Jessie had pulled out the list of books that needed to be pulled for collection as well as her paperwork. She glared at her stack of paper and debating on if she could put it off a little bit longer. When Mercy came up she sighed and looked over at her. "Don't suppose you know anything about property taxes, balancing spreadsheets, and other mind numbing paperwork?" It was said as a joke, really what Jessie figured she would get the younger girl to help with was pulling requests from the stacks. But it never really hurt to ask right?
As Jessie began to think about the books they needed to pull something occurred to her, “Mercy… why 50 Shades? Why that book? If those girls were interested in S&M there is more then enough on the web and the movie comes out soon so they totally could sneak in or what ever. And there are better books out there for that information. Hell some of the books in the romance section could fill in that role… I have the Kama Sutra upstairs if you want to borrow it.” It was a rare thing for Jessie to nonchalantly offer to let someone borrow one of her own books. “Sadly its not really something I keep stocked because it just doesn't quite fit anywhere. Its not art, or history, or romance.... besides when I do get a copy it seems I get inundated by giggling middle school boys for a few weeks until I sell the book.” She really didn’t see what the appeal was but inevitably she would always break up the group, embarrass the boys enough to get them to leave, and stick the book behind the counter.
