Gale gave Quinn another glance, and the briefest of nods.
Jake was also given a pointed look, but it was more of a did you bring snacks look than anything else.

Jake misinterpreted Gale's look for a "you screwed up" one, and just... frowned. What did he do wrong now Gale-senpai.

Oh dear god this was going to be horrible. Bradley stood at the back, right shoulder bound in what could only be a cast, and arm in a sling, and wondering what level of demon he needed to sell his soul to stay completely invisible in the back of the room. The Life Division had done a marvolous job patching him up, but he was still out of commission for at least two weeks. With multiple returns to the healers for more healing.
He glanced around the room, trying to not be the five foot, nine inches he was. Oh this was going to go terribly he just knew it.

Gale would have mimicked eating something, but that seemed silly, so instead he just sat there and made more serious faces at Jake that were probably not helpful in the slightest.

Horace watched the glances being traded around the table and barely resisted rolling his eyes. He wasn't sure if it would be better if they had started passing notes like high school girls or not. ********, just ******** learn sign language. He flipped a notebook open and began to sketch.

Entirely incapable of ever being discreet, simply by nature of existing, Edgar noticeably arrived.

Lucky took a seat next to Rep, wondering how hard it would be to actually will himself completely invisible. He was mostly staring intently at his open notebook, but would occasionally glance in the direction of familiar faces.
He went well out of his way to avoid looking at Mark at all, though, for some reason.

Gretchen's attention was rather forcibly yanked towards the door when a certain princely figure arrived and she found herself staring while trying very hard not to stare. It was a challenge, to be sure. She also gave Lukas' side an elbow under the table and then twitched her head in Edgar's direction when she had his attention.

He watched as more people filed in, idling drawing out the seating chart. Lucky got a face because he had ignored Horace's tweet. He shifted in his seat and added an extra chair labeled "dragon". He then drew a dragon in it.

Rep gave lucky a concerned sidelong look, his mouth set in a thin line. No one had actually found the grail had they? That was probably going to be on the agenda. If there was an agenda.
The quiet was really getting to him already and he was more than a little fidgety, picking up a pen and putting it back down before disassembling it and well...that was it. He didn't put it back together again.
"So uh. Is it always this quiet? I feel like I'm back in ******** school."
Rep had not done well at school.

Horace quickly slid his notebook onto his thigh, scribbled something on a sheet of paper, folded it into an airplane and reconsidered. Instead, he simply held it up with a pointed look. Once it fell open, it would read simply. "YES."

Rodney was looking forward to the meeting. He did not bring a folder, although the moment he stepped in, he was a little worried by the sheer amount of folders in the room.
He had brought a bag of pretzels, in case it was that sort of meeting.
There wasn't really a snack table.
There was just...the one, very large table.
He put bag of pretzels under his chair instead. The meeting had the air of a library, or some other very muted place. He did like quiet, but mostly warm, friendly, and companionate quiets, and he wasn't sure this was one of those. He folded his pale hands and still looked up with occasionally hopeful smiles at anyone who would meet his eye.

Just in case.

Lucky returned Rep's look - and question - with a slow shrug and a slight shaking of his head. He didn't have any more of a clue what was supposed to happen than Rep did, apparently. Though it didn't seem hard to guess. If no one was talking, there was probably a reason. A reason named Caelius....
