"I was thinking about how you forget things, and I wanted to help." With a bit of deep breath, he held out the box to the faunness to open.
Inside would be a simple bracelet made of bent twigs and string, with a little carved 'K' charm danging off. "So...when you look at it, you'll think of me."OOC: so the bracelet would look kind of like this Simple enough that even Kai can do XD

She blinked a few times, looking up at him as he spoke. Kai was offering her help? What was he helping with? Her head tilted to the other side, confusion clear on her face. How could she forget about Kai? He was so sweet!
"Oh K-" But the sight of the cute little bracelet inside the box completely cut her off. She was speechless, if only for a moment. The orange fauness stood there staring at it in mild shock. It was so cute! "Oh my gosh, it's adorable! You made it yourself? Oooooh, it has a K on it" Fi gushed, lifting the delicate looking thing out of it's box. It was just springy enough to be pretty durable, and the little metal wrappings made it tougher than it looked. The craftsmanship on it was amazing! "This is amazing!"

He turned bright red as she mentioned him making it, and gave a bit of a nod. It was rather silly picture of him sitting on his bed, fiddling around with green twigs so that they bent easy. "I'm pretty good with my hands, what with making traps." Kaiden gave a bit of a smile though at how her eyes sparkled while looking at it. "I wasn't sure if it was too soon to give gifts. But I had the idea and thought you'd like it." The green male rubbed the back of his neck slightly, looking boyish. And if she looked down at it while he was gone and she thought of him...
...that was enough to put a smile on his own face.

Fi smiled, wiggling it on over her hand to rest on her wrist. It even fit her perfectly! She squealed, wrapping her arms around his neck and planting a kiss on his lips. "Thank you Kai <3" She cooed, happier with the thought he'd make something for her than any date could have.

He more than happily returned the kiss, still thanking his stars that she forgot about the 'fro' incident.
Though thinking about it did make him stifle a chuckle. "You're welcome Fi. I'm glad you like it!" He gave her a warm hug before slowly releasing her. "You ready to look at the stars?"

Fi smiled, sticking pretty close to him when he released her. "I think... Let me grab the basket and we can be off~" She offered, having set down whatever she had packed for the night somewhere while dealing with the monstrosity that was her hair.
With a quick glance around, she spotted the misplaced basket and quickly scooped it up. Way easier carrying blankets this way~ "Ready~"

Kaiden nodded as she moved to scoop up the blanket before taking her hand. "Great. This'll be a nice change, after not going out because of curfew." He understood the Chiefs reasoning, knew it was for their safety and he trusted his judgment. Still, it was a trying time when at any moment any faun could be thought treasonous because they stayed out a little too late. Or talked to demon or angel...
like his brother. He wondered how his adopted siblings were doing, and if they knew about the attack.

"It will, but the chief has a good reason for keeping a curfew." She'd started keeping something written down, a way of reminding her what was going on outside of her own slightly forgetful world. "Even if the stars have always been there~" She grinned, looking up at him. "Do you know how to get up there?"

He nodded in agreement, certain as well that it was for good reason. "I just hope we can punish the one responsible and things can get back to normal." Though deep in his heart he knew things were not going to be normal for a very, very long time.
When she mentioned about getting up to the stars, he pulled his mind from the darker thoughts. The faun shook his head with a bit of a bashful smile. "Not a clue. I guess this time you've got to lead me."

She nodded her agreement, hoping that the criminal responsible for the horrid crime would be apprehended soon. Anyone who could cause so much pain and run away like a scared little child... Fi couldn't fathom the idea. Really, who would or even could do such a thing?
"Oooooh, this will be fun~" Phiona grinned, looking up at him. She really had next to no idea how to get up there, or maybe she did and couldn't remember how she'd gotten up there? "Wanna bet the trip up there will be as fun as the actual stars?"

Wait, did that mean that she wasn't entirely sure how she got up into the branches before?
He grinned broadly himself at the thought. "Want to have a contest to see who can find the way up first?" His tail gave a little flick.

She grinned, "Then it wouldn't be half as fun as getting there together." Fi looked up at him, "Buuuuut the trip out there will be fun. Getting lost and then trying to find your way back~ It's so much fun!" The faunness gushed, knowing she really did feel that way about getting lost.
Her little tail was wiggling with the excitement. An entire evening with Kai and they would even be getting lost together! Oh it was going to be a lot of fun!

She shot down his idea, but it was for a very good reason. Together. He blushed warmly under his fur. "Together then. There's no one I'd rather get lost with." Even though she was probably the worst pae to be lost with, since she wouldn't remember any landmarks.
He gave her hand a squeeze before leading her out of the knook. Faun were already settling in for the evening, and the usual hum of footsteps and chatter was replaced with silence. It made him a little giddy, like two teenagers sneaking out.

Happily leaning into him, Fi followed Kai out of her front door. There were faun settling in for the night, a majority of them going for their evening prayers. Devout faun all near her. It almost made her feel bad for missing her own that evening, but Laisidhiel would be with her and her boyfriend. They could share the stars together.
"I think the easiest way up there issssss...." She looked in either direction, one looking pretty right, and the other... Not so much. "That way!" A wide smile broke over her face, pointing in the direction that felt most right. With her luck, it was probably the exact opposite, but the journey would be half the fun.

Hopefully the guards wouldn't spot them and send them off to bed. In his mind he sent off a quick prayer of his own, but it was more towards them not getting caught than his normal rites. "That a way it is." He grinned back before started down the random direction she pointed. Wasn't this the way to the storage room? Or was that more to the right? As the faun never went this far up the tree, he didn't rightly know.
The occasional faun they passed along the way, he flashed a smile and nod to. They weren't up to anything. Of course not. Just on their way to their rooms. "Are you afraid of the dark?" Another wide grin. With everyone going to sleep, soon all the lights would be turned out. One by one.
