"Of course I will!" That was her reply to the photo before they arrived at Tokyo. "I am glad you feel them fun." It was happy that the places she was interested were what Eva could find fun as well, if only she could feel happy, it was meaningless.

She nodded happily at Eva's suggestion, looked around on the street. "Let's try that one over there, it looked like a big one. "We're in Akihabara, a shopping district for video games, anime, manga, and computer goods. Let's also visit some cafes after game." Shu explained, swinging the hands she held with Eva. Knowing how noisy it would be inside a game center, Shu asked in advance: "Eva, what kind of games do you like best? Rhythm? Shooting? Dancing? I probably will try the UFO catcher for the new arkapasso!" Her eyes sparkled, heart already flew to the arpakasso.

"Here we are, Eva!" She pointed to a building.

After scanning their surroundings, Eva had only one thing to say: "This place is crazy." There were so many tall buildings and flashing lights, things that were pretty foreign to a small town girl like her. Although she had traveled to other big cities since waking up at Deus, she never ceased to be amazed by them.

Holding Shu's hand tightly (because Eva was sure she'd get lost without Shu around, and because the girl was just so dang cute), the huntress let herself be led to the game center. "Um, rhythm games, probably!" she answered, only to c**k her head to the side a second later, "What's a UFO catcher?"

If only she realized that that question would be the start of her doom. Eva had an intense weakness for plushies, and this day trip to Japan was going to be her downfall.

"Crazy but fun!" Shu raised her voice as her normal voice was a bit too soft in the hectic city. The petite Asian had her eyes sparkling like millions of star inside, even though she seemed to know Japan quite well, it was her first time to firmly step on the land. Everything was new, thrilling and attractive.

She used the hand not tightly locked with Eva's to gently pat her cheek: Shu you had a schedule and places to bring Eva to, don't forget that, she said to herself. They stopped at the floor plan as Shu read the Japanese words, shortly she exclaimed in surprise. "Wow, this game center is so BIG, it's multi-floor. Rhythm games should be in second floor, come Eva." She dragged Eva into an elevator and pressed the button. "Oh UFO catcher! It's a game machine, with the clamp part looked like a UFO, also called claw crane or claw machine. In East Asia, we usually call it UFO catcher." She explained and leaned in closer, "I heard rumors that some even have live animals as prizes. ANYWAY, those here should only have PLUSHIES as prizes. PLUSHIES." She couldn't help but whispered again.

The door opened and they got out of it, already heard different sorts of music and electric sounds. "Let's play some rhythm games first, because I don't know how long I will spend on the UFO catcher. We can pick one or two we both like, let's start from there!" She hopped and pointed to a corner. "Then go clockwise, it should be the most efficient." They were gonna regret later over their fever on catching plushies, but it was beat time.

Shu can't sing well, because she was clumsy but her rhythm wasn't bad at all. The schedule she planned was fulled of things, so they'd better started earlier. She hoped Eva and her can leave some great happy memories, something amazing to write in her little diary.

What the hell, this place was seriously insane! The moment they stepped into the game center, Eva was immediately taken aback by the sheer amount of noise and lights that greeted them. And then there was the fact that Shu had just said that this place, which was already pretty big in Eva's opinion, had multiple floors. "...this is like a dream come true," she nearly whispered, using her free hand to pat at the machines in awe as they walked past.

Then she paused. "Wait. Wait, so the UFO machines are pretty much the same thing as the crane games we have in Canada then? ...And they're full of plushies?"

Plushies. Oh man, she was totally in.

She was no less amazed when they arrived on the second floor, unabashedly gaping at everything laid out in front of them. After some more staring, she awkwardly tore her gaze away to look at Shu. "Oh man. Which game first? There are just...so many..." In hindsight, a day trip totally wasn't enough, but there was little that they could do about that. They would just have to enjoy their trip while they could.

(And get all of the plushies, of course).

Meegane
LOL BUT OF COURSE B)) <33
Do you want simple mechanisms like...roll 1 4-dice, if 1 you do well, if 2 you do okay, etcetc
...B) Or like, roll 20 4-dice, odds are notes missed and evens are notes hit?

Shu pinched Eva's cheek very lightly, "You're not dreaming!" She jolted at the drag when Eva halted, it was understandable because who didn't love plushies. "Yes, plushies. They've other stuff like seiyuu's signature, figures or different merchandise. BUT - my focus is the FLUFFY PUFFY PLUSHIES!" Yup, yelling and shouting inside the elevator with just them was totally acceptable. They were both good girls that they didn't jump in it but hopped in excitement.

The floor holding Rhythm game machines was quite spacious, with a large area of open space in the middle. Some machines were already occupied as the person in front of the screen moved his arms all in busy to hit the symbols. Shu stared at him with an admired face when his hand glided gracefully over the screen. "Expert!" she whispered.

If she and Eva had to play something, it would be better to pick something familiar so she could explain the mechanism. Shu looked around the machines while wrapped around Eva, sometimes they stood quietly behind a player and just watched eagerly. It was until she heard a familiar cute voice, she lit up like a light bulb.

"I find it, Eva! Let's play Taiko Drum Master, it's a drumming game that consists of two actions: hit the centre for the red symbol and the edge for the blue. Yellow line means elongated." Shu who bloomed like a flower dragged Eva to a machine with two drums, picking up two sticks and passed Eva one of it. She hit the centre with one of the sticks and began to hit the edge while looking through the songs. "Let's see if I can find a song we both familiar with, hmm.....not this one....that - nope...nope, nope, nope. Ohhhhhh this one should work." She happily announced her finding but kept the song a secret.

She had selected the two-player mode, before it started, Shu asked Eva to try hitting to get used to it. "Are you ready?" She asked, knocking the centre with her stick.

Eva wasn't sure what a "seiyuu" was, but that didn't matter because she was totally 100% focused on "plushies". She had never been good at crane games when she played them as a young teen at the town fairs, but she definitely wanted to try her hand at some of them today. Honestly, who could resist?

But first, the rhythm games! She watched the player that they passed by in awe for a few seconds, shaking her head slowly when Shu whispered "expert" to her. That really was crazy--just how much practice did this guy have to get to be this good? She knew for a fact that she wasn't going to do nearly as well.

But the opportunity to try soon came up when her new friend picked out a game for them. Taking the offered drumstick, she nodded slowly at the girl's instructions. "Sounds easy enough," she stated with a smile, lifting her free hand to rub at her chin, "And hey, I know this song! Good pick." The fact that she was already familiar with the melody meant that she probably wouldn't fair as much as she would have otherwise. Hopefully.

Well, she couldn't claim to be too great at it, but to be fair, this was her first time playing the game. Regardless of her scoring, it was clear that the young woman was having a lot of fun, laughing whenever she accidentally made a mistake.

"Isn't it!" She smiled, delighted that her guess was right. Let it go was a famous song for the Disney movie Frozen, even it was sung in Japanese, the beat and melody were the same. "Ready Eva? Here we go~!" Shu announced, hitting the middle of the drum in a ultra cheerful voice.

Since it wasn't the first time, even as clumsy as Shu could catch most of them, though most noted are commented "Fair" and a few "Good". The petite girl swayed her body with the music and gently hummed the melody . The slow forepart she could follow easily, but when it sped up, she begun to fall behind for one second. "Ah nooo! Eh! Don don don! Phew..." Half tittering half giggling, Shu made meaningless interjections all the way and her expressions kept changing until the game ended.

"Eva, is that fun? You did quite a good job for the first time!" Still holding the drum stick, she gave another huntress a thumb up. "I got nervous in the mid way" she stuck her tongue out, a bit embarrassed for her own score. "Okay, let's - how about that one?" She pointed to somewhere, and shortly grabbed Eva's wrist to pull her away from the Taiko game.

Before Eva would check, Shu yelled in an excited voice. "Oh my, check this out Eva. The gun is soooo adorable, it's PINK - oh it has a star here." She picked up the gun controller and didn't willing to put it down, her eyes examined the gun with great interest. "Eva, quick, pick up the gun and pose, I'm gonna take a picture of us. 1,2, 3, Cheese~" She shoved her head closed to another girl and winked with a sweet smile. "Okay, Eva, do you wanna try this? It's like the drum, but you move and shoot at the targets instead." The petite girl explained how the game worked, it looked like they are for younger kinds but it is cute, who cares.

After this game, they will take a short break to go Purikura. Taking a photo rather reminded her of that, she had to bring Eva for that, she was sure it will be a good thing to recall their Tokyo trip later. Then, they will go get plushies!

Kaiyumi

Eva learned that Shu was decidedly better than this game than she was, something that really didn't surprise her but definitely delighted her. She had to admit that she had had a ton of fun, even if she just barely got a passing grade on her first attempt.

"You're seriously amazing, Shu," she grinned, unabashedly piling on the praise, "And I had a ton of fun! I'll definitely need to practice a lot more if I want to get anyways near your level." Too bad Deus Ex lacked a machine like this. She wondered if it was entirely possible to get one shipped over if she ever upgraded her room one day...

Life goals to be sure. Either that, or a personal UFO machine would be pretty cute!

"Ooh man, that's super cute!" she grinned, taking one of the offered pink guns. She deeeefinitely wanted to try this machine out. After posing for the picture as requested, she turned the plastic gun over in her hands to examine it. A shooting game, huh? Maybe she'd be better than this.

"I'm definitely up for it!" Eva declared. As it turned out, she was better at this game than she was the rhythm one...but just barely. In the end, she just barely grazed by hitting the targets half of the time and missing them the other half of the time.

If Eva ever get a machine, Shu would visit frequently. What's more if it's a claw machine, she might put her own plushies in when they play with it. That was such a great idea to just think about.

"I'm amazing, but you too Eva! I can't even have a passing mark for my first time." It was before the game started. Indeed, another huntress did much better at the shooting game. On the other hand, Shu found aiming too difficult and sometimes she slipped before she pulled the trigger. "Oh no I clicked too quick. Too slow. Ahhhhhhh!" Like losing her mind, she kept clicking the trigger for a while before the song slowed down and she could recover. The bunny dancing on the screen was such an adorable distraction and she missed more when the notes came in a line, from different angle."

She put the gun down, and watched as the bunny cried for her poor score. "Oh no, Eva, I did so badly that the bunny is crying." She pulled the sleeve of another girl and a bit upset for it.

The cheerful girl recovered quick that she sniffed and feigned to wipe tears away. "Okay, we're gonna do プリクラ next! Think of some cute and funny poses Eva. We're gonna do what JK love to do, taking cute pictures and stick it on stuff." She turned around. "Ah, some people would make ugly faces and grimacing, and stick them all over enemy's belongings." Shu had her cheeks puffed up, sticking tongue out, drawing eyelid down to imitate and give some examples.

If it wasn't my friend, I won't have the chance to play Taiko game
Shu did even worse lol 7/20

Eva was having a blast, but the moment Shu seemed remotely upset by the unhappy bunny, Eva scooped the other girl up in her arms and gave her a squeeze. "Aw, I think you did great! I mean, it's not like we get much of an opportunity to practice with guns at Deus unless your partner is a gun, so...I think we've got pretty decent aim considering."

She gave Shu a little wink, and was relieved to see that she was the type to recover quickly. However, a look of complete bafflement spread over her face when the huntress announced their next event.

"We...we're doing what now?" Eva asked, eyes going wide. All she knew was that Shu had said something Japanese, and from what she gathered from the explanation that followed, they were going to...take cute pictures? But what was this puri..."purikura" part of it? Were they not just going to use their phones?

The young woman very slowly tilted her head, blinking at Shu in an owlish manner.
