Like look for a good book to read. Though it wasn't much of her thing she was bored, and willing to try more. She paused for a moment when she heard mumbling. She peeked around the corner. Now normally she would probably go on her way, but this mumbling sounded panicked. She kept quiet as she saw a blond boy who looked somewhat familiar began to breath in and out. "Uh... Are you okay?" she whispered quietly while adjusting her reading glasses.
