" Oh.... well, that's good that I didn't hit you then... " She said, sounding a little unsure again. She wiped her eyes with her eyes with her sleeve, and slowly uncurled, and rising up to her feet.
" Still your magic is really strong. I imagine that it will be great in battle ' She said, giving himself a more sure smile as she got herself a little more under control. She was still shaken horribly by it, but she had spent the past year learning to stamp down her guilt and regret into a teeny tiny box in the corner of her mind.
She got shakily to her high heels -which anyone who knew her well would know that was the greatest sign of all at how much the attack had effected her, because that girl could HIKE in heels like it was nothing-
" I don't really know that many people, let alone people who I could train with. most people I have met once and then I never see them again. I am getting the sad feeling that that happens a lot. " She frowned a bit, she had seen so many people kick the bucket as it were, it was no longer surprising to see missing people posters pop up all over town, and even more tragic, at her school. And then it dawned on her.
" .... could I train with you? " She asked quietly, ringing her hands together nervously, looking up at him shyly.

"Don't worry about it," Glitnir said. "And yes, it has proven pretty useful so far, even if it's mostly just experimenting right now." He listened to her tale of people who tended to disappear, nodding sympathetically. "Do you have your signet ring? If you know someone's name, you can just write them a message, push your signet ring into it, and then it'll whoosh off to them. Magic! It's neat. It might help you meet more people again." Then the request came, and he visibly brightened up. "I would be happy to train you! I think it'd mostly be magic resistance and dodging for you, but I can also do things like show you around my Wonder. Immerse you in the Knight life."

She blinked at him, pale green eyes not showing any recognition to the name he said. " I... um... I don't have one. Where would I get it? " She said, frowning slightly.
Edens whole demenor seemed to brighten up a bit, the actual prospect of being able to learn some things from another knight was exciting! Usually people just told her to learn, to train, but no one ever bothered or offered to show her how.
Really, if she had been a puppy, she'd be wagging her tail. Her hands, which had been ringing together, gave a very dainty clap, and she visibly bounced. This was probably the first time she had ever been excited about doing anything powered up... well... ever!
" Oh thank you! Fantastic!! Should I meet back up with you here? What time? Do I need to bring anything? " She was practically wriggling with excitement.

"It's probably somewhere on your Wonder," Glitnir answered. "You should really go up there some time and look around." It was impossible for him not to be tickled by how happy Eden seemed to be at the prospect of having someone train her. "I'll send you the details through a ring mail. It would help if you got your signet ring before then so you can message me back if there are any problems." He nodded and smiled, taking a step back. "Maybe you should go home and rest. It looked like my magic took a lot out of you. Just keep an eye out for mysteriously appearing papers, okay? It'll probably be my message to you."

" Ooh... It could be... I've never been there, there could be a whole lot there that I'm completely unaware of. But Edens supposed to be a garden right? " She thought about it for a moment, tapping a finger to her chin. Hmm... It seemed like a daunting idea but he seemed to think she could do it, so she would try... Eden was supposed to be a nice place, wasn't it? But the Idea of going to a mythological garden.
A mythological SPACE GARDEN.
And it was HER wonder... so it probably wouldn't be full of monsters or goblins or anything like that.
Eden smiled, and gave an enthusiastic nod of her head, copious amounts of rainbow y shimmery hair bouncing about " I will! Thank you again! " The little page, whom was just not noticing how much littler than him he was, gave him a hug. Or maybe the proper term was a glomp. A light glomp? " Thank you again! " And then she realized she was hugging a person she just met, granted a very nice guy she just met, but she was just so happy she forgot her manners.
" Um.... " O//////////////O She removed herself very slowly, like she was defusing a bomb. " Thank you again. " She stuck her hand out for a handshake, then fled.
Embarrassed, but feeling a lot lighter then she had in a long time. And definitely excited about receiving magical paper notes.
