Green Minuet
"Well..." Lutrin hemmed and hawed, as though about to reveal a great secret. Eyes narrowing, she sized Aerona up. She knew her new friend was athletic, cunning, and bold, a truly magnificent trinity of traits, but... Lutrin could not help but wonder if she would really be up to the task. It was, after all, the most daring of ventures.

She laced her fingers together, in deep thought. Then slowly, she brought them in front of her face. She ended the motion by extending either index finger and pinching her nose. "There is a place..." she began in a nasal voice. Almost immediately Lutrin stopped and fell into a fit of giggling. Taking a deep breath (and releasing her nose) she tried again.

"There is a place in the Four Fronds that I've been wanting to explore. It's down by the lake and..." She sped up as she grew more excited. "It's the biggest most glamourous hive there is, and I bet there's all kinds of strange things inside, because here's the thing!!" Lutrin lunged forward to get eye to eye with Aerona, slapping the table in her excitement. "It's almost always empty! OooOOooOOoo~! Spooky, huh?"

Aerona’s eyes grew larger and larger as her friend spoke. “Some high-hat’s place in Four Fronds…?” She whispered. Aerona suddenly grew sour. She whirled around and put her hand on her chin, her brow furrowing. “Hmm. I don’t know… Sounds…..” She sighed. Aerona tugged on one of her braids and slowly turned to Lutrin with a dour expression.

“AMAZING?!?” She exploded into a smile. “Totally not spooky though!! I bet that freakazoid has some kind of dead body collection or something. Like, lowbloods from the woods or something.”

Aerona crossed her arms. “Do you think you can handle it?”

Green Minuet
"Of course!" Lutrin puffed her chest up. "Who do you think I am? The great Lutrin turns down no challenge!" Truth be told though, the thought of a collection of corpses, particularly those from the woods put her off a bit. It seemed a little too... real a possibility. Never mind though! That would be the worst case scenario and that would definitely not happen. Besides, she would have Aerona with her.

Lutrin plopped her rump down onto the table, sitting sideways. She waggled her eyebrows at Aerona. "Soooooooo," she said in a sing-song voice. Her eyes sparkled as she leaned in towards Aerona. "I bet you know all kinds of cool places!"

Sypon
“You bet I do.” Aerona winked. “Mostly nice landscapes, ‘tho. I’m not a city slicker yet! Hey… Let’s add them to the list.”

She clapped her hands together on top of Lutrin’s and grinned ear to ear. “We’re gonna make the best hitlist ever. An exploration hitlist, just you and me! How about that?”

Green Minuet
Lutrin's pumpbiscuit swelled with delight at Aerona's words. She threw her arm up into a salute. “Yarr! Aye-aye, captain!” Then, with a hop, skip, and a bounce, she pounced onto the table where Aerona was writing. Sitting criss-cross applesauce, she grabbed a fat brown crayon to add to the list. “We could find treasure and fight off bad guys too! Like secret agents! Or superheroes!” She doodled whimsical pictures beside Aerona's handwriting. “Of course, we'll need equipment too! Like snacks and disguises!”

Sypon
“Yeah, yeah…” Aerona exclaimed, still writing. “Sounds good.”

She had turned out Lutrin’s suggestions, thinking first of all the sweet Busthind hotspots she wanted to take her fast new friend to. There were some nice peaks, but the real goods were in the village. They might have to get up … Sunnily early to hit the Busthind Imperial Statue in the Valley Square. That would totally be worth it. Maybe bring some of Lutrin’s markers and googly orbs along too to stick to it. Hilarious! She laughed out loud at her thoughts and turned to Lutrin.

“Alright Lutes, this all sounds great. We’ll hit all of our targets hard and fast! With… Treasure and bad guys, and stuff! Yeah! We can put little missions into it. Touch the nose of the Civisect Library Buildingbeast, and… Get beefgrub burgers…!”

As Aerona kept writing, more ideas popped into her head. Lutrin was a spring of imagination. She tugged her friend close as she came up with wild fantasies, achievable climbs and not-so-achievable (and maybe potentially illegal) jaunts into each city.

Sophitia had disengaged Lutrin’s lusus for a moment to check in on the two. Time had passed; how long had they been at it? And… No one had been hurt yet? She peeked over just so that the girls were in her line of sight and crossed her claws over her chest. A young, bubbly troll her own charge’s age with a respectable gentleman for a lusus. Warning signs aside, there was hope here.

The crustacean lusus skittered back towards Sugardad and gave him a bow. They would have plenty to talk about, plenty of pleasantries and stories during their charges’ playtime. Perhaps in the meantime she could see if Sugardad had enough flour and sugar to bake the ladies something nice. Sophitia purred. For the first time in a long while, Aerona had enough of a distraction for her to relax. At least for a few hours.
