"What makes you think I'll get into trouble!?" He scoffed. Gael was starting to really dislike this girl. She was a smart mouth, had an attitude, and went along with his family's views of what Oban's were like. To say the least, it was very annoying. "Yea, sure." He shook his head and started to walk away from the girl and her mount, after all he was wasting precious time. "I'll be on my way then."

She frowned when Gael gave a bit of an outburst. "I didn't mean it like that. I just didn't want you to get into trouble with anyone.." Kalli couldn't understand why he was so hostile. Then again, it seemed like most Matorian's were. She sighed and pushed her heel into the Janarim's side to steer it in the direction of home. "A-alright, just be careful. Not all Janarim are nice like this one." She was helping, right? Giving advice.

His head gave a shake and he kept walking. There was no need for him to keep taking to this girl. Either she was one of the rich kids that was entitled to everything or she was just very dense. Though he paused when she gave the warning about other Janarim. "No. You don't say.. " There was a deep note of sarcasm in his voice as he replied to her warning. "I think I got that."

"You are very rude." She finally said. Kalliope shook her head and then looked away from the boy. She wouldn't worry about him then. If he wanted to be like that. "Have a good day." She gave a goodbye and kicked the familiar to signal she was ready to return home. The Janarim took the cue and started to trot off into the distance. He could carry his small rider all the way home like that since she weighted very little.

As the Oban girl left he gave a salute to he receding back. "Good riddance." He said to himself. With a deep breath Gael checked his pocket to make sure he still have what it was his aunt wanted him to deliver and then started to walk once more. He needed to reach the home of his aunt's friend quickly so he could return just as fast. He didn't like it here in Oba. Not one bit.
