Raising eyebrows at the bag dangled over her face she found some of the Cami buzz, offering up a quick laugh. "Spend enough time with Otto and everything's candy when you hear the word sweets. Candy or ice cream and that can't possibly be ice cream." Though her eyes were saying it wouldn't be amiss if it were ice cream. It just likely wasn't. Sitting up on one elbow she addressed the idea of ruffled feathers. "It's Deus, Nora. Even my shine tarnishes after awhile." Hilariously it wasn't really Deus at all that was getting her down. Deus was what it was and she'd asked to come here. Demanded to come without knowing what she was really getting in to but Cami didn't hide from her choices. Much. What was depressing her was how she couldn't get over her lost relationships. It was unusual of her to dwell and the stupidity of the dwelling was making her more than a little self-loathing. "So what's in the bag?"

Chance complimented her mask, and out of instinct she reached out to touch it with a shy, hesitant move, as if the physical feel of it could give her the strength she needed to handle conversation with another human being. And maybe it did. "Thank you." Her quiet voice hummed out. She also liked her mask, and saw no reason why anyone would not. But when someone asked her to speak up, Ana immediately pulled back to withdraw, as if the concept repelled her. "I find that implausible, seeing as no one knows me yet." She murmured, just as quiet as her response to Chance.

"Jesus ******** christ." Cameron stared at Mimi as if she was an alien.
Like he could handle Abbi he supposed, because she was like...but he could not handle the amount of sheer....
He snorted at Chance instead, purposefully ignoring the kids crowding the room for the simple of reason: no.
"Her highness, yes. I will remember to tell her though, I am pretty sure she's a little upset at you." Something or other, not any of Cameron's business though.
God he hated being surrounded by kids. The mention of sweet things though had his stomach grumbling. He almost asked the woman (CAUSE THANK GOD IT WAS A WOMAN AND NOT CHILD) but decided not.
She would be surrounded soon anyways.

So. Cool. Mimi just stared at Ana with starry eyes and nodded. Everyone was a hero on Deus, hooray!!
There was probably a rule about not taking candy from strangers, but on Deus, EVERYONE WAS FAMILY. Allan-taichou had said so himself! And so Mimi had no qualms about taking candy from Nora, gasping out loud when she produced a bag of brownies. How did she do that. Mimi turned to Nora, mouth agape.
"Are you the candy fairy?"

He gave a snort. "I've worked things out with Claude, thankfully," said Chance lightly, giving Cameron a sideways glance. "At least, I think so."
The snacks were definitely appealing, and Chance definitely came and got one grinning cheekily at Nora as he plucked a brownie from the bag, sliding a second one out as well. He broke one of them in half and offered it to Cameron without a word. The other half he ate himself.
"Many thanks," he said with a wink to Nora and took a bite, licking his fingers. "Delicious. Just what I think everyone needs now and again."
He sat back down on the ground, cross-legged this time, and shaded his eyes with his non-brownie fingers to look at the masked girl. "I don't know," Chance said mildly, "We can all get to know you, and then get to like you, or something, right?"
His eyes flickered towards Cameron again. "Except for Cameron here, he's not exactly Mr. Sunshine." Ironic, considering their division.

"Something like that," she said with a wink to Mimi before offering a piece. "Eat up before the sun takes it. Or a grubber like this one, eh?" she added with a tease motion to Chance. "My pleasure, dear. Not a lot goes wrong after you've got some chocolate in you." Much like Cameron, she was getting an Abbi-esque feel from the girl; probably meant she'd have to get looked after if they got sent hurtled towards something again.
"Brownie bits of course," she said to Cami. "Perhaps a touch overambitious given the weather, but what can I say? I have a weakness." She settled down by Cami and gently bumped her shoulder. "I'll have to ask later, then, it sounds like a story. Meantime, soak up some sun and breathe, eh? I refuse to believe Deus is an excuse for everything, and right now you've got me here." Clearly that was reason enough not to mope.
She could barely hear what Ana said, but her posture said enough. "Right, maybe a sound off might help. Nora here," she introduced herself to the group. "Ravensgrove if it pleases. Basic trainee, former constable, and baker extraordinaire, among other things."

The first text he had received had been partly ignored. It was puzzling, but it just seemed like something his division leader would randomly send. But after a few more hours, and a run later, came the second text.
So, not soon after, Milo got himself to the meeting location, usual chipper mood and everything. "Good Morning ~" He greeted them, noting the many unfamiliar faces (wow, had he been off island that long?) mixed with the familiar and slightly familiar (some without names).
"Did I hear brownies?"

"Tch."

Peyton saw you Cami, yes she did, and she twiddled fingers at the other girl, flashing an inviting smile. Lips pursed, she added an air kiss for good measure. Their new Sun seemed fairly shy, given that silent greeting. So the daintiest of the lot would follow Nora's example. "For all the new faces, I'm Peyton Creedy." Big smile. "Full hunter, and a go to training questions or assistance."

Such an annoying sound... wait.. phone.. crud where the heck is it... gah... must find... *thunk* damnit... ground so hard... cold stones... phone... must find...Kimberly blinked sleepily at the emoji and facepalmed. She woke up for that? She was still recovering from the darn infectious nonesence and now was getting freaken emoji texts? She muttered and flopped back on the rack that served as her bed not amused. ~Tone~ Another text? It soo better not be another emoji....
Okay this was weirder. It was some strange mix of english and japanese. Someone obviously was an anime fan. Oh well like she could talk, she loved Jrpgs. "Meeting..." Ick... that meant being social. She sighed, grabbed her headphones cranked up the tunes of U2, selecting Sunday Bloody Sunday and headed out the door, glancing once more as a dancing Kirby series of emotes appeared on her phone. "Cute..." Upon getting to the meeting spot she looked at all the people and sighed. So many... no one she knew... surprise... she hadn't gotten a chance to meet anyone, so why would she know anyone. Sitting down in the grass she pulled out a DS and started playing a game. Quote: Sorry if new Sun division people are not supposed to be here. If that is the case feel free to kick Kimberly back to her room. I just noticed that only some people were quoted to come. ^.^;;

The same sender again. Was it going to be more emoji spam like the one that woke him up at 4 freaking am? Kyle sighed as he sipped at his coffee and glanced at the second message that had just come in. A meeting... huh? Although the meaning of the Japanese words that were included in the message was lost on him, the rest of the message that was in English was thankfully still coherent enough for him to understand what was being conveyed though he did wonder offhandedly if it was originally intended for his eyes or another individual altogether.
Before he could mull further on it though, the door was suddenly thrown open and someone whom he didn't know came in, asked why he was still in his room when the meeting was about to start then grabbed hold of his wrist and proceeded to drag him out onto the training field where some of the other Sun hunters had already gathered. With his objective achieved, the other hunter released his wrist and left, presumably to drag other unsuspecting trainees out of their rooms as well.
Rubbing his wrist with his other hand, he looked around himself, feeling a little lost as to what this was all about and what he ought to be doing here.

His phone was beeping and it was just a smiley face, Allan, that name sounded familiar, he texted another smiley face back with a question. As it didn't receive any reply, he put it down and slammed his face to the pillow. When the sun rose up, it rang again, with real text. He didn't bother with what nakama-tachi or other words that were not English there, "He must be the one, Cat" He called his partner who replied with a lazy yawn. "We'd better prepare ourselves, we're meeting the leader finally." He put himself in a shredded knit and a pair of skinny jeans, then he began to do his daily make-up in a professional way - winged eyeliner, eye shadows and a clown represented symbol that was lines across his eyes and end with a dot on each side. He hummed while gelling his hair and braided his colorful hair into a short tail. The tall trainee arrived and took a glance at the important personnel, he was promptly amused by his wear and posing. He waved back to Allan as he scooted over to the crowd of hunters already mingling. "Yo! I'm rather new here." Ace the mostly most fancy (besides Allan) smirked. "So anyone can translate the text message we received?" He was hard to miss, because of his eye-catching neon hair color. "Greeting, I'm Ace, anything fun so far?" Hearing the offer of treat, he leaned over with advantage of his height: "Do you have some spicy one Madam?" He totally heard Nora's introduction. "Hiya Mimi, how are you?"

Chance just grinned cheekily at Nora and flashed her another wink.
"Gotta save me some for later, right?" he said mildly, reclining back in the sun.[
Two unfamiliar people were on the lawn now - new trainees, by the looks of them, or maybe he just hadn't seen them before; and Chance gave them both a little nod and a light smile in greeting, head tilted back so that his dark curly hair fell over his forehead in messy black curls.
"Hey," he said with a smile. "You guys new around here?" Steal don't worry, all Sun are invited! If some were missed off, it was purely accidental! C:

OOh, yay!!! Mimi followed suit and picked a brownie out of the bag, munching away happily on it. Sweets always made everything better~ She looked around as more hunters came in, happy to see so many new faces. Friendsssssssssssss
And a familiar one! Mimi perked up when she saw Ace. "Hi Ace!!!"

Otto was pretty damn grateful it wasn't another 4am mission or meeting. He walked into the training fields without the usual zombie ish deadened gaze from lack of sleep or a hairdo from being roused from bed. He was instead looking fairly awake and groomed. Ready for whatever ******** Allen had planned for the hapless Suns he lead.
Otto saw many people he knew. Cami, Peyton, Chance. So many friends for the pickings, yet....
Crap, he needed a multi sided coin.
