He did pause, then, turning slowly to face her again, his expression stern but thoughtful. She did acknowledge him - in his knowledge, in that he could teach her - and she was eager to learn. Was the MotherFather pushing them together for this? Was this some sort of lesson he needed to learn?
Could he mentor her, the way he was once mentored?
Grave frowned, indecisive. If he could teach one...and if she could teach one...that was how beliefs spread, wasn't it? That was how knowledge was shared. He accused so many of ignorance, but he never tried to fix it. Could he do that, now...?
