Jerarda Post 6

Jerarda was the last to grab something to eat, but she was always the last one to eat. She wanted to make sure that the kids got food first and would never feel the pang of hunger. Animah would be next. Then again perhaps Jerarda just figured if there wasn't enough food she could go hunt for herself.

She noted how Jerami clung to her side, and though she pondered if the small boy was afraid there was something quite adorable in the way he'd wait for her to be finished before leaving to be with his siblings. As every had gotten a sandwhich she gestured for Animah to take her share before reaching for her own portion.

With her mate leaning against her shoulder she took a deep breath and then took a bite of her sandwich. Once she had swallowed she turned her head and gave Animah a quick kiss on the forhead.

Shima Post 6

Shima took this time to devour her first piece of food, licking the crumbs off her fingers. She noted how Jhana was being her usual picky self, before declaring it was good. Glancing to Jerami to see what he thought of the food before she snatched up another piece and happily shoved it into her mouth as well. Perhaps she was being greedy but she felt like she was starving as she set about finishing her second piece.

"Mummy," She started speaking to either parental figure within ear shot. "When do we get to hunt in the forest? I wanna see it!"

Jerami: Post Six

Giving a bit jump of surprise Jerami turned his wide eyes to looking first at his mother, then to his mommy, and back and forth a couple of times. Wait, what? Hunting? Already? He shook his head rapidly at the idea, antennae twitching like crazy, "I-I don't know... hunting? That seems... a little scary..." He murmured, not thinking that he was ready to go out into the forest to face off against dangerous beasts. Not now, not when he didn't even have a weapon or nearly sufficient enough courage to even stand up against a spitorog.

There were much scarier, dangerous things in the forest, things with sharp teeth and claws that made spitorogs look like... well, spitorogs! Any one of them coould probably take out a dozen of the bubble spitting frogs without a second thought! Not to mention that they were probably all hungry and he was small enough that he'd look like a tasty morsel that was to be gobbled up. No, no thank you, he didn't want to get eaten by any scary beasts he found himself thinking to himself. Here was to hoping that he wouldn't be required to do so any time soon. Here was to also hoping that his mother and mommy wouldn't let Shima go either, he didn't want anything to happen to her or Jhana, wanting both to remain safely at home with him.

Jhana Post 6

Jhana was only halfway through her sandwhich before she heard the words come tumbling out of Shima's mouth. Hunting?! What was she thinking? Was she trying to get them all hurt? Here eyes widened and she looks down at her little hands. "No Mama!" She turned to Shima. "No! We can't go. We're too little! Tell her we're too little!" She panicked to her mothers. She looked to her brother and huffed. "See, Jerami doesn't want to go either!"

She was not going to get dragged out into the jungle to be hunted instead of hunting. There were big scary things out there.

Aminah Post 6

Aminah was startled with Shima's question. She didn't think that Shima would want something like that yet. Not at such a young age. But she did seem to be taking a lot from Jerarda's side. Always fearless, always loud and brash, ready to tackle anything.

And then there were her two little ones. In some ways the opposite of their sister, Shima. It was almost humorous to Aminah at the sudden jump from the siblings. But she smiled to her little ones and tried to reassure them. "You'll only go out when you're ready." She patted Shima on the top of her head. "Now keep eating my fierce hunter. Pretty soon we'll all be going inside for our naps."She reminded them all. They had played rough today and would end up fizzling out eventually.

Jerarda Post 7

Jerarda was also starteled by their one daughters sudden desire to go hunting. She really wasn't afraid of anything was she? Jera wasn't entirely sure if she should be proud or worried. Patting Jerami's head to sooth him she looked to Jhana and nodded her head slowly.

"Ah...I would agree with your mother. Once your are old enough you can learn to hunt." She managed unsure if this would put her young one into a tantrum or not. Sometimes it was hard to understand the thoughts of her daughter.

Shima Post 7

Looking with a sour face to both Jerami and Jhana crossing her rather crumby fingers over her chest in defiance. "We are not too young!" She stated rather crossly, looking at her siblings as if they had betrayed her by not wanting the same thing as she did.

Looking up to Jerada she anger would quickly mounting into a meltdown it was easy to see that she was tired and when tired she wasn't really able to deal with her emotions well. "I want to hunt! I don't want to nap!" She protested her anger and frusteration quickly turning to tears.

Jerami Post 7

Jerami couldn't help but to sigh in relief with both of his parents agreed that they weren't ready for hunting. It was something that made him quite happy because it meant that he wasn't going to find himself in a stand off against some sort of scary beast any time soon. No, he'd rather just stick close to home, as well as close to his mothers, for the time being. Passed that everything else seemed a bit intimidating to the smaller boy right now.

At the mention of a nap he gave a nod of his head, finishing up his lunch before taking a could steps closer to Jerarda to hug her leg, resting his head against it. A nap sounded nice to him, especially upon hearing that his sister and mothers would be joining him. A nice nap pile was good by him even though it seemed that it was the exact opposite of what Shima wanted to do.

He glanced toward her, giving her a look of concern when she started to cry, before her reached out to stroke her hair in an attempt to calm her. Given the tears he wondered if maybe she really did need a nap even though she protested it? Likely, though he wouldn't say it out loud since it might just make things worse at this point. Best to just pet her hair and hope that his mothers were able to calm her down if he couldn't.

Jhana Post 7

Jhana sighed with relief, putting a hand to her chest with an exaggerated motion. They wouldn't go out. She was right. She grabbed a hold of her mama's leg and pressed her face against it. Now that that was settled she could relax and didn't have to fight so hard for them.

A nap sounded good. She could feel her tummy getting heavier the more the food settled and it was making her eyes droops without her realizing. Yes. She could use a nap. Especially with her mamas.

Aminah Post 7

Aminah watched as Shima's eyes welled and then the temper started. She definitely didn't get the answer she wanted, that was for sure. Jerami reached for Shima's hair and stroked it before Aminah could make it to her little girl. She put a hand on her head before she leaned over and scooped her up. She was getting so heavy, but they were all still Aminah's precious babies, just growing up much too fast.

Come now." She cooed, rubbing Shima's back. "You will one day." She tried to rock Shima a bit, attempting to settle her down. "I think it might be time to all go inside. What do you think?" She asked the others.
