“How is it my fault?” Ganymede asked, even as the mantra of my fault, my fault, my fault rang through her head.
She knew when this had happened. Amphitrite made it obvious with her accusations. New Year's then, was it? Certainly Ganymede hadn't heard from Amphitrite since their rescue, though she knew Amphitrite to have been a captive. Valhalla had gotten the names from one of the Negaverse officers sent to question them.
Of course it was her fault then, wasn't it? The Negaverse had been after people like her. Amphitrite must have just been caught up in the mayhem. She shouldn't have been there. She should have been safe. What could Ganymede have done to make sure that she was safe? She could have made sure she got out alive. She'd known she'd been there, but she hadn't checked the hospitals, hadn't looked around, had assumed she'd made it out with the rest of them.
“I'm sorry, it wasn't my choice,” Ganymede said. She'd hardly been conscious at the time of the rescue. “If I'd known then... if I could have... I would have gone back for you, I swear.”
Then another officer materialized nearby, and Ganymede's heart gave a heavy thud in her chest. She recognized this General, though the last time they'd encountered one another, said General hadn't been anything more than a Captain.
“You...”
Ganymede froze with lingering fear. They were after the Squire. Why should they stop themselves there? What if they were all in danger of being captured again?
“Val!” she reached for his hand again before he could leave her side, quickly changing her mind about sending him off to the Squire. A Squire against a Captain was fine odds, but Ganymede didn't like the idea of facing this General and Amphitrite alone.

Aquamarine remains in C2!
Aquamarine was just standing there, hoping to get away with loping around without having to do much fighting, maybe steal someone else's glory again like he did that one time with Jet. Unfortunately, a basic level Senshi stumbled upon his little area near the fountain. He watched her assume a defensive position. Aquamarine laughed and hoisted his toy sword over one shoulder.
“You can be on your way,” he said, jerking his head in the direction away from the fountain and out of the park. “This doesn't have to turn ugly.”
He'd really rather it didn't turn ugly. He was hoping this would be quick and painless. It was one Squire, after all. How many officers did they really need to bring him in?

Valhalla is in grid D4!
Ganymede yelling for the General Queen to come out was not what Valhalla thought was that great of an idea. “She didn’t expect this many to show up,” Valhalla said hopefully, trying to push away the uneasy feeling of the General Queen’s aura that still lingered in the vicinity.
But there wasn’t much time to look for the General Queen, or for the squire that sent out the distress call. There were already too many closing in on their position. Surely it had something to do with Ganymede’s aura. They could sense her over the others. It was both good and bad — good because it hopefully kept the more powerful officers away from the pages and newer senshi, but bad because even though he desperately wanted to help the squire, he couldn’t leave her side.
The name Ganymede said drew his attention first, and he turned to stare with wide, sad eyes at the corrupted senshi approaching Ganymede. “Amphitrite… but…” he said softly, feeling his chest tighten with emotion that threatened to overtake him. “Stop that! It wasn’t her fault. She didn’t know you were there,” Valhalla spoke up when Amphitrite accused Ganymede, shaking his head, not yet leaving his wife’s side. “She didn’t know! But I did,” he offered, his expression pained. “If it was anyone’s fault, it was mine.” He knew the names of most of the captives, but he hadn’t even been able to speak when they were rescued. He’d been too weak and feverish and… dying… to make sure he relayed the names of everyone he’d known was there.
When Ganymede grabbed his hand again, he pulled his eyes away from Amphitrite, turning to see the horror of a General before them. “What the hell…” he stammered softly to himself, a wave of fear washing over him upon seeing her. This… this was what the Negaverse could do? Turning humans into these… creatures? And so powerful.
“You don’t want to do this,” he said, taking hold of the ringed compass by his side. “Let the Squire go,” he requested, gripping tightly to Ganymede’s hand. Something about her demeanor made it seem as if she knew this… woman...

Benitoite is in D3, headed to D4. Free to engage.
The call for help, and the fact he had been out lazily patrolling, brought the General to the fountain in the park. The sound of the water instantly hitting his ears as he appeared standing there, the backs of his legs pressed to the stone basin of the fountain. Sighing he swept his bangs fro his face before glancing about. Already he could pick up a good amount of signatures, including the General Queens. "Well, this'll be interesting."
Heading off, his boots hitting the pavement as he headed toward a grouping of signatures including a corrupted senshi. Wind blew and scattered ashen bangs about his face, which were swiped at and moved out of his face, his slate colored eyes taking in the grouping before him. "well, isn't this interesting." He spoke aloud to the group as he approached. He swore silently to himself, every time he wound up in a big thing like this he risked his spot in the Negaverse or the opinion of those on the other side he was trying to work with - god damn it. Why did doing the right thing have to be so damn hard? Biting down on the inside of his left cheek he pushed the thoughts away.
"Is everyone playing nice here?" He questioned, a mocking tone to his voice. He had heard the corrupted senshi's words, he could see her uniform, and he felt he understood. She'd been corrupted at the fun house. He'd tried to help her, he had wanted to get her out of there - alive and as she had been then. It seemed that wish of his had failed and he hadn't even known, he'd been so busy. He'd have to keep to his words and locate her family and somehow speak with them, maybe a letter instead? Either way it would not be easy.
It was the appearance of the other General that had his attention soon though. His eyes focused on her and the new uniform. "general Cinnabar...a pleasure to see you this evening." Polite and smiling to the red and black clad General. Biting his lip as he looked over the assembled group, wondering if he could break this gathering apart and get two of them away without looking guilty of something by doing so. He didn't like these numbers and he didn't care to draw his weapon against the two order members, especially these two.
Leucite was still trying to get a handle on this whole teleportation business, but he managed to reach the area he'd been called to with fairly decent success. He could see that things were starting to square up, but he wasn't sure exactly where he was best needed.
He supposed it would be best to run interference on this flank, so he started to put out eyes for senshi or knights that might interfere.
He would just have to trust that the center and right flanks were covered for now.

Amphitrite is in D4 with: Ganymede, Valhalla, Cinnabar, and Benitoite!
Words and apologies, each as meaningless as the last. She didn't recognize the man with the woman in bathed in light, but apparently he knew her. Good. "You say that like there's one to blame over the other!" she snarled, trying to force moisture into her eyes to make her rage seem more palpable. The act wasn't as insincere as she wanted to pretend it was.
Cinnabar was there, and a quick glance was spared for her to assess her upgrade. It was hard not to look impressed; if Amphitrite had been awed by Cinnabar to begin with, she was on a completely different level now. She'd have to congratulate her later. "Do you know how long they kept me, before this?" She gestured to herself with a sweep of her hands and a warped smile. "Because they did. They kept me for weeks, waiting for one of you freaks to come for me."
She spotted Benitoite, and recalled him, if only vaguely. Like a dream. It was enough for her to smile at the sight of him, which melted into a smirk as she turned her gaze back to the order senshi. "Things are different now - we don't run alone - and you honestly think you're saving anyone." A laugh escaped the corrupt; she knew she was more talk than action, but as the weakest person there, talk was the best she had. It was a weapon she'd taken to well. "If anything, we're saving them from you."
She smiled as the senshi and her knight reacted with shock and disgust, amused at the reactions.
"Its a pleasure to see you again, Ganymede. And Valhalla, was it? Do you like my new coat? I'm quite happy with my new look." She teased them, fluffing up the grey fur around her face. Her tail swung lazily from side to side, and she spared the arriving general a sidelong glance and a coy smile.
"Benitoite. Of course we're playing nice. I always play nice." She chuckled. The half youma spread her hands again, purposefully in plain sight, and turned her amused gaze on the pair before her again. She addressed the knight, since the senshi had Amphitrite to deal with. It had not been ideal to face both with only a basic corrupt by her side, but now that they had another general? It would be a sad day to lose to them like this.
"Of course I want to do this, don't be stupid." She snapped, still smiling. "Either you fight me and die, or you run away. You're not getting the Squire and your posturing and appealing to a good side I don't have will do nothing but make you look like an idiot. So lets get on with it."
Monologuing was not appealing... she never had the patience to drag things out when it was so much better to just leap right into it. Reaching out with all of her considerable skill and concentration, knowing what it would do to the glowing senshi by his side, Cinnabar grabbed mentally at their energy and ripped it from them as hard and fast as she could, letting the balls of energy form in her palms. Slant the odds in their favor a little more, hopefully. End things a little quicker if they were lucky.

Glitnir AND Cor Caroli are in D1, heading to D3 with a quickness! Will most likely be in D2 by next post if not intercepted- feel free to engage! (May also go directly to D3 if permission is obtained and no one intercepts, we'll see)
Glitnir kept finding himself stuck with Cor Caroli these days. At least every few days, a ring mail would poof into existence in front of him from the senshi asking if he could patrol with him. He had no real reason to say no; he was a basic senshi with a defensive focus and could certainly use the assistance when patrolling. If some Negaverse Lieutenant or worse snuck up on him, he might be in trouble. He enjoyed Cor Caroli's company, even if sometimes the guy could be straight-up dumb and he occasionally ignored personal space bubbles.
Cor Caroli, meanwhile, was not as chipper as usual today. He had had a dream, an intense and vivid one that lingered in his mind long after he had awoken. In that respect, it didn't feel like a dream at all. He remembered being corrupted, serving the Negaverse, feeling great despair and purposelessness. He also remembered, at the end, feeling great love and being given a chance to live again. Ploutonion had been in his dream, which struck him as odd, though he was not one to quibble with dream logic. Nonetheless, he remembered being deeply, deeply in love with the Knight, and going off with him to reclaim his life at the end. It all left him feeling disoriented and unsettled and unable to find a place for himself. Rhys had not responded to his texts, and he was hoping to find the guy and talk to him.
Glitnir's ring and Cor Caroli's senshi phone went off with the distress call at the same time. "This is Ploutonion Squire of Saturn - I'm by the fountain in Central Park, and...there's a General-Queen -- I don't want to corrupt, and I don't want to die, please, help!" The second Cor Caroli heard the voice from the Knight ring, he felt something drop in his stomach. No, no, this couldn't be happening. How had a General-Queen found him? He would not let someone that he felt himself coming to care for suffer the fate he did in that dream. After the nausea faded and a shudder ran through him, he took off towards Central Park.
Glitnir blanched at the distress call, though for different reasons than Cor Caroli's anxiety. If he didn't act fast, a forced corruption was going to go down, and they would lose a Knight. He wasn't given much time to think on the issue before Cor Caroli charged off. He had been aware that the senshi was acting weird, quieter and not as friendly as usual. The urgency with which he flew off towards Central Park seemed odd too, no quips or anything. Naturally, there was no choice but to chase him down and make sure he didn't get hurt.
When the duo arrived on the scene, there were already numerous auras clustered there, both Order and Chaos. Cor Caroli stared right down the middle. He saw Ploutonion, a Squire, and a Captain right in front of the fountain. The name flew out of his mouth, practically screamed: "Ploutonion!" Forcing himself to keep going even as his legs ached and chest burned from being out of breath, he kept running. He didn't care if he had to fight off a Captain; he was going to have the support of two Squires (Glitnir and the other one). Already, the fantasies of a dramatic rescue were going through his head, though this time it ended in a heart-to-heart talk instead of victory sex.
Glitnir just kept following Cor Caroli, begging him to wait up. From the looks of it, Cor Caroli was going to dive right into the heart of the action, which would be incredibly dangerous. He had to make sure he didn't get himself killed.

Whisler is in D2 on his way to D3 to help Ploutonion
When the knight of Polaris had received the call for help, he had been near the park, so that was a good thing. The amount of energy he felt already in the park was rather overwhelming and he was almost rethinking his decision to come out. He was a traitor to the negaverse, after all…and if there was a General Queen there…well, wasn’t he in danger of being corrupted again? That was not on his list of fun things to do on a Saturday, that’s for sure.
The knight looked around and shook his head, completely overwhelmed. This was more people than he had ever felt in one place.
“I’m coming, don’t you worry now!” He wasn’t going to let anyone fall to chaos…not if he could help it. He had freed himself, and he would do his best to free everyone that he could.
There was some strange captain with the squire in the middle of the park, and though he wasn’t sure if that was the squire that was in danger…it was still a squire in danger, so that totally counted.
His eyes fell on a very adorable little sparkly squire that was nearby as well, but then flicked back towards the captain. “Get away from him, little chaos monster.” If it got to the point of using his magic, well, he knew full well he could get those who had chaos in them away from the others…so, that was a great ace in the hole.

Ganymede is still in D4 with Valhalla, Amphitrite, Cinnabar, and Benitoite!
'I don't want to hear anymore,' Ganymede thought.
Amphitrite was there spitting her accusations and Valhalla was there trying to divert them, trying to claim the blame when Ganymede knew it was her fault. It was her fault for being like this, for presenting herself as a target. She'd gotten other people hurt in the process.
But Amphitrite... she made it seem so awful—being corrupted. And Ganymede was sure it was, but within the same breath Amphitrite disparaged the White Moon.
“Saving them form us?” Ganymede clarified. “Didn't you want to be saved? Or is this the brainwashing talking?”
The arrival of Benitoite set Ganymede further on edge. Two Generals and a basic corrupted Senshi now. Those were not good odds. She couldn't even be sure she knew whose side Benitoite was on during this encounter.
Soon Ganymede didn't have the time to think much of it. One second she was standing there, trying to find something hopeful and reassuring to say to Amphitrite, and the next she felt as if her energy was practically being ripped from her. She jolted and stumbled on her feet, turning wide, angry eyes on the monster General.
“You b***h,” she seethed. She couldn't stop it. Ganymede couldn't even be sure she could fire off an attack with how much energy had already been stolen from her. Stubbornness was the only thing still keeping her on her feet.
“Bring out your General-Queen,” she demanded, “and let's get this over with.”

Umber refused to dignify Ploutonion with a response. He glared up at the man impassively, from where he crouched in the fountain. You're stupid enough to try standing in water. Then you deserve what comes to you.
Grabbing ankles, Umber wrenched what he could of the man to send him crashing down into the concrete basin. The water cushioned his fall to some extent. The wand lay forgotten while the captain wrenched at legs, clothing, and writhing skin to reorient himself enough to trap the target. He sat upon the man's pelvis as soon as possible, and fought to pin one hand to throat to distract while he stole the glasses from Ploutonion's face. The pair were thrown to his left, toward the senshi and squire who now sought to reach him. They were noted, but he found little reason to dissuade them presently - if Laurelite was quick about it, then the corruption would complete itself without their interference.
Precious seconds were at stake.
Luckily Cinnabar and Benitoite began commiserating with their enemies, which meant nothing had really begun transpiring in that area. All the better - most of them felt of higher rank than himself, so playing a checkmate game in maneuvering about socially meant he had more time to secure Ploutonion. It bade well; between attempts to practically waterboard the man using the fountainhead and using the pool to disable movement, he wasn't about to make it anywhere without assistance from outside forces.
Yet there came the voice from a knight in purple, who looked quite ready to drive him off if the need arose. Some other squire started yelling for Ploutonion's health. There's no time to leave the target and try to regroup. He needs to be still as long as possible. If Cinnabar and Benitoite are going to be useful here, they'll divert their attention to the noted target. If I draw attention to myself by asking for them, then more might come to this insidious traitor's aid.
Better I commit to this.
"Quiet," he hissed through clenched teeth, and sought to push Ploutonion's head beneath the surface by throat alone. He needed time, and quietude meant less interest directed toward the pair.

Valhalla is in grid D4!
Valhalla didn’t want to pull his eyes away from the female General before him, but when Benitoite spoke up, he felt his heart sink. He and Ganymede were quickly being outnumbered. There was no way they could fight both Generals and Amphitrite. How could they?? He didn’t even want to fight them, but he was sure as hell going to defend himself and Ganymede as best he could.
“Please… Amphitrite… we don’t want to hurt you,” he called out to her, feeling guilt and despair over her current state. He’d never even had the chance to really get to know her. He’d seen her in groups, of course, but he didn’t think he had a conversation with her before.
But there was nothing they could do at the moment. The female General seemed like she was ready to fight, but what she did next he wasn’t expecting. She went straight after their energy?? Valhalla winced as he felt the energy being drawn from him, and with it his concentration. It was nothing compared to how Ganymede must be feeling, as she was so susceptible to having her energy drained, but he could still feel it. He wouldn’t be able to focus on his magic. There was little chance he’d have to redirect her movements like this.
He didn’t want to have to call her, but there didn’t seem to be a choice. He and Ganymede were both being weakened and they were already surrounded. They needed help. Valhalla knew she would have preferred to attack the General Queen, but at the moment there was no other choice.
“Kyrie!” he called, dropping his compass back by his side, and grabbing hold of the pocket watch that had belonged to his past life. From the watch burst a ghostly form of a giant bird. An eagle. It let out an enraged screech as it took to the sky, her sight on the youma General.
A bolt of lightning shot towards the ground, Kyrie obviously intending to use the female General as a lightning rod. Valhalla could only hope that Benitoite and Amphitrite were not close enough to be hit as well.

Harmonia is still in C2!
"I am not going anywhere." She said with a bit more confidence than she felt as she peered just past the lieutenant blocking her path to the scene going on behind him. It didn't look good.
A poor squire looked like he was in trouble. A ton of trouble and whether she knew him or not she needed to help!
Biting her lip Harmonia had a small war within herself break out. Attacking a youma right out, unprovoked, was different than attacking another human being. Nega or not. She hoped to find more like Merlinite. More who wanted to be free of the chaos and join the order. A par tof her felt that if she held back from attacking maybe, just maybe, she could talk them out of fighting. Still she could practically here Chaonis's voice in her head yelling at her to not be so naive. They were all here for a reason and it certainly didn't look good and this agent was blocking.
In a split second the decision was made and Harmonia steeled herself as she rushed at the Lieutenant. Once within reach she punched towards his face, his jaw to be more precise, in a well oiled but basic manuver. "Let me through!" She practically growled out as she stepped into her attack.

Benitoite, grid D4.
Looking over those gathered around he stepped away from the youma General, hoping to at least somehow let Ganymede and Valhalla know that he wasn't with her. He couldn't fight her, for so many reasons, but he wasn't looking to start a fight here with either of them.
"Is that a new trick, Cinnabar?" He questioned as he noted her attack on the two order members. He had never tried to pull energy like that, could he gather energy that easily? Or was that something she could now do due to being part youma? He didn't ask that, didn't make it seem like he lacked knowledge, and he wouldn't dare ask such a question.
Finally his gaze shifted to Ganymede, for the moment ignoring Valhalla. "bring out our General Queen? We don't order her about, she does as she pleases - when she pleases. Even if we called for her she does not need come...why do you want her to come? So she can kill you both?" He questioned, hoping she understood how bad of an idea it was, to ask for the General Queen, pleading with his eyes for her to understand how wrong a move, and request, that was. They were already out numbered and to want her to join in on this gathering was a very bad thing. If he speak freely he'd have scolded her, taken her aside and warned her against such a thing. You did not want to fight a General Queen, they had the rank and the power for a reason. Why seek death?
It was what he heard from Valhalla that took his attention away from Ganymede and he saw an eagle. Well, this was different from a knights magical toy, he really didn't think of those items as weapons. Although Lieutenants and even most Captains didn't have weapons either, they also got toys to start out with. Watching the eagle he was glad he wasn't so close to Cinnabar as it seemed she was about to get hurt and he didn't want to be in range of whatever was about to befall her.

Chaldene, entering from A5, heading to B6. Free to engage.
He hadn't gotten a call, didn't know one had gone out, but rather he felt the power signatures in the park while he was out. He'd felt powerful dark energies and a lot of order auras as well. It had his curiosity peaked to say the least. He hadn't a clue of what to expect, what he'd be walking into, but he had changed his course and headed for the park and entered slowly, looking around for anyone that may be near.
He had been working on confidence, he was willing to attack and fight, but he was cautious as he entered. He didn't want to be taken by surprise and not be able to fight back doe to some weapon or what have you/
His hands were out of his pockets and at his sides as he walked, looking this way and that, he knew the glowing parts of his uniform had him standing out and right now he cursed that, he didn't need to stand out like he did. He felt like he had an advertising sign handing from about his neck as he walked along the paved path.
