Bhima approached the stall with a smile, but already she felt an odd sort of mistrust. The way the woman moved and the way she held herself all seemed a bit strange, a bit theatrical. Maybe that was just part of the show, though. If you were excited about your good, maybe others would be too? Bhima couldn't be sure. She didn't usually deal with vendors on such a large scale. While the sister rifled through her products, Bhima busied herself looking at the other crystals. It was true. A lot of them would be wonderful for jewelry, but was it worth the cost? If she and Hijil were going to have children coming home from this, was it better to save what she had to pay for their needs or buy something special and make something worth more out of it? She chewed the inside of her lip as her eyes caught the famed two-toned crystal coming out. She watched Dyakida take it and test it.
"It's nice. The colors blend smoothly. I do see a little flaw in coloration nearer the top half, I'm unsure if it would mar the weapon. Right here." She took Dyakida's hand gently and put her fingers over the spot. "And there are a few little lines in it. Not cracks, just...aesthetic flaws." She knew enough about crystal to say that much. She knew what it was like to have to shape crystal, and flaws could ruin a piece if improperly placed or unexpectedly weak. "Altogether though it seems pretty spectacular." If only she had the extra product to spend to get a blade like this!

Smooth blending was what was promised. The flaws were more typical, bits of another crystal grown in, from the feel and description of it, or differences in the structure of the crystal. She tested - and listened - to the areas that Bhima directed her to, thoughful. Those regions might be problematic, though they were such that she would really only be able to tell when she struck them. Still, most of it was very good, strong quality. It would serve her well. "All right." she said, "I'll take it." She settled down to barter. "Bhima," she asked, suddenly, "Do you want anything from here?" It was only fair - Bhima had done her a huge favor by confirming the appearance. If she wanted something from the stand... Dyakida was happy to trade for it as well.

Bhima turned to Dyakida, instinctively trying to make eye contact even knowing that the Sister couldn't see her. When an offer or further trading was made, Bhima's gaze turned hard toward the vendor's table. Beads were a basic sort of income for her and Hijil, and considering they planned to have children by the time she was home...
"I, uh... no, I--" she licked her lips. Dyakida was successful, she knew that, but Bhima wasn't a woman who liked taking anything from anyone. "No," she said finally, "but I'm definitely coming back later."

"All right." she said. She wasn't going to step between a Sister and her pride. With that settled, she set to bartering. She was an aggressive barterer - all the smarts and skill that could have gone on a battlefield were applied here instead, at the market. Finally, she emerged with the prized crystal. "So, your blades." she said. Broad at the tip, thinner at the base, sturdy and well weighted, Dyakida remembered, was the gist of it. "Unfortunately, this crystal is spoken for..." for the most part, "But, is there a... color you prefer? In the handle or the blade?"

Bhima watched the bartering with a smile on her face and happily took the wrapped crystal to carry for Dyakida. It was the least she could do.
"Oh, no," she said, "I'm not picky with appearances. You make a good blade, and that's all I ask for."
