HP - 4/20

Iwatooshi, hearing the other swords getting hit as well, growls slightly before glancing over his shoulder swiftly to see where they all were. He starts backing up towards the others, Naginata held in front of him. "Tch... Everyone, pair up if you can and try to get here. We'll take them on as a group." He wasn't sure they heard him though, and was busy now trying to keep the enemy from getting through his guard again. He was getting reeeeally tired of not being able to land a good hit on the enemy. Finally, he swings his Naginata again, lashing out at the nearest ones, who were harassing Yoshiyuki.

Mutsunokami Yoshiyuki heard Iwatooshi's order and started to back towards the Naginata, glancing over at Kashuu, Honebami, and Imanotsurugi as he did so to see who would need help getting back more. To him, it seemed like Imanotsurugi needed help more, what with one of his arms taking a nasty blow. Honebami needed help too, however, and Honebami was closer. Aiming with his gun, Yoshiyuki shoots at the enemy harassing Imanotsurugi before he sees Iwatooshi's Naginata take out the enemies that had been creeping up on him while he'd been taking stock of his companions. He was still really glad the Naginata was on their side and not the enemies as he dashes over quickly to ram into the enemy sword that held Honebami by his ankles, hoping to cause the enemy to loosen his grip so that the other could get back to his feet. "You ok?" He asks, pained grin on his face.

Things were not looking well for the group of swords. Kashuu uttered a curse, slicing at the enemy in front of him. He was no longer thinking about the praise he wanted to receive. He was more focused on survival now. He didn't want to break again. He had such a fear of this happening, and it was causing him to panic. And on top of that, he was growing tired. As he looked over his shoulder at the others he winced. Honebami had fallen, and Yoshiyuki had moved to help him. Kashuu was closer to Imanotsurugi who also seemed to be needing help. So Kashuu decided to listen to Iwatooshi. If they could just get close together and put the last of their efforts into defeating the enemy.

"I-I cannot fall here!" he cried slashing again at the enemy and then immediately leaping backward. He rushed over to Imanotsurugi, attempting to get the enemies to back away from him. "I'll try and cover you! Hurry this way!" he hollered, attempting to act as a shield of sorts. "Get to the others!"

If he was going to fall here, he at least wanted to be a hero in the end.

Hearing the newest commands, Honembami gave a curt nod before falling into line with Yoshiyuki. He had to admit, he couldn't think of any other way they could have a better chance as a team. He remained attentive through the pain in his shoulder, still gritting his teeth when forced to move too suddenly, but managed to get back into the swing of using his sword. As Yoshiyuki cut down his most previously cunning for, a wide grin spread across his face. They might be able to turn this fight around... Ensuring that nobody had the opportunity to get behind either of them, he readied himself for the remaining onslaught of enemies.

Imanotsuguri worked his way back to the group carefully. Anytime the enemy got too close for comfort he would duck and attack accordingly. However he never left Kashuu's side, quickly picking up the way the other fought and was able to work efficiently beside him. It was a skill he learned from his former master - Yoshitsune no Minamoto and something his long years of fighting along side his older brother, Iwatooshi taught him. He always worked better along side someone. Once made to attack, altered to protect, being besides someone seemed to suit him fine. As the returned to the group he glanced over his shoulder at the group, grinning happily like a child who just scored tons of candy on halloween. "We can do this guys!"

HP - 2/20

Iwatooshi felt his grin widening even more as his group managed to form their back to back circle. He gives a fierce cackle, raising his Naginata up above the heads of those around him so that he wouldn't hit any of them, then he slams his weapon down quickly on the enemies closest to him. "Che. You'll have a hard time getting us now, I think!" He taunts, bringing his weapon back up cross-wise in front of him to block with.

Mutsunokami Yoshiyuki moves to stand near to where Kashuu and Imanotsurugi were, thinking them to be the most injured out of the group. "You two should get between Honebami and myself so we can protect your sides too." He says quickly, frowning at one of the enemy as it lunged in Kashuu's direction and drawing his gun, shooting at it quickly before flipping his gun around in his hand and trying to pistol-whip the offending enemy.

Honebami, his breathing becoming labored due to his wounded shoulder, gave a quick nod before lining himself up so as to protect Kashuu and Imanotsurugi. He slashed out at the remaining enemies, realizing that they too were growing weaker. It seemed they might have a fair chance against their enemy at this point. He couldn't tell who had the upper hand anymore, if either side actually did. Even as Honebami began to feel his strength wane, he kept steady and swung at the enemy with all his might. "We shall not be defeated!" He poured every ounce of remaining determination into his speech, and continued to strike down the enemy as best as he could.
