Palan snapped some of the netting again in attempt to get the shark. Perhaps he was being too rough? Handling animals wasn't really his strong suit after all. Hmm, what to do? His ears dropped a little as he bit his lip. He studied the movements of the sharks and dipped the net into the water. Purposely he moved the net around in the water to chase them all one way before turning the net around and tried to snatch one when they were all in a group.

Bo-Bae Eun   Hoshi is awestruck by Palan's bad luck. For his pure determination, you will receive a booby prize! Not only will Palan walk away with a new box of bandaids, you will also be receiving... 20 tickets! Now that's luck!  Palan eyed the box of bandaids and looked at his hands. Yeah, he really was gonna need those bandaids when he was finished. He smiled out of gratitude and took the tickets. "Thank you, Lady Hoshi... I'm glad someone is getting enjoyment out of this." He laughed warmly before stuffing the tickets in one of his pockets. He had one try left and he was going to make it count!

Palan wasn't sure what he was doing wrong. It couldn't be that hard to catch a shark. Could it? No, come on, some were snagging them as if they were as large as the moon! His tail swayed a bit behind him as he thought. Herding them like cattle didn't work. Going after one didn't work. Oh! He knew what to do. He leaned over a bit and just dipped the net in and waited a few minutes. Maybe one was stupid smart enough to swim right into his net out of curiosity?

Hoshi lingered around the game booths, partially because the goddess had to make sure there were no "accidents". Just this morning someone had lost their hand to these little buggers and it wasn't pretty. Apparently slapping stickers on the Pockettu didn't help either...
The goddess had been watching a particular poor soul try his hand at the game. Hovering over to the alien, Hoshigumo watched the water carefully to see what Palan may be doing wrong. "Maybe... Try being gentle?" She suggested, inching over a brand new net for the man. "The sharkfish get spooked whenever the water is hit too hard." Was it true? Probably not. But any advice was good advice at this point, right?

Palan plucked a ticket out of his pocket and placed it besides the money he issued before. Only then did he accept the net from the goddess. "Thank you kindly." He smiled at her. "Do they? I'll try... Well~ Here goes nothing!" He looked back at the water. Right. Gentle. Gentle... How does one be gentle? He discarded the mangled net from before and lowered this new net to hover just above the water. He waited a few moments for the sharkfish to not be spooked by the shadows before gently dipping the net into the water. He spotted one fish and went after it slowly and calmly. "Come to poppa little fishie..."

Gentle was apparently not in his nature. He spooked one of the sharkfish and could have sworn another went to try and bite his nose off. He pulled away in haste and frowned. "I reallly don't think they like me..." At least he only had two more tries. After that he probably would call it quits for awhile. He didn't need sharkfish plotting his demise and paying him a visit as he slept tonight. "But well...~ That's okay. I'm not everybody's cup of tea." He grinned and once again tried this 'be gentle' approach.

Palan's eyes widened in shock as he managed to catch the peach one with the orange spots. He smiled as wide as he could manage. "Yeah! I did it!" He laughed, proud of himself for not giving up. However by letting his guard down the sharkfish chomped down on his ear. He yelped and fought back tears as he pried it off. "Calm down I'll get you food that isn't my ear soon enough." The smile he wore was proud yet pained.

Palan decided the one who took a good chomp on his ear was the sharkfish he was going to stick with. When he got his prize though, he was shocked. "Oh wow..." He smiled and deemed the whole endeavor worth it! He turned to thank Hoshi for her help and all the bandaids, deciding to stick around to give anyone else some medical attention if needed.
