Pox managed to dodge the air attack this time around. He was busy scurrying around so it missed him. Breaking up another chunk of the floor he made more ammo for firing at Zyk. He kicked a nice sized chunk at the bat.

The next attack knocked Zyk out of the air. He crashed badly and remained motionless for a moment before struggling back into the air.

"Zyk!" Zinnia cried in alarm. "Confuse Ray!"

Zyk opened his mouth and sent a strange beam toward the torchic.

Alexa could see Pox getting ready to use another Rock Slide and thus missed the Confuse Ray. However she knew of a move that was sure to end the battle. "Pox use Aerial Ace!" She called out.

Pox looked up at his trainer when she called out a new move. He was confused as to why now she was suggesting something different. He almost didn't consider it and then decided why not. He dashed at Zyk and then jumped up into the air to meet him. As he 'flew' past he made sure to slash him with his claws.

Alexa waved to Zinnia while heading over to her Torchic. She scooped him up and spun him around. "Great job! It was really close too!" She then followed Zinnia's example and left.
