Unfortunately this time she misjudged her aim. Instead of stones rushing up at her opponent, they started battering her instead. She cried out and stopped them, but the damage was done.

Good. Zakiax thought to himself, they were near close to even now.
Phrixus moved quickly around the playing field gaining momentum until he once more sprang up to bite the flygon.

That last attach bit deep, causing Jade to yelp. It brought her back to her senses, but it hurt. Lyle could see she wasn't doing so great. "Pay him back with Supersonic!" She backed up, her rapidly-beating wings making an angry buzzing sound, before she released a piercing shriek at the Houndoom. Phrixus was hit with the buzzing and stumbled back a bit. He was unsteady on his feet as he tried to focus himself. His head was spinning. He countered the Flygon's attack with Swagger attempting to confuse it back as well.

As Phrixus fainted Zak withdrew the houndoom back into his pokeball. "We will have to work on that." he muttered. As much as he liked confusing his opponent he disliked it being used against himself. It was quite unpredictable at times especially with a hot headed pokemon like Phrixus.
