Walpurgis remained calm in the face of Zin's accusations. "I've betrayed no one. My loyalty has always been to Team Rocket." Satori jumped backwards, handily dodging the crobat, as Gangrel jumped on top of her head, eyes blue, and fired an ice beam.

Karina sent out Jeanne and Blaire, and sent them at the dusknoir. The raichu rushed up and sent a thunderbolt arcing towards Mephistopheles, and the scyther flew towards him. Mephistopheles raised his arms, and a legion of shadow tendrils formed in front of him, blocking the thunderbolt and cutting off the scyther.

Zebo hung back to guard Zinnia and Lenore, as the other pokemon were busy fighting. He wouldn't give Walpurgis a chance to use those knives of his, if he dared to approach.
Zyk dodged the ice beam. It appeared that he had a new opponent!
"Air Cutter!" Zinnia commanded.
Zyk flapped his wings quickly to send a razor-sharp gust of wind for the rattata perched on Satori's head. If the wind hit the enemy liepard as well, well, Zyk wouldn't cry over it!

The mew and mewtwo flew high into the air to make their own space. Each formed a purple force field bubble around themselves, and they proceeded to crash into each other repeatedly. Their speed and force of their collisions grew higher and higher as they tested one another's strength

Satori and Gangrel jumped to the side, but the rattata was closer to the source of the wind and was hit. Falling to the ground, he got to his feet and scampered away from Satori before firing another ice beam.

A short distance away, Mephistopheles was embroiled in a bitter battle with the tentative raichu and dutiful scyther. The dusknoir fired an ice beam at the two pokemon, but they were too fast and dodged out of the way.

Zyk managed to dodge the second beam, and did not pause for a moment to send another blast of cutting wind toward the rattata.

Above, the mew and mewtwo's force fields shattered at the same time. They backed up and began to glow with an other-worldly purple light as they both charged up for reckless attacks. Even the tiniest of their movements appeared rehearsed; they were perfect mirror images. Their battle was as much within their minds as it was between their bodies.

Jeanne landed a clean thunderbolt on the dusknoir, and he was momentarily paralyzed, which allowed Blaire to slash through the tendrils blocking her from coming closer.

At last the crobat was hit; he fell to the ground, wings iced over to the point that he could not move them. He hissed at the pokemon above him.
"Zyk!" Zinnia cried in alarm. He was helpless so long as he was trapped on the ground! But she dared not move closer. Zebo growled and snarled, but also unable to move lest he risk Zin and Lenore's safety.

The mew and mewtwo crashed into each other again, this time unprotected. They met with the sound of a thunderclap, and brilliantly orchid energy blasted them apart. The flash of light they produced was blinding, but at their altitude it could not reach those battling below. Both were battered, but they recovered quickly and began soaring higher and higher. They were soon no more than a pair of black specks in the sky, each daring the other to give up as the air grew thin and their fur began to ice over.

The rattata wasted no time in attacking his fallen adversary. He fired another burst of ice at the crobat.

Still paralyzed, Mephistopheles was unable to dodge the slashes of the scyther nor the tackles of the raichu. Lenore looked on, slightly worried as Mephistopheles was pummeled by two pokemon, and she considered sending out Sheoldred to help him. But just then, Mephistopheles suddenly slammed a fist to the ground, sending earth jutting upwards at the scyther and raichu.

Zinnia could not take it any longer. "Go and help him, Zebs!" she said in a voice that did not allow for argument.
Zebo bounded forward, leaping clean over the frozen crobat's body, and landed in front of his friend (and sometimes rival). Despite their differences, the liepard was glad to take the hit for his teammate.

Shadow reached her limit before Ems did. When she began falling back, the mewtwo gained the advantage of the high ground (or lack thereof) and dove down with a brightly glowing fist. The paw cracked Shadow Mew on the side of her head, and clone and original fell through the sky together.

The rattata's eyes faded to yellow, and electricity coursed through his body at the sight of the new opponent.

Zebo leaped forward to swat Gangrel with enough force with smash a rock. He had to be careful with his movements, however, lest he leave Zyk or the girls open for attack.

A ways off into the forest, an incredible crash shook the spearows and butterfrees out of the trees. Two figures flew out above the tree tops-- both encased in shield bubbles once again. Shadow and Ems were both breathing hard as the powerful battle continued without restraint.

Gangrel was flung backwards, but he quickly recovered and scampered back towards the liepard with a tackle of his own.
